A well-k.own ternary plastic explosive,Czech Semtex 1H,contains a mixture of PETN and RDX softened by *** this work.BCHMX was used to replace PETN in Semtex 1H to form Sem-BC+*** addition,another mixture based on BCHMX and HMX as energetic fillers bonded by the polymeric matrix of Semtex 1H(Sem-BC+HMX)was *** particle size distribution of each individual explosive was determined to obtain the optimum mixing *** and impact sensitivities were *** velocity of detonation was reported practically and the detonation properties were calculated by EXPLO5 *** explosive strength of each sample was measured by the ballistic mortar *** conclusion confirms that the velocity of detonation of Sem-BC+HMX was the highest in comparison with the prepared ***-BC+RDX has the least impact and frictions ***-BC+RDX has higher detonation velocity,detonation properties and explosive strength than Semtex *** of BCHMX in Semtex 1H as a replacement for PETN is the candidate to produce a high performance advanced Czech plastic explosive.

A new four-dimensional quadratic smooth autonomous chaotic system is presented in this paper, which can exhibit periodic orbit and chaos under the conditions on the system parameters. Importantly, the system can generate one-, two-, three- and four-scroll chaotic attractors with appropriate choices of parameters. Interestingly, all the attractors are generated only by changing a single parameter. The dynamic analysis approach in the paper involves time series, phase portraits, Poincare maps, a bifurcation diagram, and Lyapunov exponents, to investigate some basic dynamical behaviours of the proposed four-dimensional system.

In this present time,Human Activity Recognition(HAR)has been of considerable aid in the case of health monitoring and *** exploitation of machine learning with an intelligent agent in the area of health informatics gathered using HAR augments the decision-mak.ng quality and *** many research work. conducted on Smart Healthcare Monitoring,there remain a certain number of pitfalls such as time,overhead,and falsification involved during ***,this paper proposes a Statistical Partial Regression and Support Vector Intelligent Agent Learning(SPR-SVIAL)for Smart Healthcare *** first,the Statistical Partial Regression Feature Extraction model is used for data preprocessing along with the dimensionality-reduced features extraction ***,the input dataset the continuous beat-to-beat heart data,triaxial accelerometer data,and psychological characteristics were acquired from IoT wearable *** attain highly accurate Smart Healthcare Monitoring with less time,Partial Least Square helps extract the dimensionality-reduced *** that,with these resulting features,SVIAL is proposed for Smart Healthcare Monitoring with the help of Machine Learning and Intelligent Agents to minimize both analysis falsification and *** evaluation is carried out for factors such as time,overhead,and false positive rate accuracy concerning several *** quantitatively analyzed results indicate the better performance of our proposed SPR-SVIAL method when compared with two state-of-the-art methods.

Lik. many countries,Canada's building code includes a performance compliance path that compares the energy use of a proposed design to that of a reference ***,provinces across Canada are contemplating an alternative absolute energy use intensity ***,the effect of adopting the absolute approach on house design is not well *** study first developed a proof-of-concept methodology for a technical simulation-based comparison of the two ***,it performed a comparative analysis between the design outcomes of the two approaches using the developed *** this end,statistically representative archetypes were configured to comply with the prescriptive requirements of the building *** characteristics of each archetype were then varied through parametric study,and the resulting energy performance under the absolute and comparative approaches were *** results of this study indicated that the two approaches had different effects on the design and energy use of houses in heating-dominated climate *** performing better under the absolute approach consumed less energy and exhibited more compact architectural *** houses were also less sensitive to improvements in airtightness and envelope than houses performing better under the comparative *** results suggest that adopting the absolute approach based on the energy use intensity metric in building codes would encourage design and construction of houses with higher energy efficiency.

Research on sexual selection and hybridization has focused on female mate choice and male-male competition. While the evolutionary outcomes of interspecific female preference have been well explored, we are now gaining a better understanding of the processes by which male-male compe- tition between species in secondary contact promotes reproductive isolation versus hybridization. What is relatively unexplored is the interaction between female choice and male competition, as they can oppose one another or align with similar outcomes for reproductive isolation. The role of female-female competition in hybridization is also not well understood, but could operate similarly to male-male competition in polyandrous and other systems where costs to heterospecific mating are low for females. Reproductive competition between either sex of sympatric species can cause the divergence and/or convergence of sexual signals and recognition, which in turn influences the lik.lihood for interspecific mating. Future work.on species interactions in secondary contact should test the relative influences of both mate choice and competition for mates on hybridization outcomes, and should not ignore the possibilities that females can compete over mating resources, and males can exercise mate choice.

Developmental and epileptic encephalopathy 9(DEE9):The gene PCDH19(Xq22.1),which encodes the calcium-dependent cell adhesion protein protocadherin-19(PCDH19),is nowadays considered as one of the most important genes in monogenic epilepsy(Depienne and LeGuern,2012).Mutations in PCDH19 are responsible for DEE9(OMIM#300088),a severe neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by early-onset clustering epilepsy,various degrees of cognitive impairment and neuro psychiatric comorbidities,lik. autism spectrum disorder(ASD)and behavioural ***9 patients start suffering from seizures around the age of 10 months until adolescence,when seizures tend to reduce or even disappear,while the psychiatric symptoms persist(Depienne and LeGuern,2012;k.lc et al.,2018).

Quadrilateral finite elements for linear micropolar continuum theory are developed using link.d *** order to satisfy convergence criteria,the newly presented finite elements are modified using the Petrov-Galerk.n method in which different interpolation is used for the test and trial *** elements are tested through four numerical examples consisting of a set of patch tests,a cantilever beam in pure bending and a stress concentration problem and compared with the analytical solution and quadrilateral micropolar finite elements with standard Lagrangian *** the higher-order patch test,the performance of the first-order element is significantly ***,since the problems analysed are already describable with quadratic polynomials,the enhancement due to link.d interpolation for higher-order elements could not be *** the presented elements also faithfully reproduce the micropolar effects in the stress concentration analysis,but the enhancement here is negligible with respect to standard Lagrangian elements,since the higher-order polynomials in this example are not needed.

Tak.yasu vasculitis is a rare type of large vessel vasculitis that primarily affects the aorta and its main branches;signs and symptoms are usually due to systemic inflammation or ischemia of an organ or a limb, depending on the group of blood vessels involved. In addition, Tak.yasu arteritis is associated with increased platelet and coagulation activity, leading to a hypercoagulable state and thrombus formation. We report a case of a 47-year-old male who presented with a history of complete anuria for 3 days and was found to have progressively worsening k.dney function. Renal Doppler ultrasound confirmed the presence of bilateral renal artery thrombosis, while contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) of the abdomen and pelvis showed extensive abdominal aortic thrombosis with radiological findings consistent with large vessel vacuities. After catheter-directed thrombolytic therapy of the renal arteries, the patient started producing urine and his k.dney function significantly improved. Later, positron emission tomography scan (PET) confirmed large vessel Tak.yasu arteritis. Echocardiography showed no intracardiac thrombus, along with an extensive work.up for thrombophilia, as autoimmune and vasculitis serology came back.negative. This is an extremely rare presentation of Tak.yasu arteritis, with an unusual recovery of acute renal failure after prolonged anuria due to bilateral renal artery thrombosis.
