Effects of compost particle size,moisture content and binding agents on co-compost pellet properties

Composting is one of the sustainable answers for the management of organic municipal *** nature of loose compost is one of the main drawbacks in promoting compost in agriculture and pelletization of compost can offset these *** this study,the optimum conditions in a die and roller pelletizer to form pellets with desirable properties;bulk density,compressive strength,pellet length and disintegration ability with compost particles of different mesh sizes(2.5,3.5,5 mm),moisture contents(25%,30%,35%,40%,45%),different amounts and types of binding agents(1%,2%,3%by weight of Rice Flour(RF),Lime,Rock Phosphate(RP))were *** increased the bulk density of *** with≤5 mm particles and 25%moisture content resulted pellets with the highest compressive strength and a higher percentage of long ***,the tested properties varied with the type and the amount binding agents used with *** was not observed in pellets free of binding agents during the tested period but binding agents enhanced *** machine efficiency and production efficiency decreased with increased moisture in compost and increased with increased compost particle ***,increased amounts of binding agents in compost reduced the machine *** work shows that compost pelletizing with and without binding agents,enhanced properties of compost required in transportation,storage and application in agriculture.

Many songbirds produce song-flights;however,the function,vocal and motor characteristics,as well as the diel and seasonal variation of song-flight in songbirds remain not well ***,we studied two types of song-flight in male Black-headed Buntings(Emberiza melanocephala),the Moth—a standard,i.e.,perch song produced during a horizontal flight,and the Towering—a specifically structured song produced during a complex ascending and descending *** perch song,used during Moth flight,has already been described,here we provide the first description and sonogram representation of the more elaborate and less stereotyped Towering *** males started to perform Moth song-flights as soon as they arrived at the breeding site,Towering did not start before the female *** usually delivered spontaneous Moth song-flights before chasing rivals or undertaking aerial fights,suggesting Moth is directed towards conspecific males and serves as a threat ***,playback of conspecific perch songs triggered males to approach the loudspeaker with Moth *** Towering started after females arrived at the breeding site,suggesting the Towering is directed towards conspecific *** detected a seasonal difference in the peak Towering rate between forenoon and afternoon,suggesting that Towerings performed at different times of the day have different *** Towerings were strongly positively related to the number of fertile females at the breeding site,while afternoon Towerings peaked very early in the breeding season and coincided with the number of females at the breeding site before the onset of *** results provide evidence that birds can direct different types of song-flight towards different receivers and suggest the possibility that time of the day determines the context of the display,namely to attract social mates or solicit *** work is needed to account for the effect of between male vari

Enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma （EATCL） is a high grade, pleomorphic peripheral T-cell lymphoma usually with cytotoxic phenotypes. We describe a first case of patient with EATCL that is remarkable for its fulminant course and invasion of both kidneys manifested as acute renal failure. The patient was a 23 year old woman with a long history of celiac disease. she was presented with acute renal failure and enlarged mononuclear infiltrated kidneys. Diagnosis of tubuloi-nterstitial nephritis and polyserositis was confirmed with consecutive pulse doses of steroid therapy. After reco-very, she had disseminated disease two months later. Magnetic resonance imaging showed thickened intestine wall, extremely augmented kidneys, enlarged intra-abdominal lymph nodes with extra-luminal compression of common bile duct. Laparotomy with mesenterial adipous tissue and lymph glands biopsy was done. Consecutive pathophysiological and immunohistochemical analyses confirmed the diagnosis of EATCL： CD45RO＋, CD43＋, CD3＋. The revision of renal pathophysiology sub-stantiated the diagnosis. The patient received chemotherapy, but unfortunately she died manifesting signs of pulmonary embolism caused by tumor cells.

The properties of BaCe_(1−x)In_(x)O_(3−δ) (x = 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, _(0.25), 0.30, 0.35, and 0.40) as proton conducting electrolyte are examined. The dense electrolyte is formed after sintering at 1300 ℃ for 5 h in air. The samples with In content ≥ 25 mol% contain In_(2)O_(3) as a secondary phase. The highest total conductivity is around 5×10^(−3) s/cm for BaCe_(0.75)In_(0.25)O_(3−δ) in the wet hydrogen atmosphere at 700 ℃. After exposure to pure CO_(2) atmosphere at 700 ℃ for 5 h, the concentrations of at least 15 mol% In can completely suppress degradation of the electrolyte. The power density of Ni-BaCe_(0.75)In_(0.25)O_(3−δ)/BaCe_(0.75)In_(0.25)O_(3−δ)/LsCF-BaCe_(0.75)In_(0.25)O_(3−δ) fuel cell tested in wet hydrogen atmosphere reaches 264 mW/cm2 at 700 ℃. This result is an indication of stability and functionality of this electrolyte and its versatility in respect to type of fuel and performing environment.

The process of designing roundabouts is an iterative process through which, in several checks, the design elements of a roundabout get optimized. Existing regulations for roundabouts involve swept path analyses, sight distance analyses and speed analyses of vehicles passing through the roundabout. speed analyses are done mostly based on two models, Dutch and American. Each of these two models, in their own way takes into account design elements of the roundabouts, and the Us model also envisions the construction of vehicle paths through the roundabout. Main assumption of both models is that vehicle paths through roundabouts consist of few connected radii. Us models for path definition takes into account safety distances from marked lines and geometric elements（curbs） at the entrance and exit and through roundabout. Experimentally determined elements of the vehicle path through the roundabout, do not correspond to those recommendations. Comparison of the measured speed at the roundabouts and speed calculated according to aforementioned models at several roundabouts in Croatia, showed a significant difference. An experimental research was conducted as a first step in developing a new model for operating speed through roundabouts. The research aimed to define the basic path elements of vehicle movement in the roundabout at which the maximum speed is achieved. Results of the study are presented in this paper.

Caspian clouds(CCs)are formed between the southern coast of the Caspian sea and the Alborz *** purpose of this study is to identify characteristics of CCs using aerosol,cloud,and meteorological data from ModernEra Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications version 2(MERRA-2),Moderate Resolution Imaging spectroradiometer(MODIs),and ECMWF Reanalysis version 5(ERA5)during 2000–*** this period,we identified and investigated 636 days with *** results indicated that the frequency(%)of these clouds was higher in the summer than in other seasons because synoptic system activity varies between hot and cold *** hot season with the beginning of high-pressure subtropical Azores activity and the formation of a stable atmosphere in northern Iran leads to more frequent occurrence of *** clouds are mainly the low-and middle-level clouds in the region,e.g.,stratus and *** resulted in 13.9%of annual rainfall,and 55.9%and 18.7%of the summer and autumn rainfall,respectively,relative to total rainfall from all cloud types in the study *** the multivariate regression analysis,CC precipitation exhibited a strong positive relationship with the cloud water path(CWP),cloud optical thickness(COT),and cloud effective radius(CER).A comparison of the mean and standard deviation of aerosol optical thickness(AOT)and aerosol index(AI)for CC and non-CC days did not show a significant *** of the synoptic patterns showed that the main factors in the formation of CCs are the specific environmental conditions of the region and the orographic lift of stable air *** Hybrid single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory(HYsPLIT)model indicated that the source of moisture for the formation of CCs was largely the Caspian sea.

Patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NAsH)are at higher risk of progression to advanced stages of fibrosis,cirrhosis,hepatocellular carcinoma and other end-stage liver disease *** addressing treatment of NAsH,we have limited approved options,and the mainstay of therapy is lifestyle *** research and revelation in the field of pathogenesis of NAsH has offered new possibilities of treatment and emerging new drugs that are being tested currently in numerous preclinical and clinical *** drugs target almost all steps in the pathogenesis of NAsH to improve insulin sensitivity,glucose and lipid metabolism,to inhibit de novo lipogenesis and delivery of lipids to the liver,and to influence apoptosis,inflammation and *** NAsH is a multifactorial disease,in the future we could identify the predominating pathological mechanism and,by choosing the most appropriate specific medication,tailor the treatment for every patient individually.
