Malware is a software which is designed with an intent to damage a network or computer resources. Today, the emergence of malware is on boom letting the researchers develop novel techniques to protect computers and networks. The three major techniques used for malware detection are heuristic, signature-based, and behavior based. Among these, the most prevalent is the heuristic based malware detection. Hidden Markov Model is the most efficient technique for malware detection. In this paper, we present the Hidden Markov Model as a cutting edge malware detection tool and a comprehensive review of different studies that employ HMM as a detection tool.

Populus alba is a large woody deciduous *** plant has been introduced to shooting,then multiplication of rooting on Murashige and Skoog(MS)*** work was designed to estimate the effect of two factors(low levels of 1-Naphthaleneacetic acid NAA and sucrose)on *** response resulting in 6 treatments compared to the control,with twelve measured *** was a significant difference in some measurements in morphology,like plantlets fresh-weight,shoot-,root-length,and leaf *** the physiological measurements,there were significant differences in all the measured *** low concentrations of sucrose and media composition/power(MS grams/L)led to starvation in plants;however,these conditions led to enhancement in some morphological and physiological parameters to overcome the starvation effect,compared to the *** RAPD-PCR molecular marker(four decamers)was used to evaluate the new individuals’genetic variation(instability),resulting in a total polymorphism percentage of 50.83%.It was formerly known that the plantlets were identical to each other and to the mother *** this study,however,the use of distinct media power,hormonal and sucrose levels resulted in molecular variation reflected in ***’s morphological and physiological responses.

Land use/land cover (LULC) changes have become a central issue in current global change and sustainability research. Saudi Arabia has undergone significant change in land use and land cover since the government embarked on a course of intense national development 30 years ago, as a result of huge national oil revenues. This study evaluates LULC change in Makkah and Al-Taif, Saudi Arabia from 1986 to 2013 using Landsat images. Maximum likelihood and object-oriented classification were used to develop LULC maps. The change detection was executed using post-classification comparison and GIS. The results indicated that urban areas have increased over the period by approximately 174% in Makkah and 113% in Al-Taif. Analysis of vegetation cover over the study area showed a variable distribution from year to year due to changing average precipitation in this environment. Object-based classification provided slightly greater accuracy than maximum likelihood classification. Information provided by satellite remote sensing can play an important role in quantifying and understanding the relationship between population growth and LULC changes, which can assist future planning and potential environmental impacts of expanding urban areas.

The accuracy of change detection on the earth’s surface is important for understanding the relationships and interactions between human and natural phenomena. Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have the potential to provide accurate information regarding land use and land cover changes. In this paper, we investigate the major techniques that are utilized to detect land use and land cover changes. Eleven change detection techniques are reviewed. An analysis of the related literature shows that the most used techniques are post-classification comparison and principle component analysis. Post-classification comparison can minimize the impacts of atmospheric and sensor differences between two dates. Image differencing and image ratioing are easy to implement, but at times they do not provide accurate results. Hybrid change detection is a useful technique that makes full use of the benefits of many techniques, but it is complex and depends on the characteristics of the other techniques such as supervised and unsupervised classifications. Change vector analysis is complicated to implement, but it is useful for providing the direction and magnitude of change. Recently, artificial neural networks, chi-square, decision tree and image fusion have been frequently used in change detection. Research on integrating remote sensing data and GIS into change detection has also increased.

The Prevalence of Autoantibodies in Saudis Patients with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus

Background: Type 1 Diabetes mellitus (T1DM) results from a cellular-mediated autoimmune destruction of the β-cells of the pancreas. We designed this study to determine the prevalence of autoantibodies among Saudis patients with T1DM. Methods: Glutamic acid decarboxylase antibodies (GADA), antibodies to Islet cell (ICA) and Insulin (IAA) were measured in 171 Saudis patients with T1DM. Results: There were 171 patients with T1DM, 71 males (41.5%) and 100 females (58.5%). The mean age was 20.8 ± 6.6 and the mean diabetes duration was 7.7 ± 5.7. GADA, ICA and IAA were detected in 53.8%, 32.2% and 76% respectively. GADA, ICA and IAA were nonsignificantly more frequent in female and GADA and IAA were significantly more frequent in those younger than 20 years of age. Subjects testing positive for GADA had higher levels of ICA (42.4% vs. 20.3, p = 0.003) and IAA (79.3% vs. 72.2, p = 0.3) than those negative for GADA. Multiple antibodies (≥2) were observed more often in patients under the age of 20 years. There were nonsignificant differences in the prevalence of multiple antibodies between both genders. Multiple logistic regression analysis showed a significant independent positive relationship between the serum positivity of GADA, ICA and Multiple antibodies (≥2) with diabetes duration (0.02, p = 0.03, 0.02, p = 0.01 and 0.01, p = 0.04 respectively). Conclusions: The prevalence of autoantibodies in Saudi patients with T1DM is similar to those reported for diabetic patients in other ethnic groups.

Acai Fruit as a Source of Bioactive Phytochemicals

The fruit of the acai palm （Euterpe oleracea Mart.） is a rich source of potential bioactive phytochemicals, however neither its precise composition nor the putative benefits to health from its consumption have been fully characterised. This study aims to elucidate the composition of acai fruit pulp and to explore the potential of these extracts to confer protection in a cell culture based model of oxidative DNA damage. Extractions ofcai pulps were dissolved in a 80% methanol （methanol： water, 80：20 v/v） based solvent and the phytochemicals present in the extract were analysing by HPLC detector. Lipids were assessed via GC. The Folin-Ciocalteau assay was used to determine the purposes of providing a phytochemical rich food based comparator with established health benefits. Finally, protection against oxidative DNA damage was assessed in HT-29 cell lines exposed to hydrogen peroxide via the comet assay. Acai pulp extracts were found to be rich in flavonoids, anthocyanins and carotenoids. These extracts were found to protect against oxidative DNA damage （anti-genotoxicity）. A^ai extracts were more effective at preventing oxidative DNA damage than the blueberry extracts, although their antioxidant capacities as assessed by the FRAP assay were similar. These data shown that acai is a rich source of plant phytochemicals and that these chemicals may protect against oxidative stress in human colon cells （HT-29）. Further work is needed to establish the digestive fate of these phytochemicals and to prove the beneficial effects in human.
