A 39-year-old m.le was adm.tted for recurrent ischem.c strokes. TEE was perform.d to detect the potential intra-cardiac throm.i and right-to-left shunts. A large hyperm.bile, echodense, irregular m.ss was found in the right atrium. which looked like a cluster of grapes. The m.tion of the com.onents of the m.ss was synchronized, prolapsing into right ventricle in an octopus-like fashion during diastole. There was no evidence for PFO or other intra-cardiac shunts by color flow Doppler. The patient was referred to surgery and a continuous 30 cm.long throm.us spanning from.the inferior vena cava to the right ventricle was discovered.

The present study is devoted to understanding the evolution of the Upper Jurassic Sab'atayn Form.tion in the m.rib-Shabwa Basin,Yem.n,through a sequence stratigraphic analysis based on integrating datasets of sedim.ntology,seism.c sections,and well *** Sab'atayn Form.tion(Tithonian age)is represented by a series of clastic and evaporites that were deposited under fluvio-deltaic to prodeltaic *** is divided into four m.m.ers including Yah(at the base),upwards to Seen,Alif,and Safir at the *** third-order depositional sequences were determ.ned for the Tithonian succession which were separated by three sequence *** sequences were classified into their system. tracts signifying several sedim.ntation patterns of progradational,aggradational,and retrogradational parasequence *** first depositional sequence corresponds to the early-m.ddle Tithonian Yah and Seen units that can be classified into lowstand,transgressive,and highstand system. *** second sequence com.rises the late Tithonian Alif unit that can be subdivided into transgressive and highstand system. *** sandy deposits of the Alif m.m.er(highstand deposits)represent the m.st productive hydrocarbon reservoir in the *** Upper Jurassic sedim.nts in the study area were resulted from.a com.ination of eustatic and tectonic effects.

The increased adoption of Internet of m.dical Things (Iom.) technologies has resulted in the widespread use ofBody Area Networks (BANs) in m.dical and non-m.dical dom.ins. However, the perform.nce of IEEE 802.15.4-based BANs is im.acted by challenges related to heterogeneous data traffic requirem.nts am.ng nodes, includingcontention during finite backoff periods, association delays, and traffic channel access through clear channelassessm.nt (CCA) algorithm.. These challenges lead to increased packet collisions, queuing delays, retransm.ssions,and the neglect of critical traffic, thereby hindering perform.nce indicators such as throughput, packet deliveryratio, packet drop rate, and packet delay. Therefore, we propose Dynam.c Next Backoff Period and Clear ChannelAssessm.nt (DNBP-CCA) schem.s to address these issues. The DNBP-CCA schem.s leverage a com.ination ofthe Dynam.c Next Backoff Period (DNBP) schem. and the Dynam.c Next Clear Channel Assessm.nt (DNCCA)schem.. The DNBP schem. em.loys a fuzzy Takagi, Sugeno, and Kang (TSK) m.del’s inference system.toquantitatively analyze backoff exponent, channel clearance, collision ratio, and data rate as input param.ters. Onthe other hand, the DNCCA schem. dynam.cally adapts the CCA process based on requested data transm.ssion tothe coordinator, considering input param.ters such as buffer status ratio and acknowledgem.nt ratio. As a result,sim.lations dem.nstrate that our proposed schem.s are better than som. existing representative approaches andenhance data transm.ssion, reduce node collisions, im.rove average throughput, and packet delivery ratio, anddecrease average packet drop rate and packet delay.

Colonoscopy is an integral part of the lower bowel care and is generally considered a potentially safe diagnostic and therapeutic procedure perform.d as a daycare outpatient *** is associated with different com.lications that are not lim.ted to adverse events related to the bowel preparation solutions used,the sedatives used,but to the procedure related as well including bleeding and *** to the extra-lum.nal abdom.nal organs during colonoscopy are uncom.on,however,serious com.lications related to the procedure have been reported infrequently in the *** threatening injuries to the spleen,liver,pancreas,m.sentery,and urinary bladder have been reported as early as in *** injuries should not be overlooked by clinicians and *** increasing abdom.nal pain,abdom.nal distension,and hem.dynam.c instability in absence of rectal bleeding should raise the possibility of severe organ *** and hepatic injury following colonoscopy are usually serious and m.y be life *** conservative m.nagem.nt m.y help,yet they usually need interventional radiology or surgical *** pancreatitis following colonoscopy is usually m.ld and is m.stly m.naged *** m.chanism.of abdom.nal organ injuries during colonoscopy is not fully understood,however m.ny risk factors have been identified,which can be classified as-organ related,procedure related,and local abdom.nal *** colonoscopy and prior intra-abdom.nal adhesions are probably the m.st relevant risk factors for these *** lateral position,avoidance of looping and excessive force during the procedure would probably reduce the risk of such injuries.

Side lobe level reduction(SLL)of antenna arrays significantly enhances the signal-to-interference ratio and im.roves the quality of service(QOS)in recent and future wireless com.unication system. starting from.5G up to ***,it im.roves the array gain and directivity,increasing the detection range and angular resolution of radar *** study proposes two highly efficient SLL reduction *** techniques are based on the hybridization between either the single convolution or the double convolution algorithm. and the genetic algorithm.GA)to develop the Conv/GA andDConv/GA,*** convolution process determ.nes the elem.nt’s excitations while the GA optim.zes the elem.nt *** m.elem.nts linear antenna array(LAA),the convolution of the excitation coefficients vector by itself provides a new vector of excitations of length N=(2m.1).This new vector is divided into three different sets of excitations including the odd excitations,even excitations,and m.ddle excitations of lengths m.m.1,andm.*** the sam. elem.nt spacing as the original LAA is used,it is noticed that the odd and even excitations provide a m.ch lower SLL than that of the LAA but with am.ch wider half-power beam.idth(HPBW).While the m.ddle excitations give the sam. HPBWas the original LAA with a relatively higher *** the increased HPBWof the odd and even excitations,the elem.nt spacing is optim.zed using the ***,the synthesized arrays have the sam. Nitrogen(N) fertilizers in agriculture suffer losses by volatilization of N to the air, surface runoff and leaching into the soil, resulting in low N use efficiency(NUE)( 50%) and raising severe environm.ntal pollutions. Controlledrelease nitrogen fertilizers(CRNFs) can control the release of N nutrients to NUE in crop production. Different m.thods were used to develop new ***, different CRNF technologies are still underdeveloped due to inadequate controlling on N releasing tim. and/or unsustainable diffusion. The study on the influences of CRNF processing param.ters on m.crobial conditions are lacking when the CRNFs com.osed of various bio-ingredients such as biochar, com.osts, and biowaste. The com.lexity of processing m.thods, m.terial biodegradability, and other physical properties m.ke current CRNFs of questionable value in agricultural production. This research aim. to develop a novel biochar-com.ost-based controlled-release urea fertilizer(BCRUF) to preserve m.crobial properties carried by the com.ost. The BCRUF was synthesized by pelletizing the 50:50(dry, wt/wt) m.xture of biochar and com.ost. BCRUF was loaded with urea and then spray-coated with polylactic acid(PLA). The releasing tim. of two types of BCRUFs, coated and uncoated with PLA, for 80% of N release in water was up to 6 h at three different tem.eratures(4, 23, and 40 °C), com.ared to conventional urea fertilizer and com.ercial environm.ntally sm.rt N(ESN) fertilizer. The releasing tim. of coated BCRUF for 80% N release in soil was up to 192 h(8 days). Fourier-transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) analysis revealed that no new functional groups were found in the release solution, indicating no new chem.cal hazards generated. The differential scanning calorim.try(DSC)tests also verified that its therm.l stability could be up to 160 °C. Extended‐spectrum.‐lactam.se(ESBL)‐producing Escherichia coli(***)are widespread in China,with occurrences docum.nted in hum.ns,anim.ls,and the *** dissem.nation of ESBL‐producing *** is likely facilitated by the widespread use of antibiotics in hum.n and anim.l agriculture,the presence of antibiotic‐resistant bacteria(ARBs)in anim.l feces,and close hum.n‐anim.l ***,particularly those belonging to incom.atibility(Inc)group,such as IncF,IncI,and IncH fam.lies,play a vital role in facilitating the horizontal gene transfer of ESBL genes across various sectors,from.hum.ns to anim.ls and the *** 26 and IS 1 elem.nts also significantly influences the m.bilization and evolution of antibiotic‐resistance genes(ARGs),contributing to the spread of ESBL‐producing ***‐m.14,blaCTX-15,and blaCTX‐m.55 are prevalent in ESBL‐producing *** across the three dom.ins and are often found in con-junction with other *** these challenges,it is im.erative to take proactive m.asures to prevent the further spread of *** includes the judicious and responsible use of antibiotics and efforts to m.ni-m.ze contact with anim.l ***‐specific strategies should be developed to effectively educate and engage relevant personnel in tackling this m.ltifaceted *** efforts are vital to com.at the dissem.ination of ESBL‐producing *** and preserve public health.

Synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (Zn-NPs) via green m.thod is an outstanding alternative to conventional/regular m.thods; however， the safety or toxicity of the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs in vivo is not fully explored. This study was conducted to evaluate the protective efficiency of cinnam.ldehyde-loaded chitosan nanoparticles (Cin@CSNPs) against oxidative dam.ge and genotoxicity of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) in m.ce. ZnO-NPs were biosynthesized using the extract of fresh leaves of m.ntha pulegium.L. Cin was extracted from.cinnam.n essential oil， and was loaded into chitosan nanoparticle (Cin@CSNPs). Both ZnO-NPs， Cin@CSNPs and CSNPs were characterized. The in vitro release of Cin@CSNPs was determ.ned. In the biological study， 6 groups of m.le Balb/c m.ce were treated by gavage for 3 weeks as follows， control group， the group received ZnO-NPs (25 m./kg b.w)， the groups received Cin@CSNPs at low dose (50 m./kg b.w) or high dose (100 m./kg b.w)， and the groups received ZnO-NPs plus Cin@CSNPs at the two tested doses. Blood and tissue sam.les were collected for different biochem.cal， genetical and histological studies. The particle size of ZnO-NPs， CSNPs， and Cin@CSNPs were (20.78 ± 2.6)， (170.0 ± 3.7)， and (218.23 ± 2.9) nm. and ξ-potential were (32.7 ± 4.6)， (8.32 ± 0.27) and (4.8 ± 0.21)， respectively. ZnO-NPs disturbed the biochem.cal and oxidative stress indices， AFP， CEA， TNF-α， chrom.som.l aberrations in som.tic and germ.cells， and sperm.abnorm.lity along with severe pathological changes in the hepatic， renal， and testicular tissues. Cin@CSNPs im.roved significantly all the param.ters tested and the histological picture in a dose-dependent. Therefore， the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs exhibit oxidative dam.ge and genotoxicity， and Cin@CSNPs have potential protective effects against the risks of ZnO-NPs and m.y be a prom.sing tool to overcom. the challenges of using Cin in food and pharm.ceuticals applications.

Plasm. processes are am.ng the em.rging technologies for volatile organic com.ounds (VOCs) abatem.nt[1]. Both therm.l plasm.s and non-equilibrium.plasm.s (cold plasm.s) are being developed for VOCs cleanup[2,3]. Particularly, pulsed corona discharges offer several advantages over conventional VOCs abatem.nt techniques[4-7]. To optim.ze the existing technology and to develop it further, there is need to understand the m.chanism. involved in plasm. chem.cal reactions. Furtherm.re, it is strongly desirable to be able to predict the behavior of new VOCs in non-equilibrium.plasm. environm.nt from.the data known for a few representative com.ounds. Pulsed corona discharge technique is introduced here with citation of relevant literature. Fundam.ntal principles, useful for predicting the VOCs' decom.osition behavior, have been worked out from.the published literature. Latest developm.nts in the area, targeted to m.nim.ze the energy losses, im.rove the VOCs destruction efficiency and reduce the generation of unwanted organic and inorganic by-products, are presented.
