Five perovskite ceramics samples of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transforms infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the major phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm^(-1) ascribed to the antisymmetric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determine the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancement in the bandgap from 3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized samples were experimentally measured and compared with XCOM computational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experimental and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gamma shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding parameters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) samples can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

Salinity is a major abiotic stress that hinders plant development and productivity and influences agricultural *** priming is a technique used to boost germination and seedling growth under abiotic stress.A pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the impact of seed priming with potassium nitrate(KNO_(3))at various levels(0%,0.50%,1.00%and 1.50%)under salt stress(0,75,100 mM NaCl)on two maize verities(MNh360 and 30T60)for the growth,development and metabolic attributes results revealed that in maize variety MNh360,KNO_(3)priming’s significantly enhanced growth parameters than in maize variety 30T60 under control and salt-stressed *** with KNO_(3)enhanced carotenoids and total chlorophyll in the 30T60 variety that protected the maize plants from salt ***,it was shown that priming with 1.00%KNO_(3)acts as safeguarded to protect them from oxidative damage by salt stress minimizing reactive oxygen species(ROS)formation through increased levels of malondialdehyde(MDA),catalase(CAT),peroxidase(POD),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and total soluble *** findings of the present study confirm that the use of the KNO_(3)seed priming technique is a lowcost,environmentally friendly technique for mitigating adverse impacts of salt stress in maize crops by activating the antioxidant defense system and improving chlorophyll and osmolyte contents.

The purpose of this manuscript was to present the evidence for why cells do not produce metabolic *** addition,evidence that opposes common viewpoints and arguments used to support the cellular production of lactic acid(hLa)or liver keto-acids have been *** chemistry reveals that many molecules involved in cellular energy catabolism contain functional groups classified as *** two main acidic functional groups of these molecules susceptible to-h^(+) þrelease are the carboxyl and phosphoryl structures,though the biochemistry and organic chemistry of molecules having these structures reveal they are produced in a non-acidic ionic(negatively charged)structure,thereby preventing ph dependent -h^(+)þ*** evidence from the industrial production of hLa further reveals that lactate(La)is produced followed by an acidification step that converts La to hLa due to ph dependent-h^(+)þ***,there is a plentiful list of other molecules that are classified as acids and compared to hLa have similar values for their hþdissociation constant(pKd).For many metabolic conditions,the cumulative turnover of these molecules is far higher than for *** collective evidence documents the non-empirical basis for the construct of the cellular production of hLa,or any other metabolic acid.

Optimizing Grey Wolf Optimization: A Novel Agents’ Positions Updating Technique for Enhanced Efficiency and Performance

Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) is a nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithm that has gained popularity for solving optimization problems. In GWO, the success of the algorithm heavily relies on the efficient updating of the agents’ positions relative to the leader wolves. In this paper, we provide a brief overview of the Grey Wolf Optimization technique and its significance in solving complex optimization problems. Building upon the foundation of GWO, we introduce a novel technique for updating agents’ positions, which aims to enhance the algorithm’s effectiveness and efficiency. To evaluate the performance of our proposed approach, we conduct comprehensive experiments and compare the results with the original Grey Wolf Optimization technique. Our comparative analysis demonstrates that the proposed technique achieves superior optimization outcomes. These findings underscore the potential of our approach in addressing optimization challenges effectively and efficiently, making it a valuable contribution to the field of optimization algorithms.

Buoyant Marangoni convection of nanofluids in square cavity

The buoyant Marangoni convection heat transfer in a differentially heated cavity is numerically studied. The cavity is filled with water-Ag, water-Cu, water-Al2O3, and water-TiO2 nanofiuids. The governing equations are based on the equations involving the stream function, vorticity, and temperature. The dimensionless forms of the governing equations are solved by the finite difference （FD） scheme consisting of the alternating direction implicit （ADI） method and the tri-diagonal matrix algorithm （TDMA）. It is found that the increase in the nanoparticle concentration leads to the decrease in the flow rates in the secondary cells when the convective thermocapillary and the buoyancy force have similar strength. A critical Marangoni number exists, below which increasing the Marangoni number decreases the average Nusselt number, and above which increasing the Marangoni number increases the average Nusselt number. The nanoparticles play a crucial role in the critical Marangoni number.

Eradication Treatment of helicobacter pylori Infection: Evaluation of Therapeutic Strategies in N’Djamena

Background: helicobacter pylori (hp) infection is the most widespread bacterial infection in the world. The infection is generally acquired in childhood, but can persist into adulthood. Eradication therapy has undergone several modifications. The aim of this study was to evaluate the different therapeutic strategies used in the eradication of helicobacter pylori infection in the Centre hospitalier Universitaire La Reference Nationale of N’Djaména. Patients and Methods: This was a prospective, descriptive analytical study spread over one year, from September 2021 to September 2022. Patients at least 15 years of age presenting with dyspeptic symptoms, seen consecutively in a hepato-gastroenterology consultation and with a positive stool test for h. pylori infection, were included in the study. Equally, 1/3 of patients were treated with dual or triple therapy. The remaining third received quadritherapy. Results: A total of 268 patients were included in the study (mean age 38.40 ± 14.66 with extremes of 16 and 80 years). Males predominated in 58% of cases. Overall therapeutic efficacy was 88.9%. According to different therapeutic strategies, efficacy was 90.75% for dual therapy with PPI (Rabeprazole) and Amoxicillin. On the other hand, efficacy was 87% and 88.88% for PPI-based triple therapy and dual antibiotic therapy, and for PPI-based quadruple therapy and triple antibiotic therapy. Conclusion: h. pylori infection is a common disease in Chad. Dual therapy with rabeprazole combined with a high dose of amoxicillin over a period of at least two weeks showed similar if not better efficacy than triple or quadruple therapy.

Flow Reversal of Fully-Developed Mixed MhD Convection in Vertical Channels

The present analysis is concerned with flow reversal phenomena of the fully-developed laminar combined free and forced MhD convection in a vertical parallel-plate channel. The effect of viscous dissipation is taken into account. Flow reversal adjacent to the cold （or hot） wall is found to exist within the channel as Gr/Re is above （or below） a threshold value. Parameter zones for the occurrence of reversed flow are presented.

Polyamide-baghouse dust nanocomposite for removal of methylene blue and metals:Characterization,kinetic,thermodynamic and regeneration

In this research,polyamide modified baghouse dust nanocomposite(PMBhD)was synthesized from steel industry waste using the interfacial polymerization *** capacities of the PMBhD were examined for the uptake of cadmium Cd(Ⅱ),lead Pb(Ⅱ),and methylene blue MB from simulated *** effects of different operational factors of the adsorption,including contact time,ph,adsorbent dosage,initial concentration,and temperature,were *** obtained results revealed that the equilibrium data of MB,Pb(Ⅱ),and Cd(Ⅱ)were best fitted to Dubinin-Radushkevich,Langmuir,and Freundlich *** removal uptake was found to be 6.08,119,and 234 mg·g^(-1),whereas maximum removal efficiencies of 90%,99.8%,and 98%were achieved for MB,Pb(Ⅱ),and Cd(Ⅱ).Adsorption kinetics of MB and metals well-fitted to the pseudo-second-order *** characterization results showed the presence of polymeric chain on the surface of the *** thermodynamic study revealed that the values of the free energy DG for Pb(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)were found to be negative,which indicates spontaneous,energetic,and favorable *** for MB removal,positive values of(DG)were noticed,which implies that the adsorption was *** proposed mechanism for the adsorption of MB and metals on the PMBhD showed that the dominating mechanism is *** adsorption/desorption results verified the high reusability of the PMBhD for adsorption of MB and metals.
