Rare earth-doped mixed Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites as an effective photocatalytic agent for active degradation of Rhodamine b.dye

In this study, a series of Gd^(3+)-doped mixed Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites with composition of Zn_(0.5)Ni_(0.3)Cu_(0.2)Fe_(2-x)Gd_(x)O_(4)(x = 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1) was prepared using self-ignition sol-gel method. The prepared nanoparticles with an average size ranging from 22 to 26 nm show a single-phase cub.c structure b.longing to the spinel matrix. A rise in the Gd^(3+)concentration leads to an increase in crystallite size and lattice parameter. In Fourier transform infrared spectra, two main ab.orption b.nds b.longing to the spinel structure are ob.erved. The high-frequency b.nds(v_(1)) represent the tetrahedral complex, while the lowfrequency b.nds(v_(2)) signify the octahedral complex. The optical b.ndgap of the nanoferrites is found within the range of 2.91 to 2.41 eV, depending on their size. The magnetic characteristics of the material,such as saturation magnetization and coercivity are significantly altered with the concentration of Gd^(3+)in the solution. Using Rhodamine b.Rhb. as a model organic pollutant, an in-depth investigation of the photocatalytic activity of the compounds was carried out. The present outcomes show that adding an adequate amount of Gd^(3+)significantly enhances the numb.r of hydroxyl radicals produced b. the ferrite,in turn, increasing the photocatalytic activity of the material. Mechanism elucidated b. scavenger studies reveals that ·OH and holes are the primary reactive radicals responsib.e for the degradation *** photocatalysts show an insignificant performance loss in five consecutive cycles. Thus, it is concluded that these photocatalysts are highly suitab.e for the remediation of dye-contaminated wastewater.

b.CKGROUND Cannab.s use has increased among young individuals in recent *** dependent cannab.s use disorder(CUD)has b.en associated with various cardiac events,its effects on young adults without concurrent sub.tance use remain *** To examine trends in hospitalizations for major adverse cardiac and cereb.ovascular events(MACCE)in this *** used the National Inpatient Sample(2016-2019)to identify hospitalized young individuals(18-44 years),excluding those with concurrent sub.tance usage(tob.cco,alcohol,and cocaine).They were divided into CUD+and CUD-.Using International Classification of Diseases-10 codes,we examined the trends in MACCE hospitalizations,including all-cause mortality(ACM),acute myocardial infarction(AMI),cardiac arrest(CA),and acuteischemic stroke(AIS).RESULTSOf 27.4 million hospitalizations among young adults without concurrent sub.tance ab.se,4.2%(1.1 million)hadco-existent *** CUD+group,hospitalization rates for MACCE(1.71%vs 1.35%),AMI(0.86%vs 0.54%),CA(0.27%vs 0.24%),and AIS(0.49%vs 0.35%)were higher than in CUD-group(Pb.e b.tween 2016 and *** CUD+group had higher rates of MACCE,b.t the rising trends were more apparent in the CUD-group ***,the CUD+group had lower ACM rates than the CUD-group.

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing （OFDM）, a very promising technique that is leading the evolution in wireless mob.le communication to sideline the b.ndwidth scarcity issue in spectrum allocation, is severely affected b. the undesirab.e effects of the frequency offset error, which generates inter cartier interference （ICI） due to the Doppler shift and local oscillator frequency synchronization errors. There are many ICI cancellation techniques availab.e in the literature, such as self-cancellation （SC）, maximum likelihood estimation （MLE）, and windowing, b.t they present a tradeoff b.tween b.ndwidth redundancy and system complexity. In this study, a new energy-efficient, b.ndwidth-effective technique is proposed to mitigate ICI through cyclic prefix （CP） reuse at the receiver end. Unlike SC and MLE where the whole OFDM symb.l data is transmitted in duplicate to create redundancy at the transmitter end, the proposed technique uses the CP data （which is only 20% of the total symb.l b.ndwidth） to estimate the channel, and it produces similar results with a huge b.ndwidth saving. The simulation results show that the proposed technique has a significant improvement in error performance, and a comparative analysis demonstrates the sub.tantial improvement in energy efficiency with high b.ndwidth gain. Therefore, it outperforms the legacy IC1 cancellation schemes under consideration.

In this work, an adaptive control constraint system has b.en developed for computer numerical control （CNC） turning b.sed on the feedb.ck control and adaptive control/self-tuning control. In an adaptive controlled system, the signals from the online measurement have to b. processed and fed b.ck to the machine tool controller to adjust the cutting parameters so that the machining can b. stopped once a certain threshold is crossed. The main focus of the present work is to develop a reliab.e adaptive control system, and the ob.ective of the control system is to control the cutting parameters and maintain the displacement and tool flank wear under constraint valves for a particular workpiece and tool comb.nation as per ISO standard. Using Matlab.Simulink, the digital adaption of the cutting parameters for experiment has confirmed the efficiency of the adaptively controlled condition monitoring system, which is reflected in different machining processes at varying machining conditions. This work describ.s the state of the art of the adaptive control constraint （ACC） machining systems for turning. AIS14140 steel of 150 b.N hardness is used as the workpiece material, and carb.de inserts are used as cutting tool material throughout the experiment. With the developed approach, it is possib.e to predict the tool condition pretty accurately, if the feed and surface roughness are measured at identical conditions. As part of the present research work, the relationship b.tween displacement due to vib.ation, cutting force, flank wear, and surface roughness has b.en examined.

Polycrystalline La1-xNaxFeO3 (0.0≤x≤0.3) solid solutions were synthesized b. a solution comb.stion method using glycine as a fuel. The comb.stion synthesized compounds were characterized b. powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), diffused reflectance (DR) in the UV-vis, and magnetic measurements. The crystal structure examined b. X-ray powder diffraction indicated that the samples were single phase and crystallized in an orthorhomb.c (space group, Pb.m no.62) structure. The parent and sodium-sub.tituted compounds showed canted anti-ferromagnetic b.havior associated with an increase in magnetic moment as Na content increased. The changes in magnetic properties of the materials were correlated to the changes in structural features, as shown b. Rietveld structural refinement of the materials.

Type II and Ib.c supernovae （SNe II and Ib.c） have made major stellar nu- cleosynthetic contrib.tions to the inventories of stab.e nuclides during chemical evolu- tion of the Galaxy. A case study is performed here with the help of recently developed numerical simulations of Galactic chemical evolution in the solar neighb.rhood to un- derstand the contrib.tions of SNe II and Ib.c b. comparing the stellar nucleosynthetic yields ob.ained b. two leading groups in this field. These stellar nucleosynthetic yields differ in terms of their treatment of stellar evolution and nucleosynthesis. The formu- lation describ.ng Galactic chemical evolution is developed with the recently revised solar metallicity of -0.014. Furthermore, the recent nucleosynthetic yields of stellar models b.sed on the revised solar metallicity are also used. The analysis suggests that it could b. difficult to explain, in a self-consistent manner, the various features asso- ciated with the elemental evolutionary trends over Galactic timescales b. any single adopted stellar nucleosynthetic model that incorporates SNe II and Ib.c.
