A POSTERIORI ERROR ANALYSIS OF A FULLY-MIXED FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR A TWO-DIMENSIONAL FLUID-SOLID INTERACTION PROBLEM

In this paper we develop an a posteriori error analysis of a fully-mixed finite element method for a fluid-solid interaction problem in 2D. The media are governed by the elas-todynamic and acoustic equations in time-harmonic regime, respectively, the transmission conditions are given by the equilibrium of forces and the equality of the corresponding normal displacements, and the fluid is supposed to occupy an annular region surrounding the solid, so that a Robin boundary condition imitating the behavior of the sommerfeld condition is imposed on its exterior boundary. Dual-mixed approaches are applied in both domains, and the governing equations are employed to eliminate the displacenent a of the solid and the pressure p of the fluid. In addition, since both transmission conditions become essential, they are enforced weakly by means of two suitable lahrange multipliers The unknowns of the solid and the fluid are then approximated by a conforming galerkin scheme defined in terms of PEERS elements in the solid, Raviart-Thomas of lowest order in the fluid, and continuous piecewise linear functions on the boundary, As the main con-tribution of this work, we derive a reliable and efficient residual-based a posteriori error estimator for the aforedescribed coupled problem. Some numerical results confirming the properties of the estimator are also reported.

The paper presents a robust parallel distributed compensation （PDC） fuzzy controller for a nonlinear and certain system in continuous time described by the Tal^gi-Sugeno （T-S） fuzzy model. This controller is based on a new type of time-varying fuzzy sets （TVFS）. These fuzzy sets are characterized by displacement of the kernels to the right or left of the universe of discourse, and they are directed by a well-defined criterion. In this work, we only focused on the movement of midpoint of the universe. The movements of this midpoint are optimized by particle swarm optimization （PSO） approach.

全球化的发展日新月异,处于新兴市场国家的印尼正逐步融入全球经济,企业纷纷加大了国际化步伐。印尼企业董事会是企业战略决策和实施的主体,在实施国际化战略中发挥了重要的作用。已有研究较少以印尼企业为研究对象探讨公司治理结构、国际化战略对企业绩效的影响。本研究以印尼制造业上市公司为研究对象,整合高阶梯队理论、资源依赖理论,通过理论模型构建,假设提出和实证检验,探讨董事背景、国际化战略与企业绩效的关系,将丰富相关研究内容。本研究首先对研究对象即印尼制造业进行实际背景的阐述,同时对相关理论背景进行整理以及归纳,根据研究背景提出研究问题以及目标后,进一步针对研究主题进行文献综述和分析,从而提炼出本研究主题的主要假设。基于以上思路,针对本研究设计研究模型以及具体分析方法,同时利用所获得并且整理后的二手数据,2016-2020年印尼制造业上市公司数据,运用Stata16进行统计分析。对本研究假设进行检验以及确保研究的稳健性。最后对于本研究结果进行总结并且提出有效建议以及研究展望。研究结果表明:第一、海外工作背景董事对于企业绩效有正向影响;第二、关联背景董事对企业绩效有负向影响,但具有海外经历的关联背景董事对企业绩效有正向影响;第三、国际化程度在海外工作背景董事与企业绩效之间具有部分中介作用。本研究成果不仅丰富了公司治理、国际化战略的研究内容,拓展了高阶梯队理论应用空间,而且还为印尼制造企业国际化提供理论指导,帮助企业顺利进入国际市场,不断提高国际竞争力。

由于机场基础设施的发展,塞拉利昂的航空运输需求大大增加。随着塞拉利昂航班增加,洲际贸易、旅客、货物在区域内外部开始流通。因此,航班运营达到了一个不同层面。研究表明,塞拉利昂作为一个西非国家,在空中航线方面接近南美,从塞拉利昂到巴西、阿根廷和南美国家的航线比连通其他国家的航线要短。现在,机场正处于转型阶段,为符合国际法规,需要做大量的工作。因此,本文旨在通过分析机场的拓扑特征和运营性能,评估航空公司的航线和飞行效率。拓扑特征和运营性能是航空运输系统的主要组成部分。延误和拓扑指标是机场任何航班运行的基本考虑因素。然而,目前在弗里敦国际机场还没有关于这个主题的研究。机场运行的航班在航班延误、航空公司航线连接方面每天都会经历巨大的周转损失,因此这项研究具有重要的意义,它将有助于填补现有研究的空白,并为机场的运营性能和飞行效率提供宝贵见解。本文使用了一个飞行记录电子表格来捕捉所有到达和离开的航班信息。历史数据也从机场专门为空管人员设计的空管部门收集。此外,本文获得了运营经理的许可,并雇佣了机场的工作人员进入空侧,对一个月内到达和离开FNA的所有航班进行了现场调查。在调查过程中,收集了关于航班周转时间、卸货和装货所需时间、加油所需时间、基本维护(如果需要)所需时间、机组成员准备时间等信息。通过总结并计算时间差,将时间差与计划时间相比较,能够确定航班到达和离开的实际时间。为了进一步补充研究的数据收集工作,访问了每个航空公司,以获得关于乘客量的历史数据。此外,通过访问塞拉利昂民航局,获得有关航空线路网络的数据。通过访问国际民用航空组织(ICAO)的网站,获得了关于机场网络的数据。对这些数据进行了有效分析,结果见表4.2和表4.3。表5.13和表5.14分别列出了2021年各航空公司的进港和出港旅客量百分比,以及进港和出港延误分析。从国际民航组织网站获得的数据被用来生成图4所示的网络图。本文通过预测季节性分解来分析数据,因为更多的延误通常发生在特定的月份,假设加性季节影响,并产生了季节性因素,通过创建传统模型进行分析。在研究过程中,我回顾了一些以前与航空运输的拓扑特征和运营性能有关的工作。大多数的工作回顾都是基于拓扑指标和飞行操作性能,其中机场被归类为节点,这些机场之间的联系被称为边。我的研究工作被分为两类(1)拓扑特征,和(2)运营性能。我建立并分析了机场网络,该机场网络能够对网络特征进行详细描述。根据网络内的乘客量分析,我意识到随着时间的推移,乘客量会发生变化。根据SPSS分析得到的数据显示,当交通量比现在增加或扩大时,网络会有一个增长。最近FNA的基础设施发展表明,交通量肯定会增加,因此未来肯定需要进行研究。一些论文回顾了复杂的网络分析,与我的研究不同的是,网络内的航线和乘客量都很小,因此,最近机场基础设施的改善表明,将有更多的航班从许多国家抵达,导致网络的扩大和乘客量的增加,因此,我的研究只是未来航空运输和复杂分析研究的垫脚石。

Abdominal compartment syndrome:Often overlooked conditions in medical intensive care units

Intra-abdominal hypertension(IAH)and abdominal compartment syndrome are well recognized entities among surgical patients.Nevertheless,a number of prospective and retrospective observational studies have shown that IAH is prevalent in about half of the critically ill patients in the medical intensive care units(ICU)and has been widely recognized as an independent risk factor for mortality.It is alarming to note that many members of the critical care team in medical ICU are not aware of the consequences of untreated IAH and the delay in making the diagnosis leads to increased morbidity and mortality.Frequently it is underdiagnosed and undertreated in this patient population.Elevated intraabdominal pressure decreases the blood flow to the kidneys and other abdominal viscera and also results in reduced cardiac output and difficulties in ventilating the patient because of increased intrathoracic pressure.When intraabdominal hypertension is not promptly recognized and treated,it leads to abdominal compartment syndrome,multiorgan dysfunction syndrome and death.Large volume fluid resuscitation is very common in medical ICU patients presenting with sepsis,shock and other inflammatory conditions like pancreatitis and it is one of the major risk factors for the development of intra-abdominal hypertension.This article presents an overview of the epidemiology,definitions,risk factors,pathophysiology and management of IAH and abdominal compartment syndrome in critically ill medical ICU patients.

Sex education for adolescents:Indonesian nurse educators’experience as parents

Objectives:Sex education toward adolescent remains the most controversial subject due to the various thoughts and ideas of different values present in society.Nurse educators as parents must exemplify sex education to their children.The aim of this present study was to explore parents’experience,with nurse educators background to be exact,on how they convey sex education to their children.Methods:This study is a descriptive qualitative study,and the sample is recruited by using the purposive sampling technique.The qualified participants filled in the informed consent,provided demographic data,and were interviewed.Saturation data were obtained at the 6th interview in this study.The interview is transcribed to find themes and subthemes using conventional content analysis.Results:We derived 3 main themes:parents’approach,sex education topic,and children’s reaction.Parents’approach contained 4 subthemes,namely,gender match,parent-child closeness,media,and attitude.Sex education topic included 5 subthemes of bodily autonomy,health and safety,reproductive anatomy,puberty-related changes,and how to maintain healthiness.Children’s reaction experiences also included 4 subthemes of uncomfortable,questioning,acknowledging,and laughing.Conclusions:As a matter of fact,some parents in eastern countries,such as Indonesia,conveyed sex education to their children.Children might have various reactions to that topic,but it is important to keep them safe,especially in reproductive health,regardless of the culture or tradition.Based on nurse educators as exemplifiers,nurses and nursing students might acquire the picture in conveying sex education to adolescents.

Spectral transformation-based technique for reducing effect of limited pre-correlation bandwidth in the GNSS receiver filter in presence of noise and multipath

This paper proposes an efficient scheme to reduce the pre-correlation bandwidth effect in the global navigation satellite system(GNSS)receiver filtering process.It is mainly based on the application of a spectral transformation to the satellite-emitted signal that effectively reduces its band.At the receiver's end,this operation causes the spreading of noise over a much wider band than that used by the radio frequency stage.Consequently,the resulting auto-correlation function in the acquisition process acquires properties that enhance considerably the performance of the receiver in the presence of the multipath and noise disturbing phenomena.The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method is a plausible solution for both multipath and noise problems in the GNSS applications for any limited value of the pre-correlation bandwidth in the receiver filter.

The Impact of Sun Radiation on the Thermal Comfort in Highly Glazed Buildings Equipped with Floor Heating Systems

Occupants of highly glazed buildings often suffer from thermal discomfort during the mid-seasons when no shadings are used in such buildings,especially when inertial heating systems are used.The present study is devoted to evaluating the impact of long solar beam exposure on the internal thermal discomfort in glazed spaces when heating is implemented through a floor system.A comprehensive experimental study is carried out using an experimental bi-climatic chamber which is fully monitored and controlled,allowing realistic simulations of the dynamic movement of the sun patch on a heated slab.The findings show that a period of discomfort as long as 8 h can occur,and persist far after the sunbeam exposure stops.During this period,the heating slab’s surface temperature,considered from an average point of view,can attain 34°C while the indoor temperature reaches 26°C.Simulations conducted using a previously developed model display a good fit with the measurements.

Non-clostridium difficile induced pseudomembranous colitis

Pseudomembranous colitis is severe inflammation of the inner lining of the colon due to anoxia,ischemia,endothelial damage,and toxin production.The majority of cases of pseudomembranous colitis are due to Clostridium difficile.However,other causative pathogens and agents have been responsible for causing a similar pattern of injury to the bowel with the endoscopic appearance of yellow-white plaques and membranes on the mucosal surface of the colon.Common presenting symptoms and signs include crampy abdominal pain,nausea,watery diarrhea that can progress to bloody diarrhea,fever,leukocytosis,and dehydration.Negative testing for Clostridium difficile or failure to improve on treatment should prompt evaluation for other causes of pseudomembranous colitis.Bacterial infections other than Clostridium difficile,Viruses such as cytomegalovirus,parasitic infections,medications,drugs,chemicals,inflammatory diseases,and ischemia are other differential diagnoses to look out for in pseudomembranous colitis.Complications of pseudomembranous colitis include toxic megacolon,hypotension,colonic perforation with peritonitis,and septic shock with organ failure.Early diagnosis and treatment to prevent progression are important.The central perspective of this paper is to provide a concise review of the various etiologies for pseudomembranous colitis and management per prior literature.
