Human placental allografts are the latest treatment modalities for diabetic ulcers, chronic wounds, limbs, and tendons for healing cascade and promoting granulation tissue coverage. Purion® processed dehydrated human amnion/chorion membrane allografts (dHACM), decellularized human collagen matrix (dHCM), dehydrated umbilical cord (dHUC) and micronized dehydrated human amnion/chorion membrane allografts (mdHACM) have been the newest modality used to salvage injured human extremities with tendon and bone exposure. A 53-year-old male was assaulted and sustained second and third degree burns to both legs. The left extremity had a 9.5% total body surface area (%TBSA) burned. The right extremity had a 5.5% TBSA and three exposed tendons (Achilles/flexor digitorum longus/tibialis anterior), muscles, talar and tibial bones. Bilateral extremity pedal pulses were present, and all toes had less than two second capillary refill. Sensation, motor, and strength were normal. During the 48-day-hospital stay, the patient had eight operations: tangential excisional debridements of necrotic tissue with weekly wound dressing applications of dHACM and dHCM, on both legs. In addition, dHUC was applied over the exposed tendons on weeks 2 - 5. The exposed tendons were injected with mdHACM on weeks 4 and 5. Negative pressure wound therapy was applied at 125 mmHg for

However. ther. is limited knowledge on the potential capacity of this r.sour.e to contr.bute to the expansion of a biomass for.bioener.y industr.. In addition, ther. ar. concer.s on how to r.concile biomass har.esting with envir.nmental pr.tection. Methods： We used r.gional ecosystem vegetation mapping for.Queensland to str.tify har.estable for.sts within the 1.8 m hectar.s of pr.vate native for.sts pr.sent in the Southeast Queensland bior.gion in 2014. We used a dataset of 52,620 individual tr.e measur.ments fr.m 541 for.st inventor. plots collected over.the last 10 year.. Tr.e biomass was estimated using cur.ent biomass allometr.c equations for.Austr.lia. Biomass potentially available fr.m selective sawlog har.esting and silvicultur.l tr.atment acr.ss the bior.gion was calculated and mapped. r.sults： Cur.ent sawlog har.esting extr.cts 41.4% of the standing tr.e biomass and a biomass for.bioener.y har.est would r.tain on aver.ge 36% of felled tr.e biomass on site for.the pr.tection of envir.nmental and fauna habitat values. The estimated ar.a extent of har.estable pr.vate native for.sts in the bior.gion in 2013 was 888,000 ha and estimated available biomass for.bioener.y in living tr.es was 13.6 million tonnes （t）. Assessment of mass tr.nsfer.char.cter.stics of per.apor.tion (PV) tr.atment of wastewater.contaminated with chlor.nated hydr.car.ons is of gr.at impor.ance for.water.tr.atment plant oper.tor. conducting initial evaluation, pr.cess optimization, and pr.cess economics. While a membr.ne plays a centr.l r.le in per.apor.tion pr.cesses and separ.tion efficiency, the mass tr.nsfer.in the liquid layer.next to the membr.ne sur.ace is of equal, if not gr.ater.impor.ance. It is one of the few pr.cess par.meter. that can be adjusted in situ to manipulate the outcome of a per.apor.tion pr.cess. In this study, a bench scale per.apor.tion exper.ment of r.moving a common chlor.nated hydr.car.on fr.m water.was car.ied out and the r.sults of it wer. compar.d to the ones based on well-known semi-empir.cal cor.elations. The mass tr.nsfer.coefficients fr.m the exper.ments, r.nging fr.m 0.8×10−5∼2.5×10−5 m/s under.the oper.ting conditions, ar. higher.than those pr.dicted by the cor.elation. The cor.esponding separ.tion factor. under.var.ing flow velocities ar. deter.ined to be between 310∼950.
