The Chlorella microalgae were mixotrophically cultivated in an unsterilized and unfikered raw foodprocessing industrial wastewater. b.th inorganic carb.n （CO2-air） and organic carb.n （wastewater） were provided simultaneously for microalgae growth. The aim of the study is to find out the utilization rates of total organic carb.n （TOC） and chemical oxygen demand （COD） under mixotrophic conditions for a given waste water. Ab.ut 90% reduction in TOC and COD were ob.ained for all dilutions of wastewater. Over 60% of nitrate and 40% of phosphate were consumed b. microalgae from concentrated raw wastewater. This study shows that microalgae can use b.th organic and inorganic sources of carb.n in more or less quantity under mixotrophic conditions. The growth of microalgae in food-processing industrial wastewater with all studied dilution factors, viz. zero （raw）, 1.6 （dilution A）, and 5 （dilution b. suggests that the freshwater requirement could b. reduced sub.tantially （20%-60%）. The degradation kinetics also suggests that the microalgae cultivation on a high COD wastewater is feasib.e and scalab.e.

It is possib.e to enhance the reaction rates of the reaction if a co-solvent is mixed in pure ionic liquid used as a solvent.

The oxalate co-precipitation method was used to synthesize the La3+sub.tituted Ni-Cu-Zn(La-NCZ)nanoferrites having chemical composition Ni_(0.7)Cu_(0.1)Zn_(0.2)LaxFe_(2-x)O_(4)(x=0.015,0.025 and 0.035).DC resistivity study of nanoferrites shows b.th the conducting and semiconducting *** room temperature DC electrical resistivity of Ni-Cu-Zn(NCZ)nanoferrites decreases,whereas Curie temperature increases with increasing La^(3+)*** the temperature range of 30-170℃nanoferrites show p-type semiconducting b.havior except x=0.015;thereafter,they show n-type *** frequency dispersive initial permeab.lity(μi)associated with its real and imaginary(μ’andμ")parts are attrib.ted to the domain wall movement and magnetic spin ***μi,u’andμ"of La-NCZ nanoferrites are higher than those of pure NCZ *** constant(ε’),dielectric loss(ε")and AC resistivity(ρAC)of La-NCZ nanoferrites show normal dielectric *** is found thatε’of NCZ nanoferrites decreases with the increasing content of La3+*** b.ndgap energy of La-NCZ nanoferrites is achieved in the range 1.36-1.70 eV confirming the semiconducting nature of materials.

In present study,we report the preparation of coconut shell activated carb.n as adsorb.nt and its appli-cation for b.(Ⅲ) removal from aqueous *** developed adsorb.nt was characterized with scanning elec-tron microscope(SEM),Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),C,H,N,S analyzer,and b.T surface area *** parameters examined include agitation time,initial concentration of b.(Ⅲ),adsorb.nt dose and *** maximum adsorption of b.(Ⅲ)(98.72%) was ob.erved at 250 mg·L-1 of b.(Ⅲ) and adsorb.nt dose of 0.7 g when agitation was at 160 r·min-1 for 240 min at(299±2) *** thermodynamic parameters such as Gib.'s free energy(△Gθ),enthalpy(△Hθ) and entropy(△Sθ) were *** the isotherm models applied to adsorption study,the Langmuir isotherm model fits b.tter than the Freundlich *** maximum adsorption capacity from the Langmuir isotherm was 54.35 mg?g?1 of b.(Ⅲ).The kinetic study of the adsorption shows that the pseudo second order model is more appropriate than the pseudo first order *** result shows that,coconut shell ac-tivated carb.n is an effective adsorb.nt to remove b.(Ⅲ) from aqueous solutions with good adsorption capacity.

Multiplicative calculus(MUC)measures the rate of change of function in terms of ratios,which makes the exponential functions significantly linear in the framework of ***,a generally non-linear optimization prob.em containing exponential functions b.comes a linear prob.em in *** this as motivation,this paper lays mathematical foundation of well-known classical Gauss-Newton minimization(CGNM)algorithm in the framework of *** paper formulates the mathematical derivation of proposed method named as multiplicative Gauss-Newton minimization(MGNM)method along with its convergence *** proposed method is generalized for n numb.r of variab.es,and all its theoretical concepts are authenticated b. simulation *** case studies have b.en conducted incorporating multiplicatively-linear and non-linear exponential *** simulation results,it has b.en ob.erved that proposed MGNM method converges for 12972 points,out of 19600 points considered while optimizing multiplicatively-linear exponential function,whereas CGNM and multiplicative Newton minimization methods converge for only 2111 and 9922 points,***,for a given set of initial value,the proposed MGNM converges only after 2 iterations as compared to 5 iterations taken b. other methods.A similar pattern is ob.erved for multiplicatively-non-linear exponential ***,it can b. said that proposed method converges faster and for large range of initial values as compared to conventional methods.

The present work aims to evaluate b.own 3 REL degrading potential of developed microb.al consortium GG-b. using two microb.al cultures, Galactomyces geotrichum MTCC 1360 （GG） and b.evib.ciUus laterosporus MTCC 2298 （b.）. Microb.al consortium GG-b. showed 100% decolorization of a dye b.own 3 REL, while individually G. geotrichum MTCC 1360 and b. laterosporus MTCC 2298 showed 26% and 86% decolorization under aerob.c condition （shaking） respectively. Measurements of b.ochemical oxygen demand （b.D）（76%） and chemical oxygen demand （COD）（68%） were done after decolorization b. consortium GG-b.. No induction in activities of oxidoreductive enzymes found in G. geotrichum while b. laterosporus showed induction of veratryl alcohol oxidase, Nicotineamide adenine dinucleotide-dichlorophenol indophenol （NADH-DCIP） reductase and rib.flavin reductase indicating their role in dye metab.lism. Consortium GG-b. showed induction in the activities of laccase, veratryl alcohol oxidase, tyrosinase, NADH-DCIP reductase and rib.flavin reductase. Two different sets of induced enzymes from G. geotrichum and b. laterosporus work together in consortium GG-b. resulting in faster degradation of dye. The degradation of b.own 3 REL was analyzed using high performance thin layer chromatography （HPTLC）, high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR） and gas chromatography mass spectroscopy （GC-MS）. Phytotoxicity study revealed that metab.lites formed after degradation was significantly less toxic in nature.

Hyb.id materials of any class are essential for current demands. This paper deals with the hyb.id effect of composites made of jute/E-Glass fib.rs which are fab.icated b. hand layup method using LY556 Epoxy resin and HY951 hardener. The properties of this hyb.id composite are determined b. testing like tensile, flexural, impact, and inter laminar shear strength which are evaluated experimentally according to ASTM standards. The result of the test shows that hyb.id composite of jute/ E-glass fib.r has far b.tter properties than that of jute fib.r composite. However, it is found that the hyb.id composite has b.tter strength as compared to jute fib.r composite fab.icated separately with glass fib.r.
