Taking inspiration from beautiful colors in nature,structural colors produced from nanostructured metasurfaces have shown great promise as a platform for bright,highly saturated,and high-resolution *** plasmonic and dielectric materials have been employed to produce static colors that fulfil the required criteria for high-performance color printing,however,for practical applications in dynamic situations,a form of tunability is *** of the additive color palette of red,green,and blue enable the expression of further colors beyond the three primary colors,while the simultaneous intensity modulation allows access to the full color ***,we demonstrate an electrically tunable metasurface that can represent saturated red,green,and blue pixels that can be dynamically and continuously controlled between on and off states using liquid *** use this to experimentally realize ultrahigh-resolution color printing,active multicolor cryptographic applications,and tunable pixels toward high-performance full-color reflective displays.

The complex mechanism of degenerative diseases and the non-specific modulation of regenerative targets aretopics that need to be elucidated in order to advance the use of stem cells in improvement of neurodegenerative *** pre-transplantation through post-transplantation, there are many changes in the conditions, both inside andoutside of the stem cells that have not been carefully considered. This has hindered development in the field of celltherapy and regeneration. This viewpoint highlights the potential implications of intracellular and extracellularalterations of stem cells in transplanted areas at risk of neurodegenerative disease.

Prevalence of upper gastrointestinal bleeding risk factors among the general population and osteoarthritis patients

AIM To assess the prevalence of possible risk factors of upper gastrointestinal bleeding(UGIB) and their agegroup specific trend among the general population and osteoarthritis *** We utilized data from the National Health InsuranceService that included claims data and results of the national health check-up program. Comorbid conditions(peptic ulcer, diabetes, liver disease, chronic renal failure, and gastroesophageal reflux disease), concomitant drugs(aspirin, clopidogrel, cilostazol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, steroid, anticoagulants, and SSRI), personal habits(smoking, and alcohol consumption) were considered as possible UGIB risk factors. We randomly imputed the prevalence of infection in the data considering the age-specific prevalence of Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) infection in Korea. The prevalence of various UGIB risk factors and the age-group specific trend of the prevalence were identified. Prevalence was compared between osteoarthritis patients and *** A total of 801926 subjects(93855 osteoarthritis patients) aged 20 and above were included. The prevalence of individual and concurrent multiple risk factors became higher as the age increased. The prevalence of each comorbid condition and concomitant drug were higher in osteoarthritis patients. Thirty-five point zero two percent of the overall population and 68.50% of osteoarthritis patients had at least one or more risk factors of UGIB. The prevalence of individual and concurrent multiple risk factors in younger age groups were also substantial. Furthermore, when personal habits(smoking, and alcohol consumption) and H. pylori infection were included, the prevalence of concurrent multiple risk factors increased greatly even in younger age *** Prevalence of UGIB risk factors was high in elderly population, but was also considerable in younger population. The development of effective synthetic routes is important to manifest proper nature of specific ***-situ electrochemical functionalization possesses great advantages over conventional routes,especially facile way and leading to reaching elaborate sites of functional ***,we demonstrate the preparation of functionalized carbons by in-situ electrochemical reduction in an argon atmosphere for application in low-cost,environmentally benign,and high-performance oxygen-electrodes for non-aqueous Li-O2 batteries.A Li-O2 battery with functionalized carbon shows a high discharge capacity(100 times that of pristine carbon),high power and cycling *** outstanding performance is attributed to the high O2 affinity of the functionalized carbon surface that facilitates the formation of soluble and diffusible superoxide intermediates by the reduction of the remaining O2 competing with surface growth for Li2O2 formation.

Colonic mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma identified by chromoendoscopy

Colonic mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphomas are a rare occurrence and the definitive treatment has not been established. Solitary or multiple, elevated or polypoid lesions are the usual appearances of MALT lymphoma in the large intestine and sometimes the surface may reveal abnormal vascularity. Herein, we report a case of MALT lymphoma and review the relevant literature. Upon colonoscopy, a suspected pathologic lesion was observed in the proximal transverse colon. The lesion could be distinguished more prominently after using narrow-band imaging mode and indigo carmine-dye spraying chromoendoscopy. Histopathologic examination of this biopsy specimen revealed lymphoepithelial lesions with diffuse proliferation of atypical lymphoid cells effacing the glandular architecture and centrocyte-like cells infiltrating the lamina propria. Immunohistochemical analyses showed that tumor cells were positive for CD20 and Bcl-2e, and negative for CD10, CD23, and Bcl-6. According to Ann-Arbor staging system, the patient had stage IIE. A partial colectomy with dissection of the paracolic lymph nodes was performed. Until now, there is no recurrence of lymphoma at follow-up.

Complete peritonectomy and intraperitoneal chemotherapy for recurrent rectal cancer with peritoneal metastasis

A 68-year-old man underwent laparoscopic low anterior resection for rectal carcinoma in December *** 19 mo after the operation,he developed recurrent rectal cancer with peritoneal metastasis. In September 2008,he subsequently underwent a laparotomy with a peritonectomy,omentectomy, splenectomy,and a Hartmann *** intraperitoneal oxaliplatin 750 mg was administered. The patient was discharged with no postoperative complications and has been well with postoperative FOLFOX chemotherapy.

Use of NiO/SiO_2 catalysts for toluene total oxidation:Catalytic reaction at lower temperatures and repeated regeneration

We deposited NiO via atomic layer deposition on mesoporous SiO2 particles with diameters of several hundred micrometers and a mean mesopore size of -14 *** was deposited within the shell region of mesoporous SiO2 particles with a shell thickness of -11 *** annealed the as-prepared NiO/SiO2 at 450 and 600℃,*** two samples were used as catalysts for the uptake of toluene molecules and their oxidative conversion to *** sample annealed at450℃ was generally more reactive in toluene uptake and its subsequent conversion to *** the NiO/SiO2 annealed at 450℃ was exposed to toluene vapor at 160℃ and then heated to 450℃,CO2 was emitted with almost no toluene *** suggest that our catalysts can be used as building blocks for odor removal devices that operate below 200℃.These catalysts can be regularly regenerated at -450℃.

Risk factors for immediate post-operative fatal recurrence after curative resection of hepatocellular carcinoma

AIM： To investigate the clinicopathological risk factors for immediate post-operative fatal recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）, which may have practical implication and contribute to establishing high risk patients for pre- or post-operative preventive measures against HCC recurrence. METHODS： From June 1994 to May 2004, 269 patients who received curative resection for HCC were reviewed. Of these patients, those who demonstrated diffuse intrahepatic or multiple systemic recurrent lesions within 6 mo after surgery were investigated （fatal recurrence group）. The remaining patients were designated as the control group, and the two groups were compared for clinicopathologic risk factors. RESULTS： Among the 269 patients reviewed, 30 patients were enrolled in the fatal recurrence group. Among the latter, 20 patients showed diffuse intrahepatic recurrence type and 10 showed multiple systemic recurrence type. Multivariate analysis between the fatal recurrence group and control group showed that preoperative serum alpha-fetoprotein （AFP） level was greater than 1 000 μg/L （P= 0.02; odds ratio = 2.98）, tumor size greater than 6.5 cm （P= 0.03; OR= 2.98）, and presence of microvascular invasion （P= 0.01; OR=4.89） were the risk factors in the fatal recurrence group. The 48.1% of the patients who had all the three risk factors and the 220 of those who had two risk factors experienced fatal recurrence within 6 mo after surgery. CONCLUSION： Three distinct risk factors for immediate post-operative fatal recurrence of HCC after curative resection are pre-operative serum AFP level 〉 1 000 μg/L,tumor size〉6.5 cm, and microvascular invasion. The high risk patients with two or more risk factors should be the candidates for various adjuvant clinical trials.

Duodenal perforation during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) is a rare complication,but it has a relatively high mortality *** diagnosis and prompt management are key factors for the successful treatment of ERCP-related *** management of perforation can initially be conservative in cases resulting from sphincterotomy or guide wire ***,the current standard treatment for duodenal free wall perforation is surgical ***,several case reports of endoscopic closure techniques using endoclips,endoloops,or fully covered metal stents have been *** describe four cases of iatrogenic duodenal bulb or lateral wall perforation caused by the scope tip that occurred during ERCP in tertiary referral *** the cases were simply managed by endoclips under transparent capassisted *** on the available evidence and our experience,endoscopic closure was a safe and feasible method even for duodenoscope-induced *** results suggest that endoscopists may be more willing to use this treatment.

Hyper-connectivity in Industry 4.0 has resulted in not only a rapid increase in the amount of information,but also the expansion of areas and assets to be *** terms of information security,it has led to an enormous economic cost due to the various and numerous security solutions used in protecting the increased ***,it has caused difficulties in managing those issues due to reasons such as mutual interference,countless security events and logs’data,*** this security environment,an organization should identify and classify assets based on the value of data and their security perspective,and then apply appropriate protection measures according to the assets’security classification for effective security *** there are still difficulties stemming from the need to manage numerous security solutions in order to protect the classified *** this paper,we propose an information classification management service based on blockchain,which presents and uses a model of the value of data and the security *** records transactions of classifying assets and managing assets by each class in a distributed ledger of *** proposed service reduces assets to be protected and security solutions to be applied,and provides security measures at the platform level rather than individual security solutions,by using *** the rapidly changing security environment of Industry 4.0,this proposed service enables economic security,provides a new integrated security platform,and demonstrates service value.
