Mobile Ad Hoc Network(MANET)is an infrastructure-less network that is comprised of a set of nodes that move *** MANET,the overall performance is improved through multipath multicast routing to achieve the quality of service(quality of service).In this,different nodes are involved in the information data collection and transmission to the destination nodes in the *** different nodes are combined and presented to achieve energy-efficient data transmission and classification of the *** route identification and routing are established based on the data broadcast by the network *** transmitting the data packet,evaluating the data delivery ratio is necessary to achieve optimal data transmission in the ***,energy consumption and overhead are considered essential factors for the effective data transmission rate and better data delivery *** this paper,a Gradient-Based Energy Optimization model(GBEOM)for the route in MANET is proposed to achieve an improved data delivery ***,the Weighted Multi-objective Cluster-based Spider Monkey Load Balancing(WMC-SMLB)technique is utilized for obtaining energy efficiency and load balancing *** WMC algorithm is applied to perform an efficient node clustering process from the considered mobile nodes in *** balancing efficiency is improved with a higher data delivery ratio and minimum routing overhead based on the residual energy and bandwidth ***,the Gradient Boosted Multinomial ID3 Classification algorithm is applied to improve the performance of multipath multicast routing in MANET with minimal energy consumption and higher load balancing *** proposed GBEOM exhibits∼4%improved performance in MANET routing.

The Lomagundi(-Jatuli)event,characterized by extremely high positive global inorganic carbon isotope excursion at about 2.2 billion years ago,is pivotal in investigating the causes and consequences of great oxygenation event,inventory and sequestration of carbon on the Earth’s surface,evolution of life,and more profoundly tectonic control on Earth’s ***,the reasons that caused the isotopic excursion are not resolved ***,we report the discovery of meta-carbonate rocks with distinct positive carbon isotopic excursion from the Paleoproterozoic continental collision zone of the Kongling Complex,South China *** δ^(13)C_(V-PDB) values for meta-carbonate rocks show positive values in the range from+5.5‰to+11.6‰,whereas the δ^(13)C_(V-PDB) values of associated graphite deposits range from-25.8‰to-9.5‰.Zircon U-Pb-Hf isotopes from zircon-bearing meta-carbonate sample yielded weighted average _(207)Pb/_(206)Pb age of 2001.3±9.5 Ma,with correspondingε_(Hf)(t)range from-7.05 to-3.16,comparable to the values of local 2.9–2.6 Ga basement *** characteristics of meta-carbonate rocks,such as their rare earth element patterns and the trace element parameters of La,Ce,Eu,and Gd anomalies and Y/Ho ratio,suggest that the carbonate deposition took place in passive continental margin in association with large volumes of organic *** extensive graphite deposits from Kongling Complex in South China Craton,their equivalents in the North China Craton and elsewhere across the globe prove that the burial of ^(12)C-enriched organic carbon has eventually resulted in the global enrichment of ^(13)C in the atmospheric CO_(2),which is recorded in the marine carbonate *** mass balance estimates indicate that more than half of the organic carbon was buried during the oceanic ***,the observed global shift could be directly related to the continent collision event in greater China,thus resolving the long-standing paradox of the Lomag

Responding to complex analytical queries in the data warehouse(DW)is one of the most challenging tasks that require prompt *** problem of materialized view(MV)selection relies on selecting the most optimal views that can respond to more queries *** work introduces a combined approach in which the constraint handling process is combined with metaheuristics to select the most optimal subset of DW views from *** proposed work initially refines the solution to enable a feasible selection of views using the ensemble constraint handling technique(ECHT).The constraints such as self-adaptive penalty,epsilon(ε)-parameter and stochastic ranking(SR)are considered for constraint *** two constraints helped the proposed model select the finest views that minimize the objective ***,a novel and effective combination of Ebola and coot optimization algorithms named hybrid Ebola with coot optimization(CHECO)is introduced to choose the optimal *** and Coot have recently introduced metaheuristics that identify the global optimal set of views from the given *** combining these two algorithms,the proposed framework resulted in a highly optimized set of views with minimized *** cost functions are described to enable the algorithm to choose the finest solution from the problem ***,extensive evaluations are conducted to prove the performance of the proposed approach compared to existing *** proposed framework resulted in a view maintenance cost of 6,329,354,613,784,query processing cost of 3,522,857,483,566 and execution time of 226 s when analyzed using the TPC-H benchmark dataset.

The digital elevation model(DEM)is a type of model that has been widely used in terrain analysis and hydrological *** resolution influences the hydrological and geomorphologic features of delineated catchments and consequently affects hydrological *** study investigated the impacts of DEM resolution on the performance of the XAJ-GIUH hydrological model,a model coupling the widely used Xinanjiang(XAJ)hydrological model with the geomorphologic instantaneous unit hydrograph(GIUH),in flood simulations in small and medium-sized *** test the model performance,the model parameters were calibrated at a fine DEM resolution(30 m)and then directly transferred to the simulation runs using coarser ***,model recalibration was conducted at coarser DEM *** the simulation runs with the model parameters calibrated at the 30-m resolution,the DEM resolution slightly affected the overall shape of the simulated flood hydrographs but presented a greater impact on the simulated peak discharges in the two study *** XAJ-GIUH model consistently underestimated the peak discharges when the DEM resolution became *** qualified ratio of peak simulations decreased by 35%when the DEM resolution changed from 30 m to 600 ***,model recalibration produced comparable model per-formances when DEMs with different resolutions were *** study showed that the impact of DEM resolution on model performance can be mitigated by model recalibration to some extent,if the DEM resolution is not too coarse.

Vehicular Adhoc Networks(VANETs)enable vehicles to act as mobile nodes that can fetch,share,and disseminate information about vehicle safety,emergency events,warning messages,and passenger ***,the continuous dissemination of information fromvehicles and their one-hop neighbor nodes,Road Side Units(RSUs),and VANET infrastructures can lead to performance degradation of VANETs in the existing hostcentric IP-based ***,Information Centric Networks(ICN)are being explored as an alternative architecture for vehicular communication to achieve robust content distribution in highly mobile,dynamic,and errorprone *** ICN-based Vehicular-IoT networks,consumer mobility is implicitly supported,but producer mobility may result in redundant data transmission and caching inefficiency at intermediate vehicular *** paper proposes an efficient redundant transmission control algorithm based on network coding to reduce data redundancy and accelerate the efficiency of information *** proposed protocol,called Network Cording Multiple Solutions Scheduling(NCMSS),is receiver-driven collaborative scheduling between requesters and information sources that uses a global parameter expectation deadline to effectively manage the transmission of encoded data packets and control the selection of information *** results for the proposed NCMSS protocol is demonstrated to analyze the performance of ICN-vehicular-IoT networks in terms of caching,data retrieval delay,and end-to-end application *** end-to-end throughput in proposed NCMSS is 22%higher(for 1024 byte data)than existing solutions whereas delay in NCMSS is reduced by 5%in comparison with existing solutions.

Purpose:Intramedullary implants are well accepted fixation of all types of intertrochanteric(IT)frac-tures,both stable and unstable *** nails have an ability to effectively support the posteromedial part,but fail to buttress the broken lateral wall requiring lateral *** aim of this study was to evaluate the outcome of proximal femoral nail augmented with trochanteric buttress plate for broken lateral wall with IT fractures,which was fixed to the femur through hip screw and anti-rotation screw ***:Of 30 patients,20 had Jensen-Evan typeⅢand 10 had type V *** with IT fracture of broken lateral wall and aged more than 18 years,in whom satisfactory reduction was achieved by closed methods,were included in the *** with pathologic or open fractures,polytrauma,prior hip surgery,non-ambulatory prior to surgery,and those who refused to participate were *** operative time,blood loss,radiation exposure,quality of reduction,functional outcome,and union time were *** data were coded and recorded in Microsoft Excel spread sheet *** 20.0 was used for data analysis and normality of the continuous data was checked using Kolmogorv Smirnov ***:The mean age of patients in the study was 60.3 *** mean duration of surgery(min),mean intra-operative blood loss(mL)and mean number of exposures were 91.86±12.8(range 70-122),144.8±3.6(range 116-208),and 56.6(range 38-112),*** mean union time was 11.6 weeks and the mean Harris hip score was ***:Lateral trochanteric wall in IT fractures is significantly important,and needs to be recon-structed ***-plate construct of trochanteric buttress plate fixed with hip screw and anti-rotation screw of proximal femoral nail can be successfully used to augment,fix or buttress the lateral trochanteric wall giving excellent to good results of early union and reduction.

Numerical investigation of the effect of transitory strand opening on mixing in a multistrand tundish

In a multistrand,the outlet near the inlet produces short circuiting *** leads to the formation of dead zones inside the tundish,and consequently,the mean residence time *** the present study,numerical investigation of mixing inside a delta shaped tundish with sloping boundaries was carried out by solving the Navier-Stokes equation and employing the standard turbulence *** decrease the dead zone volume inside the tundish,the effect of closing the outlet near the inlet for a small amount of time and further opening it on the mixing behavior of the tundish was *** outlets near the inlet were closed for varying amount of time,and the transient analysis of fluid flow and the tracer dispersion study were carried out to find the mixing parameters of the tundish,namely,mean residence time and the ratio of mixed to dead volume of the *** optimum closure time of the near outlet has been found,which yields best mixing inside the *** numerical code was validated against the experimental observation by performing the tracer dispersion study inside a multistrand tundish and the reasonably good match between the experimental and numerical results in terms of residence time distribution （RTD） *** results obtained from the present study confirm the strong role of choosing the right time for opening and closing the outlets to get improved characteristics for the fluid flow and mixing behavior of the *** educational version of computational fluid dynamics （CFD） software PHOENICS was used to solve the governing equations and interpret the results in different forms.
