Beta catenin has been well documented in previous studies to be involved in non small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Beta catenin abundance and transcriptional activity are significantly regulated by several *** it is well known that Akt and Gsk3 beta are respective positive and negative regulators of beta catenin,however,no single study has so far documented how the expression and activity of both positive as well as negative regulators play favorable role on beta catenin expression and activity in *** this study,we compared expression and activity of beta catenin and its regulators in normal lung cell WI38 and NSCLC cell A549 by western blot,qRT-PCR and luciferase *** observed that beta catenin positive regulators(Akt and Hsp90)and negative regulators(Gsk3 beta and microRNA-214)have differential expression and/or activity in NSCLC cell *** the differentially altered statuses of both the positive and negative regulators rendered cumulative positive effect on beta catenin expression and activity in *** study thus suggests that chemotherapeutic modulations of regulating factors are crucial when abrogation and/or inhibition of key oncogenic proteins are necessary for cancer chemotherapy.

Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy are among the leading causes of severe maternal morbidity and mortality, particularly in developing countries. Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy are among the leading causes of severe maternal morbidity and mortality, particularly in developing countries, maternal hypocalcaemia being a factor favouring the onset of arterial hypertension during pregnancy. The aim was to determine the maternal and perinatal prognosis of patients with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy as a function of serum ionised calcium levels. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional analytical study of 114 patients with arterial hypertension during pregnancy or during pregnancy or in the postpartum period at the HGR/Panzi from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2022, text was entered using Microsoft Office Word 2010 and the tables were analysed using Excel 2010. The data was analysed using SPSS version 20.0 and Stata 14.0. The associations of the variables were calculated using Pearson's chi-square test, with a significance threshold set at a value of p < 0.05. Study of risk factors, Odds ratios and their confidence intervals were estimated in a univariate analysis. The most determining factors were identified by multivariate analysis using the Forward conditional logistic regression model. Results: The mean gestational age was 34.43 ± 4.327 amenorheas weeks, 46.6% of patients had a vaginal delivery, 66.65% of which were indicated for maternal prognosis, maternal complications were associated with maternal hypocalcaemia in 81, 82% (P = 0.043) and an OR = 3.255 (P = 0.0158) threefold risk that the patient presenting with a complication is likely to be in a state of hypocalcaemia at 95% confidence index, and fetal prognosis was not significantly related to maternal calcaemia. With the emerging migration of automotive and other distributed control platforms from federated to integrated architectures, the need for optimal utilization of ECU （electronic control unit） bandwidth will become a key requirement in the implementation of embedded control features. This paper advocates the partitioning of the operating space of the plant and the use of minimal sampling rates in each partition without compromising the overall quality of control. At the heart of the proposed methodology are our algorithms that enable the choice of the partitions and the sampling rate for each partition. We demonstrate the efficacy of our methods on two case studies, namely an anti-lock braking system and a lane departure warning system. We also study the use of a supervisory controller that controls the switching among sampling rates for a combination of the two features.

AIM： To evaluate the usefulness of stooI-PCR test for diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori （H pylon） infection in pediatric populations. METHODS： Based on endoscopic features （including nodular gastritis, erosive duodenitis and ulcer） and/or a positive rapid urease test （RUT） obtained during endoscopy, 28 children from a group of children admitted to the Children＇s Medical Center of Tehran for persistent upper gastrointestinal problems were selected to compare biopsy-based tests with stool- PCR. Their gastric activity and bacterial density were graded by the updated Sydney system, and their first stool after endoscopy was stored at -70℃. Biopsies were cultured on modified campy-blood agar plates and identified by gram-staining, biochemical tests, and PCR. Two methods of phenol-chloroform and boiling were used for DNA extraction from H pylori isolates. Isolation of DNA from stool was performed using a stool DNA extraction kit （Bioneer Inc, Korea）. PCR was performed using primers for detection of vacA, cagA, and 16srRNA genes in both isolates and stool. RESULTS： Sixteen out of 28 child patients （57%） were classified as H pylori positive by biopsy-based tests, of which 11 （39%） were also positive by stool- PCR. Sensitivity and specificity of stool-PCR was 62.5% and 92.3% respectively. H pylori was observed in histological sections for 10 out of 11 stool-positive patients. Association was observed between higher score of H pylori in histology and positivity of stool- PCR. Also association was observed between the more severe form of gastritis and a positive stool-PCR. CONCLUSION： Association between higher score of H pylori in histology and a positive stool-PCR make it a very useful test for detection of H pylori active infection in children. We also suggest that a simple stool-PCR method can be a useful test for detection of Hpylori virulence genes in stool.

This paper explores the capability of modified differential evolution （MDE） technique for solving the reactive power dispatch （RPD） problem. The proposed method is based on the basic differential evolution （DE） technique with a few modifications made into it. DE is one of the strongest optimization techniques though it suffers from the problem of slow convergence while global minima appear. The proposed modifications ate tried to resolve the problem. The RPD problem mainly defines loss minimization with stable voltage profile. To solve the RPD problem, the generator bus voltage, transformer tap setting and shunt capacitor placements are controlled by the MDE approach. In this paper, IEEE 14-bus and IEEE 30-bus systems are chosen for MDE implementation. The applied modification show much improved result in comparison to normal DE technique. Comparative study with other softcomputing technique including DE validates the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The reactive power dispatch （RPD） problem is a very critical optimization problem of power system which minimizes the real power loss of the transmission system. While solving the said problem, generator bus voltages and transformer tap settings are kept within a stable operating limit. In connection with the RPD problem, solving reactive power is compensated by incorporating shunt capacitors. The particle swarm optimization （PSO） technique is a swarm intelligence based fast working optimization method which is chosen in this paper as an optimization tool. Additionally, the constriction factor is included with the conventional PSO technique to accelerate the convergence property of the applied optimization tool. In this paper, the RPD problem is solved in the case of the two higher bus systems, i.e., the IEEE 57-bus system and the IEEE ll8-bus system. Furthermore, the result of the present paper is compared with a few optimization technique based results to substantiate the effectiveness of the proposed study.
