A sensitive and selective method employing chemiluminescence(CL)coupled with flow injection(FI)is reported for nalbuphine hydrochloride(NAL)assay in pharmaceutical *** enhancement effect of NAL on the CL reaction between tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II)chloride-diperiodatocuprate(III){Ru[(bpy)_(3)]^(2+)-Cu(III)complex}in acidic medium is used as analytical *** optimal conditions of the CL reaction were sulfuric acid 1.0×10^(−3) mol/L,Ru[(bpy)s]2+7.5×10^(−5) mol/L,Cu(III)/Ag(III)complexes 4.0×10^(−4)/5.0×10^(−4) mol/L,sample loop volume of 120µL and flow rate of 2.5 mL/*** sensitivities of the method in terms of detection(s/N=3)and quantification(s/N=10)limits are 5×10^(−4) and 0.001 ppm(1 ppm=1 mg/L),*** linear response of the instrument in the form of CL intensity with respect to NAL concentration is over the range 0.001-15.0 ppm(R^(2)=0.9999)with relative standard deviation from 0.8%to 3.2%and injection throughput of 120 injection/*** applications of the method include the quantitative analysis of NAL in pharmaceutical injection *** and the average results of the proposed method are not significantly different from the results of a reported method by applying F-and paired student *** most likely CL reaction mechanism is written in accordance with spectrophotometric and CL studies.

Today,due to the pandemic of COVID-19 the entire world is facing a serious health *** to the World Health Organization(WHO),people in public places should wear a face mask to control the rapid transmission of *** governmental bodies of different countries imposed that wearing a face mask is compulsory in public ***,it is very difficult to manually monitor people in overcrowded *** research focuses on providing a solution to enforce one of the important preventative measures of COVID-19 in public places,by presenting an automated system that automatically localizes masked and unmasked human faces within an image or video of an area which assist in this outbreak of *** paper demonstrates a transfer learning approach with the Faster-RCNN model to detect faces that are masked or *** proposed framework is built by fine-tuning the state-of-the-art deep learning model,Faster-RCNN,and has been validated on a publicly available dataset named Face Mask Dataset(FMD)and achieving the highest average precision(AP)of 81%and highest average Recall(AR)of 84%.This shows the strong robustness and capabilities of the Faster-RCNN model to detect individuals with masked and un-masked ***,this work applies to real-time and can be implemented in any public service area.

Predominantly antibody deficiency(PAD)is the most prevalent form of primary immunodeficiency,and is characterized by broad clinical,immunological and genetic *** the current gold standard of whole exome sequencing for diagnosis,pathogenic gene variants are only identified in less than 20% of *** elucidation of the causal genes underlying PAD has provided many insights into the cellular and molecular mechanisms underpinning disease pathogenesis,many other genes may remain as yet undefined to enable definitive diagnosis,prognostic monitoring and targeted therapy of *** that many patients display a relatively late onset of disease presentation in their 2^(nd) or 3^(rd) decade of life,it is questionable whether a single genetic lesion underlies disease in all ***,combined effects of other gene variants and/or non-genetic factors,including specific infections can drive disease *** this review,we define(1)the clinical and immunological variability of PAD,(2)consider how genetic defects identified in PAD have given insight into B-cell immunobiology,(3)address recent technological advances in genomics and the challenges associated with identifying causal variants,and(4)discuss how functional validation of variants of unknown significance could potentially be translated into increased diagnostic rates,improved prognostic monitoring and personalized medicine for PAD patients.A multidisciplinary approach will be the key to curtailing the early mortality and high morbidity rates in this immune disorder.

Purpose:Overcrowding in emergency department(ED)is a concerning global problem and has been identified as a national crisis in some *** emergency sorting systems designed successfully in the *** in 2004,a group of branches in south African triage scale(sATs)*** effectiveness of the case sorting system of sATs was evaluated to reduce the patient's length of stay(LOs)and mortality rate within the ED at suez Canal University ***:The study was designed as an intervention study that included a systematic random sample of patients who presented to the ED in suez Canal University *** study was implemented in three phases:pre-intervention phase,115 patients were assessed by the traditional protocols;intervention phase,a structured training program was provided to the ED staff,including a workshop and lectures;and post-intervention phase,230 patients were assessed by *** the patients were retriaged 2 h later,calculating the LOs per patient and the *** was collected and entered using Microsoft Excel *** data from the triage sheet were analyzed using the sPss software program version ***:The LOs in the ED was about 183.78 min before the intervention;while after the training program and the application of sATs,it was reduced to 51.39 *** 15.7%of the patients died before the intervention;however,after the intervention the ratio decreased to 10.7%***:sATs is better at assessing patients without missing important ***,it resulted in a decrease in the LOs and reduction in the mortality rate compared to the traditional protocol.

The genus Musa is one of three genera in the family Musaceae, which includes bananas and plantains, which are monocotyledonous plants. Bananas have valuable nutritional content of vitamin C, B6, minerals, and dietary fiber and are a rich food energy source, given that carbohydrates account for 22%–32% of fruit weight. Molecular markers are valuable for crop improvement and population genetics studies. The availability of whole-genome sequence and in silico approaches has revolutionized bulk marker discovery. We describe an online web genomic resource, BansatDB(http://***/bansatdb/) having the highest number(>341,000) of putative sTR markers from Musa genera so far, represented by three species: M. acuminata(110,000), M. balbisiana(107,000), and M. itinerans(124,000)from 11 chromosomes of each species. BansatDB has also been populated with 580 validated sTR markers from the published literature. It is based on a three-tier architecture using MysQL, PHP and Apache. The markers can be retrieved by use of multiple search parameters including chromosome number(s), microsatellite types(simple or compound),repeat nucleotides(1–6), copy number, microsatellite length, pattern of repeat motif, and chromosome location. These markers can be used for Distinctness, Uniformity and stability(DUs) tests of variety identification and for marker assisted selection(MAs) in variety improvement and management. These sTRs have also proved to be helpful in classification of Musa germplasm to distinguish individual accessions and in the development of a standardized procedure for genotyping. These markers can also be used in gene discovery and QTL mapping. The database represents a source of markers for developing and implementing new approaches for molecular breeding, which are required to enhance banana productivity.

Flux measurements for a DD neutron generator using neutron activation analysis

The fast and maximum thermal neutron fluxes from the DD-109 neutron generator at the University of sharjah were experimentally measured by the activation technique using different neutron reactions. The thermal and fast neutron fluxes were found to be 2.960 × 10~6 and6.186 × 10~7 n/cm^2 s, respectively. This was done to verify the modeling results for the optimum moderator thickness needed to maximize the thermal neutron flux. The optimum moderator thickness was found to be between 3.5 and4 cm. The present data were compared with the detailed MCNP model-based calculation performed in earlier work to simulate the generator.

Objective:To compare the genotype frequencies of HLA class-ⅡDRB1 alleles in Giardia(G.)lamblia-infected ***:A total of 490 Egyptian children aged 2-16 years were subjected to microscopic stool examination to detect *** infection,and to exclude other intestinal *** the basis of their microscopic findings,a group of 80 children were chosen as giardiasis cases,another 80 children were confirmed as Giardia free control group by immunochromatographic test,and the remaining children were *** giardiasis and control groups were then subjected to blood examination to identify their genetic type of HLA-DRB1 ***:HLA class-ⅡDRB1*03:01 and DRB1*13:01 alleles were significantly associated with *** infection(Pss-ⅡDRB1*04:02,DRB1*10:01,DRB1*14:01 and DRB1*15:01 alleles were significantly demonstrated in Giardia free ***,other HLA-DRB1 alleles did not show any significant association with ***:HLA class-ⅡDRB1*03,DRB1*13,DRB1*04,DRB1*10,DRB1*14 and DRB1*15 alleles may be involved in the establishment of host immune response to *** infection.
