In order to explore new application opportunities of Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) ceramic composite by modifying the conventional ferroelectric properties of BST through La2O3 doping in BST matrix sintered at different temperature was investigated in this current study. Unadulterated Ba0.3Sr0.7TiO3 (BST) matrix was prepared from BaTiO3 (99.95%) and SrTiO3 (99.95%) taken in stoichiometric extents which later doped by La2O3 (99.99%) in varying extents (0.05 g, 0.10 g and 0.15 g) exploiting solid state reaction route. Doping caused drag effect for the penetration of impurities and sintering temperature helped the impurities migration to BST. Dielectric constant gets lower with rising of frequency, as electrons do not get enough time to polarize at high frequency. Dielectric constant and conductance are found maximum for the sample (0.1 g La2O3 doped BST) sintered at 1460°C and reverse is found in impedance analysis. These electrical properties showed visible frequency dependent response irrespective of sintering temperature and doping.

Aluminum wire mat reinforced polyester composite has been studied as an al-ternative structural material. The physical and mechanical properties of the composite such as tensile strength, flexural strength, water absorption, hardness illustrated the competency of the developed composite. It was found that per-cent water absorption is very low for the resultant studied composite. However, water absorption increased very slowly when metal mat layers were increased. Furthermore, mechanical strength of the composite was increased as mechanical properties: tensile strength, flexural strength, hardness and stiffness of this composite increased with the increase in the number of metal mat layer in the composite. This study suggested the use of this composite as an unbeaten al-ternative structural material to conventional materials.

Water electrolysis is considered as the most capable and old technology for hydrogen fuel preparation. Electrolysis needs external electrical energy through electrodes to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. An efficient electrolysis requires suitable electrodes to minimize potential drop. In this study Aluminium and Copper Coated Aluminium were used as different combination of Anodes and Cathodes to find out more efficient electrodes combination. NaCl solution in rain water was taken as electrolyte. Rain water was taken to avoid ionic impedance of tap water and expenses of distilled water. In this study, the most efficient electrode combination was Copper Coated Aluminium (anode)-Aluminium (cathode) and gave the highest efficiency of hydrogen production to about 11% at normal temperature for very low concentration of NaCl (0.051 M) which increased with temperature, up to 29% upon rising of temp to 60°C. It was showed that higher concentration of electrolyte would surge the efficiency significantly. If the supplied heat could be provided from any waste heat sources then this study would be more efficient. Medicinal plants, vegetables and fruits are the sources of huge number of bioactive lead/scaffolds with therapeutic and nutraceutical importance. Bioautography is a means of target-directed isolation of active molecules on chromatogram. Organic solvents employed in chromatographic separation process can be completely removed before biological detection because these solvents cause inactivation of enzymes and/or death of living organisms. They offer a rapid and easy identification of bioactive lead/scaffolds in complex matrices of plant extracts. Bioautography is a technique to isolate hit（s）/lead（s） by employing a suitable chromatographic process followed by a biological detection system. This review critically describes the methodologies to identify antimicrobial, antioxidant, enzyme inhibitor lead/scaffolds by employing bioautography. A significant number of examples have been incorporated to authenticate the methodologies.

AIM:To investigate the effect of lifestyle interventions in the non-pharmacological management of type 2 diabetes via a mechanistic ***:A randomized controlled trial was carried out on 60 type 2 diabetic male and female volunteers that fulfilled the inclusion criteria,with their proper consent and permission of the International Electrotechnical Commission for 1 year.30 patients were included in the test group and 30 patients in the control *** details,anthropometrical status,physical activity,food habits and blood glucose lipid profile of the volunteers were recorded at baseline,the test group was directed for lifestyle intervention and final blood glucose lipid data were collected at the end of one year of patient ***:After 1 year,the test group who had a lifestyle intervention was found to show a significant improvement in blood glucose lipid *** fasting plasma glucose level(FPG),postprandial plasma glucose level(PPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) and body mass index(BMI) values of the test group were reduced significantly,up to 145 ± 2.52,174 ± 2.59,6.3 ± 0.32 and 25 ± 0.41 respectively at the end of the study period,in comparison to the control group whereFPG,PPG,HbA1c and BMI values were 193 ± 3.36,249 ± 4.24,7.2 ± 0.42 and 26 ± 0.65 *** in the total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoproteins(HDL) and low-density lipoproteins(LDL) values of the test group was also remarkable in comparison to the control *** TC,TG,HDL and LDL values of the test group were reduced significantly,up to 149 ± 3.32,124 ± 2.16,58 ± 0.62 and 118 ± 2.31,***:The significant improvement in the blood glucose lipid profile of the test group after 1 year signifies the value of non-pharmacological management of type 2 diabetes via lifestyle intervention strategies.

Continuous revision of the histologic and stage-wise classification of lung cancer by the World Health Organization (WHO) provides the foundation for therapeutic advances by promoting molecular targeted and immunotherapies and ensuring accurate diagnosis. Cancer epidemiologic data provide helpful information for cancer prevention, diagnosis, and management, supporting health-care interventions. Global cancer mortality projections from 2016 to 2060 show that cancer will overtake ischemic heart diseases (IHD) as the leading cause of death (18.9 million) immediately after 2030, surpassing non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), which accounts for 85 percent of lung cancers. The clinical stage at the diagnosis is the main prognostic factor in NSCLC therapies. Advanced early diagnostic methods are essential as the initial stages of cancer show reduced mortality compared to the advanced stages. Sophisticated approaches to proper histological classification and NSCLC management have improved clinical efficiency. Although immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and targeted molecular therapies have refined the therapeutic management of late-stage NSCLC, the specificity and sensitivity of cancer biomarkers should be improved by focusing on prospective studies, followed by their use as therapeutic tools. The liquid biopsy candidates such as circulating tumor cells (CTCs), circulating cell-free tumor DNA (cfDNA), tumor educated platelets (TEP), and extracellular vesicles (EVs) possess cancer-derived biomolecules and aid in tracing: driver mutations leading to cancer, acquired resistance caused by various generations of therapeutic agents, refractory disease, prognosis, and surveillance.

不同温度体外循环对血栓栓塞的影响

目的：探讨不同温度体外循环中血小板血栓栓塞情况。方法：将１８只猪均分为３组行体外循环。Ｉ组，１８℃深低温停循环；Ｉ组，２８℃中度低温体外循环；ＩＩ组，３７℃常温体外循环。用铟１１１标记的自体血小板测定３组心、肺、脑、肝、脾、肾和体外循环设备的血栓栓塞情况。结果：在ＩＩ组和Ｉ组肾脏标记的的血小板含量较Ｉ组高，Ｐ＜０．０１。Ｉ、ＩＩ组标记的血小板在动脉微栓过滤器中的含量也较高，但与Ｉ组差异无显著性（Ｐ＝０．０６）。其他器官和设备３组间差异无显著性。结论：常温体外循环组肾血栓栓塞率较高，可能是灌注流量较高、血液与非生物材料接触机会多而产生较多微血栓所致。常温下肾血流量较高也可增加肾脏栓塞机会。深低温造成的血液粘稠度增高和血管收缩可能是深低温停循环组肾栓塞率高的原因。
