Investigation of the transformation of organic matter of carbonate deposits of the semiluksky-Mendymsky horizon under hydrothermal conditions

The paper presents the results of studies on the transformation of the organic matter of siliceous-clayey carbonate rocks of the semiluksko-Mendymsky horizon of the Romashkino oil field in a hydrothermal fluid for an hour（with a water-to-rock ratio of 33） at 340℃ and 380℃ and pressu res of 17 and 20 *** a result of hydrothermal treatment,at 340℃ and 17 MPa,based on nitrogen porosimetry and electron microscopy data,transformations of rock-forming minerals in the rock are *** lead to an increase in the volume and average diameter of mesopores in it and the formation of micropores,as well,which improve its filtration *** the same time,the amount of kerogen in the composition of the organic matter decreases and the yield of the petroleum hydrocarbon extract increases,in which,according to the sara analysis,the content of asphaltenes increases and the content of resins,aromatic and saturated hydrocarbons *** the composition of aroatic hydrocarbons,the proportion of a lkyltri methyl benzenes and dibenzothiophenes increases,phenanthrene homologues appear,and in the composition of saturated hydrocarbons,the amount of iso-structure alkanes decreases relative to the content of linear *** the temperature and pressure of the hydrothermal fluid to 380℃ and 20 MPa increases the degree of kerogen conversion from 12.4% to 23.6%.At the same time,changes occurring in the component composition of petroleum hydrocarbon extracts remains similar to the experiments carried out at 340℃ and 17 MPa;the content of naphthalenes decreases,the content of dibenzothiophenes increases and C11-C17,C19-C22alkyltrimethylbenzenes *** to IR spectroscopy,with increasing temperature and pressure of the hydrothermal fluid the intensity of the absorption bands of the aromatic ring,aliphatic fragments,and oxygen-containing groups increases in resins;the structural-group composition of asphaltenes changes little:aromaticity and the content of condensed

Risk of pacemaker implantation after femur fracture in patients with and without a history syncope: a Danish nationwide registry-based follow-up study

BACKGROUND It has previously been described that fall-associated injuries including fractures are commonly observed among patients with ***,knowledge on the risk of pacemaker implantation after admission due to femur fracture from large population-based epidemiologic data is ***,we investigated the risk of pacemaker implanta-tion following femur fracture in patients with and without a history of previous *** All patients with femur fracture between 2005-2017 were identified using the Danish Nationwide Patient *** these,patients already having a pacemaker were *** outcome was one-year risk of pacemaker implanta-tion and secondary outcome was one-year all-cause *** logistic regression was used to obtain absolute and relative risks of the study endpoint in relation to patients with versus without history of syncope and standardized to the age,sex,selected comorbidity and pharmacotherapy distribution of all *** Of 93,093 patients with femur fracture,5508(5.9%)had a history of syncope within five *** with prior syn-cope were slightly older(84 vs.83 years),more often male(33.6%vs.29.4%),and had more often comorbidities relative to those without history of ***-cause mortality was significantly higher among those with previous history of syncope com-pared to those without previous syncope(29.9%vs.28.6%,P=0.021).The relative mortality risk was 1.05(95%CI:1.01−1.09,P=0.021).A total of 695(0.8%)patients underwent pacemaker implantation within 5 years following femur fracture,and a signific-antly higher proportion of patients with syncope had a pacemaker implanted within one year(1.6%vs.0.7%,Psk,2.01[95%CI:1.55−2.46]).CONCLUsIONs In patients with femur fracture,a history of syncope was significantly associated with a higher one-year risk of pacemaker implantation.

Quadrilateral finite elements for linear micropolar continuum theory are developed using linked *** order to satisfy convergence criteria,the newly presented finite elements are modified using the Petrov-Galerkin method in which different interpolation is used for the test and trial *** elements are tested through four numerical examples consisting of a set of patch tests,a cantilever beam in pure bending and a stress concentration problem and compared with the analytical solution and quadrilateral micropolar finite elements with standard Lagrangian *** the higher-order patch test,the performance of the first-order element is significantly ***,since the problems analysed are already describable with quadratic polynomials,the enhancement due to linked interpolation for higher-order elements could not be *** the presented elements also faithfully reproduce the micropolar effects in the stress concentration analysis,but the enhancement here is negligible with respect to standard Lagrangian elements,since the higher-order polynomials in this example are not needed.

Enzymatic and chemo-enzymatic strategies to produce highly valuable chiral amines from biomass with ω-transaminases on 2D zeolites

Amino transaminases(ATAs) have been supported on a 2D ITQ-2 zeolite through electrostatic interactions, resulting in a highly stable active biocatalyst to obtain a variety of valuable chiral amines starting from prochiral ketones derived from biomass. We have extended the biocatalyst applications by designing a chemo-enzymatic process that allows, as the first step, prochiral ketones to be obtained from biomass-derived compounds through an aldol condensation–reduction step using a bifunctional metal/base catalyst. The prochiral ketone is subsequently converted into the chiral amine using the immobilized ATA. We show that it is feasible to couple both steps in a semi-continuous process to produce industrially relevant chiral amines with yields of >95% and ～100% enantiomer excess.

Non-invasive sensing techniques to phenotype multiple apple tree architectures

Tree fruit architecture results from combination of the training system and pruning and thinning processes across multiple growth and development ***,the tree fruit architecture contributes to the light interception and improves tree growth,fruit quality,and fruit yield,in addition to easing the process of orchard management and *** tree architectural traits are measured manually by researchers or growers,which is labor-intensive and *** this study,the remote sensing techniques were evaluated to phenotype critical architectural traits with the final goal to assist tree fruit breeders,physiologists and growers in collecting architectural traits efficiently and in a standardized *** this,a consumer-grade red–green–blue(RGB)camera was used to collect apple tree side-images,while an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)integrated RGB camera was programmed to image tree canopy at 15 m above ground level to evaluate multiple tree fruit *** sensing data were compared to ground reference data associated with tree orchard blocks within three training systems(spindle,V-trellis,Biaxis),two rootstocks(‘WA 38 trees grafted on G41 and M9-Nic29)and two pruning methods(referred as bending and click pruning).The data were processed to extract architectural features from ground-based 2D images and UAV-based 3D digital surface *** traits extracted from sensing data included box-counting fractal dimension(DBs),middle branch angle,number of branches,trunk basal diameter,and tree row volume(TRV).The results from ground-based sensing data indicated that there was a significant(Ps between spindle and V-trellis training systems,and correlations between DBs with tree height(r=0.79)and total fruit yield per unit area(r=0.74)were significant(Ps between average or total TRV and ground reference data,such as tree height and total fruit yield per unit area,were significant(P<0.05).With the r

A comprehensive simulation-based assessment of office building performance adaptability to teleworking scenarios in different Canadian climate zones

Recent studies have shown that office building systems do not adapt well to partial occupancy(e.g.,from teleworking)and thus perform *** a result,this study aims to assess office building performance adaptability by investigating the impact of four different technologies,including occupancy-based lighting,smart plugs(occupancy-based plug load),demand-controlled ventilation(DCV),occupancy-based thermostat,and their cumulative effect in office buildings in six different Canadian climates.A three-story office building is simulated in EnergyPlus version 9.3.0 under five occupancy scenarios,including 0%occupancy,100%occupancy,50%uniformly distributed occupancy across the floor,50%consolidated occupancy scenario where occupants work in core zones,and 50%consolidated occupancy scenario where occupants work in perimeter *** results are compared using energy use intensity(EUI),energy use intensity per occupant(EUP),and the corresponding greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions.A total of 180 simulations demonstrate the occupancy-adaptive technologies are generally most beneficial for low occupancy scenarios and milder *** results also show the cumulative impact of all these technologies on the potential energy savings is significant in the climates under ***,the results show office buildings can improve their performance adaptability during partial occupancy by implementing the studied *** from filling in the current knowledge gap in the literature on partial occupancy,the for the first time results of this study systemically demonstrate how each technology performs under different partial occupancy scenarios and how they perform together at each climate.

Development and transferability of two multiplexes nssR in scots pine(Pinus sylvestris L.)

Experimental study on the effects of artificial bed roughness on turbidity currents over abrupt bed slope change

A series of experimental observations are presented in the current study to discuss the effects of artificial bed roughness on the turbidity current flowing in a rectangular channel with an abrupt change in bed *** this purpose,two different types of elements,sinusoidal and trapezoidal,with various heights and arrangements are considered as artificial bed roughness.A Vectrino velocity meter was used to measure the velocity and sediment concentration *** effects of inlet sediment concentration on front velocity,body velocity,unit discharge,sediment concentration,and suspended load transport rate also were *** equations were developed for estimation of the velocity of a turbidity current over smooth and rough *** unexpected experimental results showed that unlike the effect of roughness height,a change in the roughness arrangement has no significant influence on the velocity of a turbidity ***,the effect of bed roughness on the front velocity of a denser current is more significant.

The interaction of iodine as an cr-acceptor with a synthetic ligand,benzene-1,3-disulfonylamid-kriptofix[22]（BDsAK） as a π-donor has been investigated spectrophotometrically in chloroform（CHCl3） and dichloromethane（DCM） *** results of mole ratio plots and Job＇s method show the stoichiometry of complexation I2/BDsAK is 1：*** constants have been calculated in various temperatures and thermodynamic parameters have also been determined from the temperatures dependence of the stability constants by using van＇t Hoff *** results indicate the iodine complex with BDsAK is enthalpy stabilized but entropy destabilized.
