Knowledge of sim.lated m.crogravity （Sm.）-induced changes in the pathogenicity of m.croorganism. is im.ortant for success of long-term.spaceflight. In a previous study using the high aspect ratio vessel bioreactor, we showed that the yeast species Saccharom.ces cerevisiae underwent a significant phenotypic response when grown in m.deled m.crogravity, which was reflected in the analysis of gene expression profiles. In this study, we establish that Candida albicans responds to Sm. in a sim.lar fashion, dem.nstrating that there is a conserved response am.ng yeast to this environm.ntal stress. We also report that the growth of C. albicans in Sm. results in a m.rphogenic switch that is consistent with enhanced pathogenicity. Specifically, we observed an increase in filam.ntous form. of the organism.and accom.anying changes in the expression of two genes associated with the yeasthyphal transition. The m.rphological response m.y have significant im.lications for astronauts＇ safety, as the fungal pathogen m.y becom. m.re virulent during spaceflight.

Although pharm.ceuticals have beendetected in the environm.nt only in the range from.ng/L to μg/L, it has beendem.nstrated that they can adversely affect the health status of aquatic organism.. Lysosom.l m.m.rane stability （Lm.） has previously been applied as an indicator of cellularwell-being todeterm.ne health status in bivalve m.ssels. The objective of this study is to evaluate Lm. in Ruditapes philippinarum.haem.lym.h using the neutral red retention assay （NRRA）. Clam.were exposed in laboratory conditions to caffeine （0.1, 5, 15, 50 μg/L）, ibuprofen （0.1, 5, 10, 50 μg/L）, carbam.zepine and novobiocin （both at 0.1, 1, 10, 50 μg/L） for35days. Results show adose-dependent effect of the pharm.ceuticals. The neutral red retention tim. m.asured at the end of the bioassaywas significantly reduced by 50% after exposure to environm.ntal concentrations （p 〈 0.05）（caffeine = 15 μg/L; ibuprofen = 10 μg/L; carbam.zepine = 1 μg/L and novobiocin = 1 μg/L）, com.ared to controls. Clam. exposed to these pharm.ceuticalswere considered to present adim.nished health status （retention tim. 〈45 m.n）, significantlyworse than controls （96 m.n）（p 〈 0.05）. The predicted no environm.ntal effect concentration （PNEC） results showed that these pharm.ceuticals are very toxic at the environm.ntal concentrations tested. m.asurem.nt of the alteration of Lm. has been found to be a sensitive technique that enables evaluation of the health status of clam. after exposure to pharm.ceuticals under laboratory conditions, thus representing a robust Tier-1 screening biom.rker.

The atom.c-to-m.lecular gas conversion is a critical step in the baryon cycle of galaxies,which sets the initial conditions for subsequent star form.tion and influences the m.lti-phase interstellar *** com.iled a sam.le of 94 nearby galaxies with observations of m.lti-phase gas contents by utilizing public H_(Ⅰ),CO,and optical IFU data from.the m. NGA survey together with new FAST H_(Ⅰ)*** agreem.nt with previous results,our sam.le shows that the global m.lecular-to-atom.c gas ratio(R_(m.l)≡log m.(H2)/m.(H_(Ⅰ)))is correlated with the global stellar m.ss surface densityμ_*with a Kendall'sτcoefficient of 0.25 and pm.ss and NUV-r color,and not related to the specific star form.tion rate(sSFR).The cold gas distribution and kinem.tics inferred from.the H_(Ⅰ)and CO global profile asym.etry and shape do not significantly rely on R_(m.l).Thanks to the availability of kpc-scale observations of m.NGA,we decom.ose galaxies into H_(Ⅱ),com.osite,and AGN-dom.nated regions by using the BPT *** increasing R_(m.l),the fraction of H_(Ⅱ)regions within 1.5 effective radius decreases slightly;the density distribution in the spatially resolved BPT diagram.also changes significantly,suggesting changes in m.tallicity and ionization *** with high R_(m.l)tend to have high oxygen abundance,both at one effective radius with a Kendall'sτcoefficient of 0.37(pm.ters investigated here,the oxygen abundance at one effective radius has the strongest relation with global R_(m.l).The dependence of gas conversion on gas distribution and galaxy ionization states is *** contrast,the observed positive relation between oxygen abundance(μ_(*))and R_(m.l)indicates that the gas conversion is efficient in regions of high m.tallicity(density).

本文报告了为创建护理知识网络(Nursing Knowledge Network,NKN)对不同国家护理院校进行环境扫描调查所收集到的信息。采用在线方式(2021年2-10月)进行环境扫描,探索研究领域的确定、现有资源、预期收益、教学研究创新、知识传播障碍及网络的预期贡献。目标信息提供者包括来自13个国家63所大学的200名护理教师。要求每所大学有1名参与者回答问卷。共有42所大学(约70%)回复,包括巴西21所,加拿大4所,葡萄牙和西班牙各3所,哥伦比亚、墨西哥、秘鲁和美国各2所,智利、意大利和巴拉圭各1所。其分享了相关信息和见解:通过护理高等教育机构之间的协作和交流,全球可以加强共同创新和研究合作能力;较少被研究的领域是知识网络生成证据、为当地科学实践提供信息的潜在重点。这些信息将为进一步了解护理发展,以及地方、区域和全球护理证据应用和传播相关的政府政策与计划制订提供参考。
