Spectroscopic Investigations for the Six New Synthesized Complexes of Fluoroquinolones and Quinolones Drugs With Nickel(Ⅱ) Metal Ion:Infrared and Electronic Spectroscopy

Quinolone has a broad spectrum of synthetic antibiotics with a strong therapeutic effect and quinolone is a term used for chemical treatments used to treat a powerful *** are divided into 4 generations according to the bacterial spectrum,the majority of quinolones used clinically belong to the sub fluoroquinolones group,which has a fluorine atom linked to the central ring system,usually on its carbon atom 6 or *** in this article,six new nickel(Ⅱ)complexes(Ⅰ—Ⅵ)have been synthesized in aqueous alkaline media at pH ranged 8-9,the chemical reactions take place between levofloxacin(HLEV),lomefloxacin(HLOM),nalidixic acid(HNLA),oxolonic acid(HOXO),pipemidic acid(HPIP),and pefloxacin mesylate(HPEF)with nickel(Ⅱ)nitrate *** microanalytical(percentage of carbon,hydrogen and nitrogen),molar conductance(Λm),Infrared(FTIR)spectra,electronic(UV-Vis)spectra,and effective magnetic moment instrumentals were used to identify the suggested structures and their surface *** the analytical and spectroscopic analyses,the stoichiometry between nickel(Ⅱ)metal ion and drug ligands was found to be 1∶2 with general formula as[Ni(L)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(2)]·x H_(2)O(L=LEV(Ⅰ),LOM(Ⅱ),NAL(Ⅲ),OXO(Ⅳ),PIP(V),and PEF(Ⅵ);x=2 or 4).By the comparison between FTIR spectra of quinolone drugs and their complexes,it can be deduced that all the drug ligands act as a bidentate chelates through oxygen atoms of pyridine ring and carboxylate *** electronic configuration of all synthesized nickel(Ⅱ)complexes were octahedral geometry which confirmed based on the values of magnetic susceptibility and the electronic transition bands.

Spectroscopic Characterizations of Metal-Complexes of 4-Hydroxybenzoic Acid With the Ni(Ⅱ),Mn(Ⅱ),and Cu(Ⅱ)Ions

One of the phenolic acids is 4-hydroxybenzoic acid(HBA)which takes the form of a white crystalline solid with a molecular formula of C 7H 6O 3,a melting point of 214.5℃and a molecular weight of 138.12 g·mol^(-1).It soluble in polar organic solvents like acetone and alcohols,and slightly soluble in chloroform and *** reactions between the metal ions and the HBA were carried out under specific conditions like(molar reaction was 2∶2(ligand to metal),reaction temperature was 60℃,media was neutral(pH 7),and solvent was H 2O∶MeOH(1∶1).Under these conditions,the HBA was deprotonated to form(HOC_(6)H_(4)CO^(2);L^(-)).The ligand L-was coordinated to the metal ions forming the metal *** reaction of 4-hydroxybenzoic acid(HOC 6H 4CO 2H;HL)with the Ni(Ⅱ),Mn(Ⅱ)and Cu(Ⅱ)ions afford metal-complexes with gross formula of[Ni_(2)L_(2)(NO_(3))_(2)(H_(2)O)_(4)],[Mn_(2)L_(2)(NO_(3))_(2)(H_(2)O)_(4)]and[Cu_(2)L_(2)(NO_(3))_(2)(H_(2)O)_(4)],*** complexes were characterized by elemental analysis(CHN),magnetic susceptibility,UV-Vis spectra,infrared(IR),and X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)*** complexes of HBA are insoluble in common solvents and hence molar conductance could not be measured,but this very insolubility indicates that the complexes are *** has demonstrated that the ligand(L^(-))was coordinated to the metal ion by bidentate bridging carboxylate group(COO^(-)),with an octahedral ***,HBA is expected to act as bidentate uninegative ions and the coordination number of the metal ions is *** results showed that the complexes possess uniform and organized microstructures in the nanometer range with a main diameter in the range of 11~28 nm.

Refined rigorous perturbation bounds for the SR decomposition

In this article, some new rigorous perturbation bounds for the SR decomposition under normwise or componentwise perturbations for a given matrix are derived. Also, the explicit expressions for the mixed and componentwise condition numbers are presented by utilizing the block matrix-vector equation approach. Hypothetical and trial results demonstrate that these new bounds are constantly more tightly than the comparing ones in the literature.

Comparisons of gene expression profiles between primary tumors and metastasis have revealed genes that are implicated in metastasis ***,gene expression studies conducted on metastasis samples from the same primary site usually do not discriminate between different secondary *** the change in the expression of number of genes is expected to be common to metastasis from the same primary but different secondary sites,herein the data that point to substantial differences are ***,the reciprocal communication between metastatic and host cells that is influencing these differences is outlined to emphasize the need for stratification of metastasis samples in gene expression studies.

The availability of chemical and biological data presented in this paper is the basis for understanding not only the current state of anti-cancer drugs based on gold(Ⅲ),but also the rationale for strategies for future drug *** Au(Ⅲ)nanosized complexes of cefotaxime(ceph-3)and cefepime(ceph-4)ligands as a 3rd and 4th of cephalosporin generation drugs were ***(Ⅲ)complexes were discussed based on the elemental,molar conductance,thermal and magnetic moment measurements as well as spectral(FTIR,1HNMR,UV-Vis,and XRD)***-IR spectra revealed that the ceph-3 and ceph-4 ligands reacted as a bidentate ligands through carboxylate oxygen andβ-lactam oxygen *** analytical analysis confirm that the molar ratio is 1∶1(Au 3+/ceph)with general formula[Au(L)(Cl)2]where L=ceph-3 or *** structures of Au(Ⅲ)complexes were presence as a square planar geometry.X-ray diffraction patterns referred to a crystalline nature for all synthesized *** analyses confirmed that the synthetic gold(Ⅲ)complexes have a nanosized *** vitro antimicrobial activities of Au(Ⅲ)complexes were evaluated towards two types of bacteria(G+&G-).The antitumor activities of gold(Ⅲ)complexes are appraised against breast(MCF-7)and colorectal adenocarcinoma(Caco-2)cell lines,which means that the two complexes may consider promising anticancer drugs.

Structured condition numbers and statistical condition estimation for the LDU factorization

In this article, we consider the structured condition numbers for LDU, factorization by using the modified matrix-vector approach and the differential calculus, which can be represented by sets of parameters. By setting the specific norms and weight parameters, we present the expressions of the structured normwise, mixed, componentwise condition numbers and the corresponding results for unstructured ones. In addition, we investigate the statistical estimation of condition numbers of LDU factorization using the probabilistic spectral norm estimator and the small-sample statistical condition estimation method, and devise three algorithms. Finally, we compare the structured condition numbers with the corresponding unstructured ones in numerical experiments.

Chemiluminescence Determination of Cefixime Trihydrate Based on Acidic Diperiodatoargentate(Ⅲ)-Rhodamine 6-G System

A novel chemiluminescence(CL) method is proposed for cefixime trihydrate(CFX) determination based on its eiiliancement effect on diperiodatoargentate(III)(DPA)-rhodamine 6-G(Rh6-G) reaction in conjunction with flow injection analysis(FIA). A linear calibration curve was achieved over the range from 0.01 mg/L to 2.5 mg/L CFX(R^2=0.999,n=8) with relative standard deviation(RSD) of 1.4%-3.8%(n=4)), limit of detection(LOD) of 3.0×10^-3 mg/L(S/N=3),injection tliroughput of 180/h and regression equation of y=1113.2x-14.596[y=CL intensity (mV) and x=concentration of CFX(mg/L)]. The method was successfully applied to CFX determination in pharmaceutical formulations and the recoveries(%) for proposed FI-CL and a reported spectrophotometric method by applying the Student t-test [calculated t-test value: t=1.079215, and tabulated t-distributed(95%)=2.200985] were not significantly diflerent. The CFX was efficiently extracted and no significant effect of commonly found excipients in the pharmaceutical formulations was observed. The mechanism of CL reaction is discussed briefly.

Laboratory diagnosis of schistosomiasis mansoni: Current status and future trends

Schistosomiasis is a neglected tropical disease that affects about 290 million patients worldwide. Children aged between 5 and 14 years represent 45.8% of the affected patients, in addition, schistosomiasis has been reported in Schistosoma-free areas, mostly because of tourism and immigration from endemic countries. Intestinal schistosomiasis caused by Schistosoma mansoni is mainly diagnosed via direct stool examination for egg detection. Immunological methods are favoured for disease monitoring and preliminary checking for communities in areas with low infection rates, and for patients with light and chronic infections where parasitological tests are negative. PCR-based diagnostic techniques are more sensitive, but expensive. Tegument proteins and miRNAs are promising markers for diagnosis of schistosomiasis. Here we review the diagnostic methods for schistosomiasis mansoni aiming to reach a standardized technique for diagnosis of early infection to help better control of the disease.

A Hybrid Model for Reliability Aware and Energy-Efficiency in Multicore Systems

Recently,Multicore systems use Dynamic Voltage/Frequency Scaling(DV/FS)technology to allow the cores to operate with various voltage and/or frequencies than other cores to save power and enhance the *** this paper,an effective and reliable hybridmodel to reduce the energy and makespan in multicore systems is *** proposed hybrid model enhances and integrates the greedy approach with dynamic programming to achieve optimal Voltage/Frequency(Vmin/F)***,the allocation process is applied based on the *** hybrid model consists of three *** first stage gets the optimum safe voltage while the second stage sets the level of energy efficiency,and finally,the third is the allocation *** results on various benchmarks show that the proposed model can generate optimal solutions to save energy while minimizing the makespan *** with other competitive algorithms show that the proposed model provides on average 48%improvements in energy-saving and achieves an 18%reduction in computation time while ensuring a high degree of system reliability.

The popularity of social networking sites has attracted billions of users to engage and share their information on these *** vast amount of circulating data and information expose these networks to several security *** engineering is one of the most common types of threat that may face social network *** and increasing users’awareness of such threats is essential for maintaining continuous and safe use of social networking *** the most vulnerable users in order to target them for these training programs is desirable for increasing the effectiveness of such *** studies have investigated the effect of individuals’characteristics on predicting their vulnerability to social engineering in the context of social *** address this gap,the present study developed a novel model to predict user vulnerability based on several perspectives of user *** proposed model includes interactions between different social network-oriented factors such as level of involvement in the network,motivation to use the network,and competence in dealing with threats on the *** results of this research indicate that most of the considered user characteristics are factors that influence user vulnerability either directly or ***,the present study provides evidence that individuals’characteristics can identify vulnerable users so that these risks can be considered when designing training and awareness programs.
