Response of Indonesian mineral supply to global renewable energy generation:Analysis based on gravity model approach

The captivating surge of energy transitions in the major industrialized nations has elevated the global demand for critical *** demand pattern has enabled mineral-abundant emerging economies like Indonesia to enter the international market by exporting mineral ***,we investigate the Indonesian mineral export supply's response to the renewable energy production of the 18 clean energy-generating countries,considering crude oil and mineral prices,exchange rates,and economic growth of the resource and importer countries from 1990 to *** doing so,we apply the Poisson Pseudo-maximum Likelihood(PPML)approach to measuring the panel gravity model for mineral exports in *** a result,we observe a significant response of Indonesia's mineral export supply to the renewable energy generation of the 18 mineral importing ***,mineral and crude oil prices are insignificant,whereas the importer countries'exchange rates and income growth positively influence Indonesia's mineral export ***,Indonesia's income factor negatively affects its mineral export ***,we validate our results using an alternative estimator,the Driscoll-Kraay robust standard error estimation ***,our findings suggest implementing Indonesia's existing mineral policy to produce finished mineral goods to materialize the worldwide vision of energy transitions toward a crossroad of net-zero emissions by the middle of the current century.

The worldwide tremor of environmental degradation commonly represents the escalation of emissions levels and ecological footprints that harm the planet’s *** is because of using gigantic non-renewable energy resources,urbanization stream and massive economic activities in the major industrialized *** this situation,we investigate the influence of disaggregated energy measures,e.g.,renewable,and nuclear energy,income growth and urbanization on the load capacity factor(biocapacity divided by the ecological footprint)of major nuclear power countries,such as France,the UsA,Canada,China,and Russia during *** this end,we utilize the Cs-ARDL procedure because of the endogeneity,common correlation,non-stationarity in data and heterogeneity in panel *** contribute to considering the supply side dynamic of environmental degradation parameter,the load capacity,from the perspective of the top nuclear power nations that deviates our analysis from the prevailing scholarly ***,our findings confirm a significantly positive impact of renewable and nuclear energy on the load capacity factor in improving environmental ***,economic growth and urbanization negatively affect the load capacity dynamics in spurring environmental *** findings are robust across an alternative estimation technique,namely the Dumitrescu and Hurlin(DH)causation ***,we recommend formulating pragmatic policies to deter the detrimental effects of income and urbanization by properly utilizing sustainable energy resources to conserve the natural environment.

Coastal land transformation has been identified as a topic of research in many countries around the *** studies have been conducted to determine the causes and impacts of land ***,much less is understood about coupling change detection,factors,impacts,and adaptation strategies for coastal land transformation at a global *** review aims to present a systematic review of global coastal land transformation and its leading research *** 1,741 documents of scopus and Web of science,60 studies have been selected using the PRIsMA-2020 *** revealed that existing literature included four leading focus areas regarding coastal land transformation:change detection,driving factors,impacts,and adaptation *** focus areas were further analyzed,and it was found that more than 80%of studies used Landsat imagery to detect land *** growth and urbanization were among the major driving factors *** review further identified that about 37%of studies included impact *** studies identified impacts on ecosystems,land surface temperature,migration,water quality,and occupational effects as significant ***,only four studies included adaptation *** review explored the scope of comprehensive research in coastal land transformation,addressing change detection,factor and impact analysis,and mitigation-adaptation *** research also proposes a conceptual framework for comprehensive coastal land transformation *** framework can provide potential decision-making guidance for future studies in coastal land transformation.

An nonlinear model predictive controller(NMPC)is proposed in this paper for compensations of single line-to-ground(sLG)faults in resonant grounded power distribution networks(RGPDNs),which reduces the likelihood of power line bushfire due to electric *** current compensation(RCC)inverters with arc suppression coils(AsCs)in RGPDNs are controlled using the proposed NMPC to provide appropri-ate compensations during sLG *** proposed NMPC is incorporated with the estimation of AsC inductance,where the estimation is carried out based on voltage and current measure-ments from the neutral point of the power distribution *** compensation scheme is developed in the discrete time using the equivalent circuit of *** proposed NMPC for RCC inverters ensures that the desired current is in-jected into the neutral point during sLG faults,which is veri-fied through both simulations and control hardware-in-the-loop(CHIL)*** results are also presented against an integral sliding mode controller(IsMC)by demon-strating the capability of power line bushfire mitigation.

Ocean productivity is the foundation of marine food web,which continuously removes atmospheric carbon dioxide and supports life at sea and on ***-temporal variability of net primary productivity(NPP),sea surface temperature(ssT),sea surface salinity(sss),mixed layer depth(MLD),and euphotic zone depth(EZD) in the northern B ay of Bengal(BoB) during three monsoon seasons were examined in this study based on remote sensing data for the period 2005 to *** compare the NPP distribution between the coastal zones and open BoB,the study area was divided into five zones(Z1-Z5).Results suggest that most productive zones Z2 and Zl are located at the head bay area and are directly influenced by freshwater discharge together with riverine sediment and nutrient *** Z1-Z5,the NPP ranges from 5 315.38 mg/(m^(2)·d) to 346.7 mg/(m^(2)·d)(carbon,since then the same).The highest monthly average NPP of 5 315.38 mg/(m^(2)·d) in February and 5 039.36 mg/(m^(2)·d) in June were observed from Z2,while the lowest monthly average of 346.72 mg/(m^(2)·d) was observed in March from Z4,which is an oceanic *** values vary from 6-154 m for the study area,and it has an inverse correlation with NPP *** is deeper during the summer season and shallower during the wintertime,with a corresponding increase in *** the year,monthly ssT shows slight fluctuation for the entire study area,and statistical analysis shows a significant correlation among NPP,and EZD,overall positive between NPP and MLD,whereas no significant correlation among sss,and ssT for the northern ***-term trends in ssT and productivity were significantly po sitive in head bay zones but negatively productive in the open *** findings in this study on the distribution of NPP,ssT,sss,MLD,and EZD and their seasonal variability in five different zones of BoB can be used to further improve the management of marine resources and overall environmental condition in response to clim

Microalgae cultivation in photobioreactors（PBRs） has emerged as a promising and sustainable approach to address various environmental and energy challenges, offering a multitude of benefits across diverse *** developments in microalgae cultivation in photobioreactors have contributed substantially to the development and optimization of sustainable bioprocesses. This review presents a comprehensive analysis of recent innovations and breakthroughs in the field of microalgae cultivation, with a specific focus on their application in photobioreactors, aimed at paving the way for a greener future. This study in-depth examines the advantages of microalgae cultivation in photobioreactors, concentrating on its effectiveness in wastewater treatment, CO2bioremediation, and the production of biofuels and high-value products. The review evaluates the effects of light,solar irradiation, temperature, nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations in culture media, CO2concentrations, and pH on microalgae growth performance, including specific growth and biomass productivity. The study also examines open systems like unstirred ponds, raceway ponds, and circular ponds and closed systems like horizontal tubular, vertical bubble-column, airlift, flat panel, and plastic-bag photobioreactors, comparing their pros and cons. To optimize microalgae cultivation, key factors in photobioreactor design, including photosynthetic efficiencies, light/dark（L/D） cycles, CO2concentrations, mass transfer, hydrodynamics behavior, and p H, are extensively investigated. Effect of organic mineral supplementation in reducing oxidative stress in Holstein calves during short‑term heat stress and recovery conditions

Background This study investigated the effects of inorganic and organic minerals on physiological responses,oxidative stress reduction,and rumen microbiota in Holstein bull calves(123.81±9.76 kg;5 months old)during short-term heat stress(Hs)and recovery *** Holstein calves were randomly assigned to four treatment groups:no mineral supplementation(Con),inorganic minerals(IM),organic minerals(OM),and high-concentration organic minerals(HOM)and two thermal environments(Hs and recovery)using 4×2 factorial arrangement in a crossover design of four periods of 35 *** were maintained in a temperature-controlled *** experimental period consisted of 14 d of Hs,14 d of recovery condititon,and a 7-d washing *** Body temperature and respiration rate were higher in Hs than in the recovery conditions(Pselenium concentration in serum was high in the HOM-supplemented calves in both Hs(90.38μg/dL)and recovery periods(102.00μg/dL)(Ps period,the serum cortisol was 20.26 ng/mL in the HOM group,which was 5.60 ng/mL lower than in the control group(Pstatus was the highest in the OM group(2.71 mmol Trolox equivalent/L),followed by the HOM group during Hs,whereas it was highest in the HOM group(2.58 mmol Trolox equivalent/L)during the recovery period(Psma malondialdehyde and HsP70 levels were decreased by HOM supplementation during the Hs and recovery periods,whereas sOD and GPX levels were not significantly affected(P>0.05).The principal coordinate analysis represented that the overall rumen microbiota was not influenced by mineral supplementation;however,temperature-induced microbial structure shifts were indicated(PERMANOVA:Ps and Actinobacteria decreased,whereas Fibrobacteres,spirochaetes,and Tenericutes increased(Ps *** genus Treponema increased under Hs conditions,while Christensenella was higher in recovery conditions(P<0.05).Conc

Insight into Metabolomic Profiling of Tinospora cordifolia: Recent Advances and Future Perspectives of Quality Control

The objective of this study was to offer a review of previous works on Tinospora cordifolia(TC) metabolomics with a highlight on the use of metabolomics in comparative evaluations between varieties and selection of optimum cultivation, collection, and extraction procedures, providing insights into pharmaceutical and food product quality monitoring. scholarly databases were searched to gather relevant information on TC's therapeutic usefulness, phytoconstituent studies, metabolomics, and applications. Pub Chem was used to learn the structures of several of the metabolites. The various medicinal properties of TC were extensively researched. The most essential portions of the plant in Ayurvedic medicines are the stems. Bioactive phytochemicals such as steroidal lactones, alkaloids, diterpenoids, and phenolic compounds are present in the roots and leaves. Metabolomic analysis revealed that, in addition to the season and geographical region of the sample collected, the metabolite profiles of TC also depend on the parts of the plant taken as a sample and also the plant's stage of growth. The amounts of secondary metabolites differed between morpho/chemotypes within the TC species. Despite the fact that research on TC began several decades ago, the diversity of phytoconstituents was not appreciated because of a lack of reliable techniques for phytochemical fingerprinting. The uncovering of several novel metabolites was aided by advances in chromatography combined with mass spectrometry. To produce a full metabolomic profile, researchers used mutually complementary techniques. Following that, data analysis and searches against spectrum databases allowed for signal annotation and interpretation of metabolites in large quantities without separating them separately. The current review includes a critical assessment of metabolomic data and an overview of the technique's various applications.
