Intensity-specific considerations for exercise for patients with inflammatory bowel disease

The rising prevalence of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)necessitates that patients be given increased access to costeffective interventions to manage the *** is a non-pharmacologic intervention that advantageously affects clinical aspects of IBD,including disease activity,immune competency,inflammation,quality of life,fatigue,and psychological *** is well established that exercise performed at low-to-moderate intensity across different modalities manifests many of these diseased-related benefits while also ensuring patient *** less is known about higher-intensity *** aim of this review is to summarize findings on the relationship between strenuous exercise and IBD-related *** healthy adults,prolonged strenuous exercise may unfavorably alter a variety of gastrointestinal(GI)parameters including permeability,blood flow,motility,and neuro-endocrine *** intensity-and gut-specific changes are hypothesized to worsen IBD-related clinical presentations such as diarrhea,GI bleeding,and colonic *** this,there also exists the evidence that higher-intensity exercise may positively influence microbiome as well as alter the inflammatory and immunomodulatory changes seen with *** findings recognize that safety for IBD patients doing prolonged strenuous exercise is no more compromised than those doing lower-intensity *** with prolonged,strenuous exercise may be achieved with adjustments including adequate hydration,nutrition,drug avoidance,and careful attention to patient history and *** work is needed to better understand this intensity-dependent relationship so that guidelines can be created for IBD patients wishing to participate in high-intensity exercise or sport.

With the rapid growth of the Internet,the copyright protection problem occurs frequently,and unauthorized copying and distributing of geospatial data threaten the investments of data *** watermarking is a possible solution to solve this ***,watermarking causes modifications in the original data resulting in distortion and affects accuracy,which is very important to geospatial vector *** article provides distortion assessment of watermarked geospatial data using wavelet-based invisible *** wavelets at different wavelet decomposition levels are used for accuracy evaluation with the help of error measures such as maximum error and mean square *** correlation is used as a similarity index between original and extracted *** is observed that the increase in the strength of embedding increases visual *** wavelet outperforms the other wavelets,and the third wavelet decomposition level is proved to be optimal level for watermarking.

Objective: To study the outcome of In vitro fertilization/intra cytoplasmic sperm injection and embryotransfer in infertile patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome and their effects with increasingage and weight. Materials and Methods: This Retrospective study was conducted in Department of Reproduction, Union hospital,Tongji Medical Collge, Huazhong University of Science and Technology （HUST） from January2008to December2010. The study consists of108patients with PCOS （without any othercause of infertility） who underwent IVF/ICSI-ET treatment in our centre. The control groupconsists of120patients with only tubal block infertility. Our study was based on the first cycleof IVF/ICSI-ET in two groups. All the patients had treated with the down regulation andovarian stimulation with long protocol. The dosage of gonadotrophin, clinical pregnancy rate,live birth rate, spontaneous abortion rate, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome （OHSS） rateand effect of pregnancy with increasing age and weight were analyzed and comparedbetween the two groups. Results The result of this research showed that there are significant difference in overall pregnancyrate between PCOS and tubal factor groups （26.85%（29/108） and43.33%（52/120） p＜0.0094）respectively. The pregnancy rate with different treatment modalities are different in bothgroups. The pregnancy rate with IVF-ET is statistically significant (PCOS35.53%（21/76） andTubal factor45.84%（44/96, p＜0.0145） but the ICSI-ET treatment is not significant. Live birthrate was similar in both groups. Complications were seen in the form of OHSS, abortion andectopic pregnancy. The rate of abortion and ectopic pregnancy were statistically notsignificant while as, the rate of OHSS is much higher in PCOS than tubal factor group （PCOS38.89%and Tubal factor1.6%p＜0.0001）. In a defined time cycle, the number of rFSHampoules was higher for the tubal factor group （18.42±7.83versus14.49±3.76, p ＜0.0001） butPCOS required more number of ampoules

Extraction of aluminium as aluminium sulphate from thermal power plant fly ashes

Valuable metal extraction technology from thermal power plant fly ash is *** the present study,aluminium is extracted from fly ash as highly pure aluminium sulphate(>99.0%)by leaching with sulphuric acid,followed by pre-concentration and successive *** types of fly ashes from different sources,i.e.,Talcher Thermal Power Station(TTPS)and Vedanta Aluminium Company Limited(VAL)were chosen for comparative study on the extraction of aluminium as aluminium *** product is characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Purity of aluminium sulphate was also investigated by inductively coupled plasma?optical emission spectrometry(ICP?OES).The extraction efficiency of aluminium depends on the varied solid-to-liquid ratio(fly ash:18mol/L H2SO4,g/mL)and particle size of fly ***-chemical analysis indicates that the obtained product is Al2(SO4)3·18H2O,having low iron content(0.08%).
