The current advancement in cloud computing,Artificial Intelligence(AI),and the Internet of Things(IoT)transformed the traditional healthcare system into smart *** services could be enhanced by incorporating key techniques like AI and *** convergence of AI and IoT provides distinct opportunities in the medical *** is regarded as a primary cause of death or post-traumatic complication for the ageing ***,earlier detection of older person falls in smart homes is required to improve the survival rate of an individual or provide the necessary ***,the emergence of IoT,AI,smartphones,wearables,and so on making it possible to design fall detection(FD)systems for smart home *** article introduces a new Teamwork Optimization with Deep Learning based Fall Detection for IoT enabled Smart healthcare Systems(TWODLFDShS).The TWODL-FDShS technique’s goal is to detect fall events for a smart healthcare ***,the presented TWODL-FDShS technique exploits IoT devices for the data collection ***,the TWODLFDShS technique applies the TWO with Capsule Network(CapsNet)model for feature *** last,a deep random vector functional link network(DRVFLN)with an Adam optimizer is exploited for fall event detection.A wide range of simulations took place to exhibit the enhanced performance of the presentedTWODL-FDShS *** experimental outcomes stated the enhancements of the TWODL-FDShS method over other models with increased accuracy of 98.30%on the URFD dataset.

It is increasingly recognised that collecting patient reported outcome measures(PROMs)data is an important part of healthcare and should be considered alongside traditional clinical *** part of a more holistic view of healthcare provision,there has been an increased drive to implement PROM collection as part of routine clinical care in *** drive has resulted in an increase in the number of PROMs currently developed to be used in various liver ***,the development and validation of a new PROM is time-consuming and ***,before deciding to develop a new PROM,researchers should consider identifying existing PROMs to assess their appropriateness and,if necessary,make adaptations to existing PROMs to ensure their rigour when used with the target *** is written in the literature on how to identify and adapt the existing PROMs in *** article aims to provide a summary of the current literature and guidance regarding identifying and adapting existing PROMs in clinical practice.

Realizing the full potential of ultrahigh-intensity lasers for particle and radiation generation will require multi-beam arrangements due to technology ***,we investigate how to optimize their coupling with solid ***,we show that overlapping two intense lasers in a mirror-like configuration onto a solid with a large preplasma can greatly improve the generation of hot electrons at the target front and ion acceleration at the target *** underlying mechanisms are analyzed through multidimensional particle-in-cell simulations,revealing that the self-induced magnetic fields driven by the two laser beams at the target front are susceptible to reconnection,which is one possible mechanism to boost electron *** addition,the resistive magnetic field generated during the transport of the hot electrons in the target bulk tends to improve their *** simulations also indicate that such effects can be further enhanced by overlapping more than two laser beams.

Beef heifer fertility: importance of management practices and technological advancements

The development of replacement heifers is at the core of cow-calf beef production systems. In 2020, the USDA,National Agricultural Statistics Service reported 5.771 million beef heifers, 500 pounds and over, are under development for cow replacement. A compilation of data from several studies indicate that between 85% and 95% of these heifers will become pregnant in their first breeding season. Several thousands of heifers being raised for replacement may not deliver a calf on their first breeding season and result in economic losses to cow-calf producers. Many management procedures have been developed to maximize the reproductive potential of beef heifers. Such approaches include, but are not limited to the following: nutritional management for controlled weight gain, identification of reproductive maturity by physiological and morphological indicators, and the implementation of an estrous synchronization *** implementation of management strategies has important positive impact(s) on the reproductive efficiency of *** are limitations, however, because some heifers deemed ready to enter their first breeding season do not become pregnant. In parallel, genetic selection for fertility-related traits in beef heifers have not promoted major genetic gains on this particular area, most likely due to low heritability of female fertility traits in cattle. Technologies such as antral follicle counting, DNA genotyping and RNA profiling are being investigated as a means to aid in the identification of heifers of low fertility potential. To date, many polymorphisms have been associated with heifer fertility, but no DNA markers have been identified across herds. Antral follicle count is an indication of the ovarian reserve and is an indicator of the reproductive health of a heifer. The dawn and rise of antimony use in the southern Caucasus

Antimony(Sb)was utilised over several millennia as the prime material to opacify or decolour glass and glazes,as well as an accompanying element in copper(Cu)*** antimony objects are rare,and mostly confined to Chalcolithic Central Italy and to the first millennia BCe in the southern *** innovation of antimony use in metallurgy seems to be confined to the southern Caucasus,and the invention of it might be even more specifically situated in the Great *** knowledge of mining set the pathway for the initial stage of antimonial copper alloys in the first half of the third millennium BCe and for metallic antimony ornaments in the second half of the third millennium ***,the first major expansion of antimony in the metallurgy of the Racha-Lechkumi district in the southern Caucasus(present-day Georgia)started around 1700 BCe,while its spreading in glassmaking occurred in the Late Bronze Age(LBA).explanations that place antimony adoption within its broader social context are favoured over those that consider material or geological properties in isolation.A recurring theme is the importance of comparative analysis,both geographically and between the different pyrotechnologies,including the precious metals and glass industries,to explore how social,political,climatic and economic conditions affected adoption and innovation *** these factors are considered to explain why the extraction of antimony blossomed in the Late Bronze Age in the southern Caucasus and to reconstruct a framework of exploitation,distribution/trade and use of antimony in the Caucasus and its neighbouring regions in the south and east.
