In the process of transition from agricultural society to industrial society,which started with the Industrial Revolution in England,the mechanization process experienced five different stages and in the last stage,with the development of computers,automation in production was *** developments in a certain region or country of the world spread to other parts of the world with technological spread,technological revolutions also spread and paradigm changes *** the development of information processing technologies,productivity has started to increase with the use of automation and robot technology in *** process,which continued until the 2010s,is thought to lead to the formation of smart factories that can produce under the dominance of robots,after the new point reached in artificial intelligence and robot technology,and this development will further increase productivity in *** robots working in the internet of things system will be able to work with greater power and longer periods than humans,and smart factories that are almost never shut down will *** the transformation in this process,which is also called robonomics,changes in the theory of economy may occur and a new economic order may *** question of why behind-the-scenes countries,such as Turkey,could not catch up with the leading ones,is another matter of ***,in such periods of technological paradigm change,an opportunity arises for lagging countries for their economic *** the other hand,we can say that Turkey will either be able to catch up with the technological level of developed countries by taking advantage of the opportunity,by means of a step-by-step technological development,or it will continue to stay among the countries that lag behind by missing the opportunity.

A Historical Approach on the Opportunity to Acquire Technology Development Capability in Turkish Automobile Industry

Vegetation diversity along the altitudinal and environmental gradients in the main wadi beds in the mountainous region of South Sinai,Egypt

South Sinai includes Egypt’s highest mountains that resemble an ecological island surrounded by *** present study aims to analyse the vegetation physiognomy along the altitudinal and environmental gradients in the main wadi beds in South Sinai mountainous *** includes determining the natural,native-weed and alien vegetation in representative stands in this region,analysing their vegetation in terms of species composition,abundance and life forms and determining the national and global distribution of the associated *** investigation also aims to describe the prevailing plant communities and assess the role of environmental conditions that affect the vegetation in this ***,thirty-two stands were chosen during March-June 2018 to reflect the prevailing altitude and environmental *** species was 316(229 genera and 61 families):186 species were perennials(58.9%),while 130 were annuals(41.1%).In addition,152 species were native weeds(48.1%of total species),31 were aliens(9.8%),along with 133 natural species(42.1%).Eight species were recorded as endemic to Egypt:Anarrhinum pubescens,Euphorbia sanctae-catharinae,Hypericum sinaicum,Origanum syriacum ***,Phlomis aurea,Primula boveana,Rosa arabica and Solanum *** addition,10 species were recorded as near-endemics to Egypt and other adjacent countries:Allium desertorum,Asclepias sinaica,Centaurea scoparia,Fagonia mollis ***,Hyoscyamus boveanus,Iphiona mucronata,Micromeria sinaica,Pterocephalus sanctus,Salvia deserti and Stachys *** the present study,33 species are threatened and categorized as follows:8 endangered,8 vulnerable and one indeterminate,while the rest were evaluated by the authors as *** rich plant diversity of this region is due to its extensive mountainous massif,which supports many *** high elevations in this region hinder the dispersal process of propagules,a situation which often tends to increase endemic and ne

The Sustainable Development＇s Added Value to Humanity： An Improvement or Degradation Compared to the Past？

Sustainable development is the latest concept in a long series of conceptual innovations aimed to bring a space of dream to our harsh reality due to economic growth. This inflation of adjectives added to the development, like sustainable, viable, etc., is an attempt to blur our eyes about its negative effects; it is like a magic conjuration. When we look at all its implications, we are so far. There are reasons to be pessimistic： The paths that this concept will lead us to are not clear. In the sustainable development concept, we find only a new packing to our harsh reality： a matter of marketing. Sustainable development was presented as a ＂solution＂ to our innumerable recent problems; on the contrary, it may be a problem to solve. Shouldn＇t this concept be seriously questioned and maybe condemned？ Assuming no drastic measure taken to control earth problems, by the year 2032, 70% of the planet will be destroyed. Sustainable development is a rhetorical ploy which seeks to reconcile what is irreconcilable： the environment and the development. A policy which is not carefully enough thought will carry along various perverse and adverse effects for the ecology as much as for the economy.

Ingested bone fragment in the bowel: Two cases and a review of the literature

Generally, ingested foreign bodies are excreted from the digestive tract without any complications or morbidity. In adults, ingestion of foreign bodies frequently occurs in alcoholics and elderly individuals with dentures. The most commonly ingested foreign bodies are food stuffs or their parts, such as fish bones or fragments of bone and phytobezoars. Sharp foreign bodies like fish and chicken bones can lead to intestinal perforation and peritonitis. We report herein two cases, one of bowel perforation and another of anal impaction, both caused by ingested bone fragments. Complications due to ingested bone fragments are not common and preoperative diagnosis remains a challenge and therefore it must be considered in susceptible cases.

Use of Plant Extracts in the Control of Post-Harvest Fungal Rots in Apples

Different fungi alter apples in the post-harvest period, causing considerableeconomic losses and risks to consumer health due to the mycotoxinsthat some of these fungi produce. The control of these fungal alterationsin apples is mainly dependent on the use of chemical fungicides, the effectivenessof which has been well proven. However, this use is subject torestrictions due to growing concerns about risks to human health and theenvironment and the continued development of pathogen resistance to commonlyused fungicides. A new approach to control post-harvest fungi hasbeen implemented through the application of plant *** is estimatedthat there are more than 250,000 higher plant species on Earth that can beevaluated for their antimicrobial bioactive chemical compounds. In recentdecades, researchers have evaluated plant extracts and essential oils againstfungi responsible for post-harvest apple rot. Interesting results have beenobtained. The purpose of this project is to summarize and discuss the resultsof in vitro and in situ experiments of different literatures concerning the effectsof compounds derived from plants on the control of fungi responsiblefor rotting apples in storage.
