The present study aims to establish a literature review on intervention programs for executive functions(EFs)through the use of fundamental motor skills,from a neuropsychopedagogical perspective in subjects with Developmental Coordination Disorder(DCD).An exploratory study was carried out through an integrative literature *** research was carried out in the Scientific databases Electronic Library Online(SciELO),Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences(LILACS),Virtual Health Library-Psychology Brazil(BVSPSI),Electronic Journals of Psychology(PePSIC),in the periodicals available in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations(BDTD)and on the website of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel(CAPES).The covering publications took place from 2018 to 2023,14 articles were selected for *** literature review made it possible to create strategies for stimulating EF and Visuomotor Functions so that educators and other professionals can better deal with students with *** was perceived the need to carry out and develop more empirical research regarding the intervention of EFs and Visuomotor Functions by educators and professionals,with a greater sampling amplitude,to increase the number of studies that enable interventions both in children and in teenagers with DCD.

In view of the advancement in the understanding about the most diverse types of cancer and consequently a relentless search for a cure and increased survival rates of cancer patients,finding a therapy that is able to combat the mechanism of aggression of this disease is extremely ***,oncolytic viruses(OVs)have demonstrated great benefits in the treatment of cancer because it mediates antitumor effects in several *** can be used to infect cancer cells,especially over normal cells,to present tumor-associated antigens,to activate“danger signals”that generate a less immune-tolerant tumor microenvironment,and to serve transduction vehicles for expression of inflammatory and immunomodulatory *** success of therapies using OVs was initially demonstrated by the use of the genetically modified herpes virus,talimogene laherparepvec,for the treatment of *** this time,several OVs are being studied as a potential treatment for cancer in clinical ***,it is necessary to be aware of the safety and possible adverse effects of this therapy;after all,an effective treatment for cancer should promote regression,attack the tumor,and in the meantime induce minimal systemic *** this manuscript,we will present a current review of the mechanism of action of OVs,main clinical uses,updates,and future perspectives on this treatment.

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),a global emergency,is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus *** gold standard for its diagnosis is the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction,but considering the high number of infected people,the low availability of this diagnostic tool in some contexts,and the limitations of the test,other tools that aid in the identification of the disease are *** this scenario,imaging exams such as chest X-ray(CXR)and computed tomography(CT)have played important *** is useful for assessing disease progression because it allows the detection of extensive consolidations,besides being a fast and cheap *** the other hand,CT is more sensitive for detecting lung changes in the early stages of the disease and is also useful for assessing disease *** note,ground-glass opacities are the main COVID-19-related CT *** emission tomography combined with CT can be used to evaluate chronic and substantial damage to the lungs and other organs;however,it is an expensive *** ultrasound(LUS)has been shown to be a promising technique in that context as well,being useful in the screening and monitoring of patients,disease classification,and management related to mechanical ***,LUS is an inexpensive alternative available at the ***,magnetic resonance imaging,although not usually requested,allows the detection of pulmonary,cardiovascular,and neurological abnormalities associated with ***,it is important to consider the challenges faced in the radiology field in the adoption of control measures to prevent infection and in the follow-up of post-COVID-19 patients.

Introduction: Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is undoubtedly the commonest androgen disorder in woman’s fertile period and certainly one of the most prevalent causes of anovulation. The syndrome has an estimated prevalence of 4% - 10% among women of childbearing age. Previously, our group demonstrated the effect of gonadal white adipose tissue transplantation from wild-type lean and fertile female mice to isogenic obese anovulatory ob/ob mice. These complex metabolic interrelationships between obesity and PCOS have yet to be fully understood. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of gonadal white adipose tissue (WAT) transplantation from the wild-type lean and fertile female mice to isogenic obese, anovulatory mice (Lep ob/Lep ob) on the expression of glycolysis- and TCA cycle-related genes and obtain a general view of the glucose metabolism in the brain of these animals. Methods: Fifteen ob/ob mice ranging from 2 to 3 months of age were divided into 3 experimental groups: control normal weight (n = 5), obese control (n = 5) and obese 7 days leptin treated (n = 5). The whole brains of the mice were processed for RNA extraction. The samples from each group were used to perform PCR assays using an array plate containing 84 primers to study the glucose metabolism-related genes. Results: The glycolysis- and TCA cycle-related genes were significantly downregulated. The most significantly affected genes were as follows: for glycolysis (fold regulation with p < 0.05):Pgm1,Bpgm,Aldob, andEno3 (119, 45, 18, and 28 times less, respectively);and for the TCA cycle (fold regulation with p < 0.05):Cs,Idh3b, andMdh2 (84, 27, and 37 times less, respectively).Conclusion: The seven-day leptin treated mice show a decrease in the glucose metabolism. These results confirm the ability of the adipose tissue-derived hormone leptin to regulate early crucial genes that are related to glycolysis mechanisms and to the TCA cycle. Pain and Fatigue Perceptions of Patients with Systemic Autoimmune Myopathies before and during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period

Objective: To assess general pain and fatigue and their association with the disease status of patients with systemic autoimmune myopathies (SAMs), in terms of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on these parameters. Methods: This is a cross-sectional and prospective cohort study that included 72 patients with SAMs who were matched by age and gender with 67 healthy individuals. The patients engaged in an interview via a validity survey to measure disease status, and assess a visual analog scale (VAS) for pain and fatigue in two periods: before (phase I) and during (phase II) of the Brazilian COVID-19 pandemic. For cross-sectional analysis, patients’ data from phase I were compared to healthy individuals’ information, whereas for prospective analysis, data of the patients who were assessed in phase II were compared to the same patients’ data from phase I. Results: The patients had significantly more pain perception, comparable fatigue perception and fatigue severity, when compared to the healthy individuals. During the COVID-19 pandemic period, the disease activity, pain and fatigue perceptions, and fatigue severity remained unchanged. Despite this, the pain and fatigue perceptions correlated significantly with patients’ VAS, the patient health outcome, and fatigue severity. In addition, the pain perception correlated to creatine phosphokinase, whereas fatigue perceptions correlated to physicians' VAS. Conclusions: The study showed that patients with SAMs have significantly increased pain perceptions compared to healthy individuals. During the COVID-19 pandemic period, the pain and fatigue perceptions remained unchanged in patients with SAMs but they correlated to several disease status parameters.

The main objective of this research is to better understand the correlation between the constituent phases presented in the super-duplex steel SAF 2507 when it is under welding process by arc shielding gas MIG-MAG (Metal Inert Gas-Metal Active Gas). Conventional short circuit transfer and derivative STT (Surface Tension Transfer) using the 2594 welding wire as a filler metal and the effects on welding power in hardness, toughness and pitting corrosion are considered here. The results showed that the welding energy (Ew) changed the α/γ-phase’s balance and occasionally formed σ-phase in ferrite grain boundaries which led to changes in hardness, toughness and pitting corrosion resistance in molten zone (MZ), heat activated zone (HAZ) and metal base regions (MB). Furthermore, the increased amount of γ-phase improved the pitting corrosion resistance index (PRENγ) mainly in the MZ. This is due to decrease of α-phase fraction and formation of coarser grains, for higher welding energy. The toughness in the MZ decreased with less formation of γ-phase, coalescence of ferritic grains and localized formation of σ-phase, raising the hardness in the HAZ when the welding energy was lower.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection has affected the entire world,causing the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic since it was first discovered in Wuhan,China in December *** the clinical presentation of the disease,in addition to fever,fatigue,cough,dyspnea,diarrhea,nausea,vomiting,and abdominal pain,infected patients may also experience neurological and psychiatric repercussions during the course of the disease and as a post-COVID-19 ***,headache,dizziness,olfactory and gustatory dysfunction,cerebrovascular disorders,neuromuscular abnormalities,anxiety,depression,and post-traumatic stress disorder can occur both from the infection itself and from social distancing and *** to current evidence about this infection,the virus has the ability to infect the central nervous system(CNS)via angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)receptors on host *** studies have shown the presence of ACE2 in nerve cells and nasal mucosa,as well as transmembrane serine protease 2,key points for interaction with the viral Spike glycoprotein and entry into the CNS,being olfactory tract and blood-brain barrier,through hematogenous dissemination,potential ***,the presence of SARS-CoV-2 in the CNS supports the development of neuropsychiatric *** management of these manifestations seems more complex,given that the dense parenchyma and impermeability of brain tissue,despite protecting the brain from the infectious process,may hinder virus ***,some alternatives used in non-COVID-19 situations may lead to worse prognosis of acute respiratory syndrome,requiring ***,the aim of this review is to bring more current points related to this infection in the CNS,as well as the repercussions of the isolation involved by the pandemic and to present perspectives on interventions in this scenario.

Chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate are organic compounds, known as aminoquinolines for containing an amino group attached to a quinoline ring. They have been used since World War II as antimalarial agents. The article search that made up this review was carried out in the PubMed database, using the keywords “Chloroquine”, “Hydroxychloroquine”, and “Oral Manifestations”, in the period including 2005 to 2020. The sample size was 7 female patients aged 40 to 66 years, with an age predominance of between 50 and 60 years old. The predominant lesion site was the hard palate with 6 cases. To reach the diagnosis of pigmented lesions in the oral cavity, meticulous anamnesis prior to physical examination is extremely important. In this pandemic and post-pandemic period, a more detailed investigation of the medications used by the patient in recent periods, such as chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are essential to detect if the lesion was possibly caused by these drugs.
