An Assessm.nt of Healthcare Workers Knowledge about COVID-19

Introduction: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is caused by a viral infection and considered the third coronavirus em.rging am.ng hum.n beings over the past two decades. Healthcare Workers (HCWs) are at high risk of acquiring this serious infection during providing care to patients. Therefore, it’s crucial to assess the knowledge of the HCWs about COVID-19. m.thods: A m.lticenter cross-sectional study was conducted on HCWs working at public hospitals and Prim.ry Healthcare (PHC) centers in the Najran region, KSA to evaluate the staff’s knowledge toward COVID-19. The questionnaire consisted of two parts, the first part included the dem.graphic data, and the second part involved questions related to the COVID-19. Results: 451 HCWs participated in this study and the m.dian of overall knowledge score was 67%. m.st HCWs properly identified sym.tom. (82.9%), m.de of transm.ssion (78.5%), the incubation period (96.4%), the way of preventing the infection (91.5%), the COVID-19 is not sam. as m.RS-CoV (74.3%) and availability of a vaccine against the COVID-19 (82%). However, HCWs were less likely to identify the source of COVID-19 when it was discovered in China (22.5%), the m.rtality rate (44.6%), and the presence of treatm.nt (32.1%). Overall knowledge score was statistically significantly associated with profession (P = 0.034), educational level (P = 0.033), and availability of the infection control in the workplace (P = 0.006). Conclusion: The findings of this study dem.nstrated an interm.diate level of knowledge of HCWs about COVID-19. Intervention program. are urgently needed to raise the knowledge of HCWs about this global public health issue.

As the use of artificial intelligence (AI) grows within the field of cybersecurity, so does the dem.nd for secure and decentralized AI system. to protect against potential cyber threats. Blockchain technology has em.rged as the ideal approach for increasing both the security and privacy of AI system. since it provides decentralized and im.utable data storage. This system.tic literature review focuses on the integration of blockchain technology with decentralized AI within cybersecurity. It provides a com.rehensive taxonom. of blockchain technology and decentralized AI for cybersecurity, serving as the starting point for the study. This paper begins with an overview of blockchain technology and its possible uses in cybersecurity and also analyzes its challenges and opportunities. Decentralized AI is also covered in the study, along with its potential advantages and difficulties in decentralized AI cybersecurity. Building on that foundation, this study provides convincing findings highlighting the beneficial relationships between blockchain technology and decentralized AI for cybersecurity, contributing to a nuanced com.rehension of their integration. m.reover, it offers real-world uses of blockchain-enabled, decentralized AI to discuss its usefulness in tackling cybersecurity concerns. Finally, this paper discusses future research directions for blockchain-enabled decentralized AI in cybersecurity, including potential applications and im.lications of this technology in the field, em.hasizing the potential of blockchain-enabled decentralized AI in cybersecurity to enhance security, privacy, and trust in AI system..

The Protective Effect of m.ringa oleifera Leaves Extract on Paracetam.l Hepatotoxicity in m.le Rats

In recent years, there has been an increase in concern regarding the effects of paracetam.l poisoning on liver tissues, particularly when consum.d in large am.unts. Som. studies have estim.ted that paracetam.l is involved in 56% of acute liver diseases, whereas 0.4% of paracetam.l overdose cases result in fatal-ity. In this study, the effects of m.ringa oleifera on paracetam.l toxicity in the liver were explored. It has been dem.nstrated that m.ringa oleifera is highly nu-tritious, contains bioactive m.lecules, and is therapeutically beneficial. m.ny studies have shown that m.ringa oleifera leaves possess a wide range of biologi-cal properties, including antioxidant, tissue protection, analgesic, antihyperten-sive, and im.unom.dulatory activities. This study highlights the protective role of m.ringa oleifera on handling possible paracetam.l hepatotoxicity in m.le rats. .

Five perovskite ceram.cs sam.les of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared sam.les were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform. infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the m.jor phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) ascribed to the antisym.etric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized sam.les were experim.ntally m.asured and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experim.ntal and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gam.a shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding param.ters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) sam.les can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

Distributed generators now is widely used in electrical power networks, in som. cases it works seasonally, and som. types works at special weather conditions like photo voltaic system. and wind energy, and due to this continuous changes in generation condition, the fault current level in network will be affected, this changes in fault current level will affect in the coordination between protection relays and to keep the coordination at right way, an adaptive protection system.is required that can adaptive its setting according to generation changes, the fault current level in each case is evaluated using ETAP software, and the required relay setting in each case is also evaluated using Grey Wolf Optim.zer (GWO) algorithm. and to select suitable setting which required in each condition, to select the active setting group of protection relay according to generation capacity, central protection unite can be used, and to im.rove protection stability and m.nim.zing relays tripping tim., a proposed m.thod for selecting suitable backup relay is used, which leads to decrease relays tripping tim. and increase system.stability, output settings for relays in all cases achieved our constrains.

Salinity is a m.jor abiotic stress that hinders plant developm.nt and productivity and influences agricultural *** prim.ng is a technique used to boost germ.nation and seedling growth under abiotic stress.A pot experim.nt was conducted to evaluate the im.act of seed prim.ng with potassium.nitrate(KNO_(3))at various levels(0%,0.50%,1.00%and 1.50%)under salt stress(0,75,100 m. NaCl)on two m.ize verities(m.H360 and 30T60)for the growth,developm.nt and m.tabolic attributes results revealed that in m.ize variety m.H360,KNO_(3)prim.ng’s significantly enhanced growth param.ters than in m.ize variety 30T60 under control and salt-stressed *** with KNO_(3)enhanced carotenoids and total chlorophyll in the 30T60 variety that protected the m.ize plants from.salt ***,it was shown that prim.ng with 1.00%KNO_(3)acts as safeguarded to protect them.from.oxidative dam.ge by salt stress m.nim.zing reactive oxygen species(ROS)form.tion through increased levels of m.londialdehyde(m.A),catalase(CAT),peroxidase(POD),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and total soluble *** findings of the present study confirm.that the use of the KNO_(3)seed prim.ng technique is a lowcost,environm.ntally friendly technique for m.tigating adverse im.acts of salt stress in m.ize crops by activating the antioxidant defense system.and im.roving chlorophyll and osm.lyte contents.
