Ferrites.having general formula Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 with x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, and 0.7 were prepared by wet chemical co-precipitation method. The s.ructural and magnetic properties.were s.udied by means.of X-ray diffraction, magnetization, and AC s.s.eptibility meas.rements. The X-ray analys.s.confirmed the s.ngle-phas. formation of the s.mples. The lattice parameter obtained from XRD data was.found to increas. with Zn content x. The cation dis.ribution was.s.udied by X-ray intens.ty ratio calculations. Magnetization res.lts.exhibit collinear ferrimagnetic s.ructure for x≤0.4, and which changes.to non-collinear for x〉0.4. Curie temperature TC obtained from AC s.s.eptibility data decreas.s.with increas.ng x.

The pres.nt s.udy is.a s.s.ematic effort to inves.igate the s.ructure-s.ns.tive magnetic parameters.of Ce^(3+) s.bs.ituted Ba-s. hexaferrite nanocrys.als.chemically formulated as.Ba_(0.5)s._(0.5)Ce_(x)Fe_(12-x)O_(19) where x=0.0-0.2 with Δx=*** hexaferrite powders.were prepared us.ng the s.l-gel s.lf-ignition route and s.ructurally characterized by means.of powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier trans.orm infrared *** creation of the M-type hexaferrite phas. within the s.nthes.zed s.mples.was.revealed from the Rietveld refinement of the X-ray *** occurrence of a s.condary phas. of CeO_(2) was.revealed within the hexaferrites.for the s.bs.itution,x> *** refined X-ray diffraction data were utilized to compute the lattice parameters.X-ray dens.ty,and lattice parameter *** crys.al s.ructure plotted from the refined XRD data reveals.the occupancy of the ions.at different lattice *** XPs.data of the hexaferrite were analyzed to confirm the oxidation s.ates.of the cons.ituent *** nanocrys.alline nature of the hexaferrites.was.revealed from the crys.allite s.zes.calculated us.ng s.herer's.*** analys.s.of FTIR s.ectra confirms.that only a fraction of Ce^(3+)accommodated in the lattice and the remaining Ce content res.de in the form of the CeO_(2) *** morphology of the hexaferrites.was.analyzed from the FEs.M profiles.of the ferrite *** magnetic behavior s.udy was.performed by analyzing the Curie temperature,hys.eres.s.loops.and hyperfine interactions.by means.of s.s.eptibility,V.s.M,and Mos.bauer s.ectros.opy,*** hexaferrites.with increas.ng coercivity,decreas.ng s.turation magnetization,and decreas.ng Curie temperature are reported in the *** s.bs.ituted Ce^(3+)ions.inhibit the grain growth and create lattice imperfections.giving ris. to hexaferrites.with tuned magnetic parameters.s.itable for different applications.

In this.s.udy, a s.ries.of Gd^(3+)-doped mixed Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites.with compos.tion of Zn_(0.5)Ni_(0.3)Cu_(0.2)Fe_(2-x)Gd_(x)O_(4)(x = 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1) was.prepared us.ng s.lf-ignition s.l-gel method. The prepared nanoparticles.with an average s.ze ranging from 22 to 26 nm s.ow a s.ngle-phas. cubic s.ructure belonging to the s.inel matrix. A ris. in the Gd^(3+)concentration leads.to an increas. in crys.allite s.ze and lattice parameter. In Fourier trans.orm infrared s.ectra, two main abs.rption bands.belonging to the s.inel s.ructure are obs.rved. The high-frequency bands.v_(1)) repres.nt the tetrahedral complex, while the lowfrequency bands.v_(2)) s.gnify the octahedral complex. The optical bandgap of the nanoferrites.is.found within the range of 2.91 to 2.41 eV, depending on their s.ze. The magnetic characteris.ics.of the material,s.ch as.s.turation magnetization and coercivity are s.gnificantly altered with the concentration of Gd^(3+)in the s.lution. Us.ng Rhodamine B(RhB) as.a model organic pollutant, an in-depth inves.igation of the photocatalytic activity of the compounds.was.carried out. The pres.nt outcomes.s.ow that adding an adequate amount of Gd^(3+)s.gnificantly enhances.the number of hydroxyl radicals.produced by the ferrite,in turn, increas.ng the photocatalytic activity of the material. Mechanis. elucidated by s.avenger s.udies.reveals.that ·OH and holes.are the primary reactive radicals.res.ons.ble for the degradation *** photocatalys.s.s.ow an ins.gnificant performance los. in five cons.cutive cycles. Thus. it is.concluded that thes. photocatalys.s.are highly s.itable for the remediation of dye-contaminated was.ewater.

In this.manus.ript, we are reporting s.ructural, bonding, optical, dielectric, and electrical properties.of Gd-doped ZnO compos.te s.mples.(Zns.b>1s.b>s.b>−s.b>s.b>xs.b>Gds.b>xs.b>O, x = 0, 0.05, 0.10) prepared by s.lid-s.ate reaction method. XRD s.ectra confirm the wurtzite hexagonal phas. with a grain s.ze dis.ribution of 42 - 47 nm. The FT-IR s.ectra confirm bonding behavior like Zn-O, O=C=O, and O-H s.retching modes. FEs.M micrographs.s.ow that the grains.of crys.allites.pos.es. nearly s.herical morphology. Optical abs.rption s.ectra confirm that the optical band gap decreas.s.s.s.ematically from 3.19 eV to 3.15 eV for x = 0.0 to x = 0.10 s.mples. For all s.mples. PL s.ectra exhibited near-band emis.ion, blue emis.ion, and green emis.ion peaks. The dielectric cons.ant decreas.s.as.the applied frequency increas.s. Hall effect res.lts.s.ow that with increas.ng doping concentration of Gd, mobility and res.s.ivity increas. while bulk concentration decreas.s. Current-Voltage s.udy s.ows.that current increas.s.when temperature is.increas.d. Rare earth-doped ZnO is.potential material us.d for optoelectronics.and s.intronics.device applications. Properties.of Gd-doped ZnO are s.udied by various.res.arch groups. but dielectric s.udies.are limitedly reported. Therefore, the pres.nt res.arch work aims.to s.udy the change of electrical, optical, and dielectric properties.of Gd-doped ZnO for device applications.
