The unsteady two-dimensional, laminar flow of a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid towards a shrinking surface in the presence of a uniform transverse magnetic field is studied. Taking suitable similarity variables, the governing boundary layer equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations and solved numerically by a perturbation technique for a small magnetic parameter. The effects of various parameters such as unsteadiness parameter, velocity parameter, magnetic parameter, Prandtl number and Eckert number for velocity and temperature distributions along with local Skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number have been discussed in detail through numerical and graphical representations.

(1-y)(BiFe_(1-x)GdxO_(3))–y(PbZrO3)composites(y=0:5),having four different Gd concentrations(x=0:05,0.1,0.15,and 0.2),were synthesized and their structural,dielectric,and ferroelectric properties have been studied using different characterization *** addition,to investigate the effect of ion implantation on the microstructure and dielectric properties,these composites were exposed to 2 MeV He+-*** of the structure,surface morphology and electrical properties of the samples before and after ion exposure were demonstrated using powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)technique,and LCR *** compositional analysis was carried out using energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry(EDS).XRD results demonstrated a decrease in the intensity profile of the dominant peak by a factor of 6 showing a degradation of the ***–Hall(WH)plots reveal reduction in the grain size after irradiation along with an increase in strain and dislocation density.A decrease in the dielectric constant and loss has been recorded after ion beam exposure with reduction in ac conductivity *** contribution of grain and grain boundary effect in conduction mechanism has been addressed using Nyquist *** the samples demonstrate a lossy ferroelectric loop which shows a clear modification upon *** role of structural defects modifying the physical properties of the composite materials is discussed in this work.

In this paper, we propose a new time dependent model for solving total variation (TV) minimization problem in image denoising. The main idea is to apply a priori smoothness on the solution image. This is a constrained optimization type of numerical algorithm for removing noise from images. The constraints are imposed using Lagrange’s multipliers and the solution is obtained using the gradient projection method. 1D and 2D numerical experimental results by explicit numerical schemes are discussed.

Improving and sustaining successful public health interventions relies increasingly on the ability to identify the key components of an intervention that are effective, to identify for whom the intervention is effective, and to identify under what conditions the intervention is effective. Bayesian probability an “advanced” experimental design framework of methodology is used in the study to develop a systematic tool that can assist health care managers and field workers in measuring effectiveness of health program intervention and systematically assess the components of programs to be applied to design program improvements and to advocate for resources. The study focuses on essential management elements of the health system that must be in place to ensure the effectiveness of IMNCI intervention. Early experiences with IMNCI implemented led to greater awareness of the need to improve drug delivery, support for effective planning and management at all levels and address issues related to the organization of work at health facilities. The efficacy of IMNCI program from the experience of experts and specialists working in the state is 0.67 and probability of effective- ness of all management components in the study is 58%. Overall the standard assessment tool used predicts success of around 39% for the IMNCI intervention implemented in current situation in Rajasthan. Training management component carried the highest weight-age of 21% with 73% probability of being effective in the state. Human resource management has weight-age of 13% with 53% probability of being effective in current scenario. Monitoring and evaluation carried a weight-age of 11% with only 33% probability of being effective. Operational planning carried a weight-age of 9% with 100% probability of being effectively managed. Supply management carried a weight-age of 8% with zero probability of being effective in the current field scenario. In the study, each question that received low score identifies it

Nowadays, the size of database of any business organization is increasing and many of the companies are shifted the old structured database into the object oriented database. Due to increase of size of database complexity of database is increasing therefore, it is necessary to optimize the object oriented query response time from the complex object oriented database. In the present paper, a real case study of Life Insurance Corporation of India is taken and sample object oriented database is designed by the use of SQL Server 2008. A UML model is designed for computing the object oriented query response time. Table and graph are also represented for the computed records in five runs.

Objective:Conservative approaches in muscle-invasive bladder cancer(MIBC)have been evolved to avoid aggressive surgery,but are limited to elderly,frail,and patients medically unfit for *** study aimed to assess the response rate of neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NACT)before radiotherapy(RT)in MIBC ***:Forty patients with urothelial carcinoma of stage T2-T4a,N0,M0 were enrolled between November 2013 and November 2015,and treated with three cycles of NACT with ***-NACT response was assessed using Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(RECIST)*** who achieved complete response(CR)and partial response(PR)>50%were treated with radical RT,and those who had PR50%or CR,and were treated with ***(12.5%)patients who had PR<50%,SD,or PD underwent *** patients who received radiation showed CR after 6 *** follow-up was 43 months(range:10-66 months)and median overall survival(OS)was not ***-year OS,local control,and disease-free survival were 70.1%,60.9%,50.6%,respectively,and 50%of patients preserved their functioning ***-year OS rate was 88.9%in patients who achieved CR to NACT,73.1%in patients with PR≥50%and 40%in patients with PR<50%.Conclusion:NACT followed by RT provides a high probability of local response with bladder preservation in CR *** use of this treatment regimen in carefully selected patients may omit the need for morbid surgery.

We demonstrate a photon-sensitive,three-dimensional(3D)camera by active near-infrared illumination and fast time-of-flight *** uses picosecond pump pulses to selectively upconvert the backscattered photons according to their spatiotemporal modes via sum-frequency generation in a χ^(2) nonlinear crystal,which are then detected by an electron-multiplying CCD with photon sensitive *** such,it achieves sub-millimeter depth resolution,exceptional noise suppression,and high detection *** results show that it can accurately reconstruct the surface profiles of occluded targets placed behind highly scattering and lossy obscurants of14 optical depth(round trip),using only milliwatt illumination *** technique may find applications in biomedical imaging,environmental monitoring,and wide-field light detection and ranging.

The Neoarchean Bundelkhand greenstone sequences at Mauranipur and Babina areas within the Bundelkhand Gneissic Complex preserve a variety of magmatic rocks such as komatiitic basalts, basalts,felsic volcanic rocks and high-Mg andesites belonging to the Baragaon, Raspahari and Koti *** intrusive and extrusive komatiitic basalts are characterized by low SiO_2(39-53 wt.%), high MgO(18-25 wt.%).moderately high Fe_2O_3(7.1-11.6 wt.%), Al_2O_3(4.5-12.0 wt.%), and TiO_2(0.4-1.23 wt.%)with super to subchondritic(Gd/Yb)N ratios indicating garnet control on the melts. The intrusive komatiitic suite of Ti-enriched and Al-depleted type possesses predominant negative Eu and positive Nb, Ti and Y anomalies. The chemical composition of basalts classifies them into three types with varying SiO_2, TiO_2, MgO, Fe_2O_3, Al_2O_3 and CaO. At similar SiO_2 content of type Ⅰ and Ⅲ basalts, the type II basalts show slightly high Al_2O_3 and Fe_2O_3 contents. Significant negative anomalies of Nb, Zr, Hf and Ti, slightly enriched LREE with relatively flat HREE and low ∑REE contents are observed in type Ⅰ and Ⅱ basalts. TypeⅢ basalts show high Zr/Nb ratios(9.8-10.4), TiO_2(1.97-2.04 wt.%), but possess strikingly flat Zr, Hf, Y and Yb and are uncontaminated. Andesites from Agar and Koti have high SiO_2(55-64 wt.%), moderate TiO_2(0.4-0.7 wt.%), slightly low Al_2O_3(7-11.9 wt.%), medium to high MgO(3-8 wt.%) and CaO contents(10-17 wt.%). Anomalously high Cr, Co and Ni contents are observed in the Koti rhyolites. Tholeiitic to calc alkaline affinity of mafic-felsic volcanic rocks and basalt-andesite dacite-rhyolite differentiation indicate a mature arc and thickened crust during the advanced stage of the evolution of Neoarchean Bundelkhand greenstone belt in a convergent tectonic setting where the melts were derived from partial melting of thick basaltic crust metamorphosed to amphibolite-eclogite facies.
