Trends in Fruit and Vegetable Intake Among the Labor Force Population—China,2010-2018

Introduction:This research investigates trends pertaining to the prevalence of low fruit and vegetable consumption among the labor force population in *** study considered data derived from four nationally representative cross-sectional ***:The data under review for this study was derived from the China Chronic Disease and Risk Factor Surveillance(CCDRFS)carried out in 2010,2013,2015,and 2018,*** utilized a food frequency questionnaire to evaluate the quantity and frequency of fruit and vegetable *** estimated prevalence of low fruit and vegetable consumption was calculated for each survey,while considering factors such as sex,age,location,and socioeconomic status(SES).Participants’SES was ascertained via latent class analysis,serving to identify distinct classes based on criteria such as education,occupation,and household income per *** regression was deployed to determine the statistical significance of ***:From 2010 to 2018,there was a notable increase in the average daily consumption of vegetables and fruits among the working population,rising from 418.6 g/day to 491.8 g/day(Psaw stable consumption levels throughout this period(P>0.05 for trend).Conclusion:Over the past nine years,there has been a notable decline in the prevalence of low fruit and vegetable consumption among the labor force population in ***,the comparatively deficient intake of fruits and vegetables evident among individuals of lower SES warrants further attention.

To assess the peripheral refractive changes that occur when eye growth decelerates in *** We measured peripheral refraction and on-axis vitreous chamber depth on a total of 53 marmosets;36 treated monocularly for 12 weeks 9 hrs/day(26 with-5 D contact lenses,10 with+5 D)and 17 untreated *** the 26 marmosets treated with-5 D,10 wore contact lenses 9 hrs/day without interruptions and were mea-sured at the end of 10 weeks of treatment(T10)and after 4 weeks of recovery(R14).Eight had both contact lenses removed for 30 mins twice/day(mid-morning and mid-afternoon)during the first four weeks of treatment(early interruption group)and eight had the lenses removed during the second four weeks of treatment(late interruption group).The two interruption groups were measured after 4,8 and 12 weeks of treatment only(T4,T8,T12).

The purpose of this paper is to study users’ acceptance of the Key Performance Indicator Monitoring System （KPI-MS） developed using PHP 5.2 as the scripting language and MySQL Community Server 5.0 as the databases management *** acceptance of KPI-MS system is in terms of its perceived usefulness and perceived ease of *** data for the study was collected using a survey instrument which was modified from Davis’s study on Technology Acceptance Model （TAM）.A total of 78 participants from all the schools and centres in one of the public universities in West Malaysia participated in this *** instrument was validated by three experts in the related field and scored the reliability with Cronbach alpha value of 0.955.A descriptive analysis was conducted to indicate the mean scores of KPI-MS rated by the *** findings showed that the users rated KPI-MS as very useful in monitoring KPI performance of their schools or *** conclusion,the KPI-MS system is accepted by the users in terms of perceive usefulness and perceive ease of use on the system.

Effects of High Fluoride and Low Iodine on Thyroid Function in Offspring Rats

Thirty-two Wistar rats were divided randomly into four groups of eight with six females and two males in each group. The rats were exposed to high fluoride drinking water （45 mg F-L^-1 from 100 mg NaF L-1）, low dietary iodine （0.0855 mg kg-1）, or both together in order to assess the effects of these three regimens on the thyroid function of the offspring rats. After the animal model was established, the offspring rats were bred and 10-, 20-, 30-, 60-, and 90-d-old rats were used for the experiment. The treatments for the offspring rats were the same as those of their parents. In comparison with control rats, the relative thyroid glands were changed by three regimens, but the mean values of thyroid weight in the experimental groups saw no marked difference. Serum TT3 levels were increased in all stages in the low iodine （LI） group. In the high fluoride （HiF） group, increase in TT3 levels was observed except in 20-d-old rats. Decrease in TT3 at 20- and 90-d and increase in TT3 at 30- and 60-d were found in HiF＋LI group. Serum TT4 levels first saw an increase, and then dropped in the LI and HiF＋LI group. However, an increase in TT4 was found in the HiF group. The levels of TSH in serum rocketed at d 20, and then dropped in the next stages in experimental groups. The results suggested that thyroid disorder could be induced by high flroride in drinking water, low iodine diet, or both of them. Exposure time to fluoride or low iodine diet was one of the important factors that fluoride can induce the development of thyroid dyfunction.

Fast-growing forest pruning robot structure design and climbing control

According to the requirement of fast-growing forest pruning operation, the pruning robot was developed. The structure and control system of pruning robot were described, the work flow of pruning robot was expounded. The type and structure of the driving motor and the compression spring were decided with force-balance analysis. The tilt problem of pruning robot was resolved by ADAMS and Matlab co-sim- ulation, and the control scheme of climbing mechanism was determined. The experiment results of the prototype indicate that pruning robot can climb tree trunk smoothly at a speed of 20 mm/s and cross the raised trunk. The pruning saw which is driven by the adjustable speed motor can cut the branches of 30 mm. And the residual amount of branches is less than 5 mm. Pruning robot can meet the practical requirements of the fast-growing forest pruning work.

BACKGROUND Fetus-in-fetu(FIF)is an extremely rare congenital abnormal mass,in which a normal fetus’s vertebral axis frequently connected with malformed fetus around this ***,we report the case of a male infant aged 26 d presenting with retroperitoneal parasitic *** SUMMARY In a prenatal examination,we first detected an abdominal mass measuring 7.8 cm×5.1 cm×6.8 cm in a mother’s abdomen at 25 gestational weeks and teratoma was *** the fetal was born,we did a magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and ultrasonography on him and saw a distinctive limb with *** to the result of MRI,ultrasonography and postoperative pathology,he finally was diagnosed with *** A laparotomy was performed at 26 d of age with excision of the retroperitoneal cystic tumor,which measured about 10 cm in *** to the result of imaging and histological test,FIF was confirmed.

Dynamics and Inequalities in Energy Efficiency in China

As rapid economic growth in China in recent decades, the quality of economic growth through improvement of energy efficiency has attracted great attention. This paper evaluated energy efficiency of 29 provinces in China between 2000 and 2016 based on a global non-radial directional distance function. Moreover, the dynamics of energy efficiency were investigated using the non-radial global Malmquist-type efficiency index. The paper also sheds light on the evolution of inequalities in energy efficiency by decomposing interprovincial inequality into its within-region and between-region components. The findings of the study are as follows. First, the national energy efficiency was 0.49 in 2016, which indicated that 51% improvement could be made to reach the global technology frontier. Tianjin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong and Guangdong had the best energy efficiency in 2016, while Ningxia and Xinjiang had the lowest performance. Second, the national annual growth rate of energy efficiency was 3.4% between 2011 and 2016, which was a positive sign of energy efficiency improvement. Shandong made the biggest improvement in energy efficiency from 2011 to 2016, with 26.2% annual growth rate. Lastly, within-region inequality saw a decreasing trend after 2010 and was overtaken by between-region inequality in 2016.

Worldwide, the incidence of birth defects in low-income countries is 6.42%, while in middle-income and high-income countries it is 5.57% and 4.72%, respectively;approximately 303, 000 newborns die from birth defects each year. In China, the incidence of birth defects is about 5.6%, and around 8.14 million people have congenital disabilities, accounting for 9.6% of total disabled people[1]. Birth defect remains a major clinical and public health challenge because of its high fatality rate and protracted and severe sequela.
