Hydratio. pro.ess, crack po.ential and setting time o. co.crete grade C30, C40 and C50 were mo.ito.ed by using a no.-co.tact electrical resistivity apparatus, a no.el plastic ring mo.ld and penetratio. resistance metho.s, respectively. The results sho. the highest resistivity o. C30 at the early stage until a po.nt when C50 accelerated and o.erto.k the o.hers. It has been experimentally co.firmed that the cro.sing po.nt o. C30 and C50 co.respo.ds to.the final setting time o. C50. Fro. resistivity derivative curve, fo.r different stages were o.served upo. which the hydratio. pro.ess is classified; these are disso.utio., inductio., acceleratio. and deceleratio. perio.s. Co.sequently, restrained shrinkage crack and setting time results demo.strated that C50 set and cracked the earliest. The cracking time o. all the samples o.curred within a reaso.able experimental perio. thus the no.el plastic ring is a co.venient metho. fo. predicting co.crete＇s crack po.ential. The highest inflectio. time（t_i） o.tained fro. resistivity curve and the final setting time（t_f） were used with crack time（t_c） in co.ing up with mathematical mo.els fo. the predictio. o. co.crete＇s cracking age fo. the range o. co.crete grade co.sidered. Finally, an ANSYS numerical simulatio. suppo.ts the experimental findings in terms o. the earliest crack age o. C50 and the crack lo.atio..

It is assumed that the bo.nding plate has a ramped temperature pro.ile. Exact so.utio.s o. energy and mo.entum equatio.s are o.tained using the Laplacetransfo.m techniques. So.utio.s are o.tained fo. different values o. the Prandtl number (Pr) and the heat sink parameter (S). Results o. the ramped and iso.hermal temperature and velo.ity as well as Nusselt number and skin frictio. have been co.pared and presented with the help o. graphs.

Carcino.arco.a o. the uterine cervix are very rare malignancy o. the female repro.uctive tract with po.r pro.no.is. o.ly fifty cases have been repo.ted in literature until 2013. We repo.t a 49 years o.d Para 7 + 3 presenting with vaginal bleeding, o.fensive discharge with intermittent abdo.inal pain. o. examinatio. an impressio. o. a cervical po.yp was made. She had to.al abdo.inal hysterecto.y and bilateral salpingo.pho.ecto.y. The histo.o.ical diagno.is o. carcino.arco.a o. the uterine cervix was made. She had chemo.adiatio. therapy as adjuvant therapy in view o. the diagno.is. Altho.gh cancer o. the cervix is the seco.d co.mo.est cancer wo.ldwide and the leading cause o. cancer death in wo.en, this particular histo.o.ical variant is very rare, as such no.standard pro.o.o. o. management develo.ed fo. it yet and it carries a very po.r pro.no.is.

Fo.us co.structio.s are syntactically rich aspects o. Fulfulde grammar. This paper aims at investigating the nature o. no.n phrase(NP) fo.us in Fulfulde with particular reference to.Adamawa dialect. The study emplo.ed two.metho.o.o.ical techniques fo. data co.lectio.: o.servatio. and o.al interview. These techniques were used in co.lecting data fro. different catego.ies o. native speakers. The Principles and Parameters theo.y was ado.ted as the theo.etical framewo.k fo. data analysis in the study. The study sho.s that no.n phrase NP fo.us in Adamawa dialect o. Fulfulde invo.ves mo.ement o. the fo.used element which is acco.panied with a fo.us marker(FM). The study has identified five different FMs that are co.mo.ly used in the dialect depending o. the semantic requirement. They are: o., ni, faa, dey and tan.
