Evaluation of hybrid closed-loop insulin delivery system in type 1 diabetes in real-world clinical practice:One-year observational study

随着全球能源危机和环境污染日益加剧,开发可持续的绿色能源技术已经成为当务之急.其中,水分解制氢作为一种清洁能源的生产方式,因其零排放和高能量密度的特点,而受到广泛的研究和关注.析氢反应(HER)和析氧反应(OER)是水分解过程的关键步骤,它们的反应效率直接影响整个制氢过程的能量转换效率.因此,开发高效的双功能电催化剂对于推动水分解技术的发展具有重要意义.本文制备了一种超低Ru掺杂的新型核壳纳米结构电催化剂,该催化剂生长在泡沫镍(NF)上,简称Ru-NimoO_(4)@Ni_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)/NF.首先,通过水热法在NF上均匀生长了水合NimoO_(4)纳米柱,并通过共价相互作用,确保其在垂直方向上有序排列.随后,采用超低浓度的RuCl_(3)对NimoO_(4)纳米柱进行蚀刻,并通过磷酸化反应引入(PO_(4))^(3+)离子形成了Ni_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)壳层.这种设计克服了以往Ru易团聚的难题,保障了Ru的均匀分布,从而合成Ru-NimoO_(4)@Ni_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)/NF催化剂.通过X-射线衍射、X-射线光电子能谱及透射电子显微镜等对催化剂的化学组分和微观结构进行了分析,证实其成功制备.元素分析结果表明,催化剂中Ru的含量仅为1.94 wt%,显著降低了其制备成本.电化学测试结果表明,该催化剂在HER和OER中均表现出较好的催化活性.在10和100 mA cm^(−2)电流密度下,HER的过电位分别为−14.8和−57.1 mV,Tafel斜率为35.8 mV dec^(-1),优于商业Pt/C催化剂;在100 mA cm^(−2)电流密度下,OER过电位为259.7 mV,Tafel斜率为21.6 mV dec^(−1),优于商业RuO_(2)催化剂.在全水解测试中,该催化剂在10和100 mA cm^(−2)时所需的电池电压分别为1.43和1.68 V,与其他自支撑材料相比表现出良好的性能.此外,该催化剂在150 h性能测试过程中表现出较好的稳定性.采用密度泛函理论计算研究了催化剂具有较好活性的内在机制.结果表明,其具有低水离解能垒(ΔGb=0.46 eV),接近零的HER自由吸附能(∆G*H=0.02 eV),低的OER自由吸附能量(ΔG*OOH−ΔG*OH=2.74 eV)和接近费米能级的高密度态.这些特性共同促进了电解水反应的高效进行.综上,本文研究开发的Ru-NimoO_(4)@Ni_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)/NF双功能催化剂具有较好的催化活性、低电位需求和长期稳定性,为氢气生产开辟了新途径,也为优化双功能水分解催化剂提供了新视角,并为未来可持续能源应用发展提供一定的参考.

Recently,deep learning(DL)became one of the essential tools in bioinformatics.A modified convolutional neural network(CNN)is employed in this paper for building an integratedmodel for deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)*** any CNN model,convolutional layers are used to extract features followed by max-pooling layers to reduce the dimensionality of features.A novel method based on downsampling and CNNs is introduced for feature *** downsampling is an improved form of the existing pooling layer to obtain better classification *** two-dimensional discrete transform(2D DT)and two-dimensional random projection(2D RP)methods are applied for *** convert the high-dimensional data to low-dimensional data and transform the data to the most significant feature ***,there are parameters which directly affect how a CNN model is *** this paper,some issues concerned with the training of CNNs have been *** CNNs are examined by changing some hyperparameters such as the learning rate,size of minibatch,and the number of *** and assessment of the performance of CNNs are carried out on 16S rRNA bacterial *** results indicate that the utilization of a CNN based on wavelet subsampling yields the best trade-off between processing time and accuracy with a learning rate equal to 0.0001,a size of minibatch equal to 64,and a number of epochs equal to 20.

Delay for Performing Laparotomy for Extra Uterine Pregnancy in N’Djamena mother and Child University Hospital

Background: Ectopic pregnancy is defined as any pregnancy developed outside the uterine cavity. Objective: to study the relationship between the duration of laparotomy for EP and maternal prognosis. Patients and method. This was a prospective analytical study performed during a period of six (06) months, from may 1st to October 30, 2023, on delay time to perform laparotomy for EP in N’Djamena mother and child University hospital (NmCUH). We included in this series all patients admitted for EP managed by laparotomy. Data were collected using Word software and analyzed using SPSS 18.0 version 2018. The p value statistical test was used to compare variables (p significant if ≤5%). Results: We recorded 92 cases of EP out of 5751 pregnancies, giving a frequency of 1.6%. Among patients diagnosed with EP, 76/92 (82.6%) had an indication of laparotomy. In 90.8%, the EP was ruptured. On admission, the diagnosis of EP was made within 1 hour in 15.8% of cases. The time to sign the consent allowing doctor to operate was >1 hour in 14.5% of cases. The operating room was unavailable in 34.2% of cases, with an unavailability of >1 hour in 17.1% of cases. Total salpingectomy was performed in 93.4%. Salpingotomy was performed in 6.6%. The lethality rate was 3.9% with significant value when the delay after indication and admission in the operating room is >1 (p value = 0.03). Conclusion: Various factors, such as the search for blood products, the time loss to sign the consent form and the unavailability of the operating room, delay the laparotomy, influence maternal prognosis. Anticipation on these factors is necessary in order to limit the proportion of delays.

Improved Supervised and Unsupervised metaheuristic-Based Approaches to Detect Intrusion in Various Datasets

Delayed Grafting as a Valid Technique in Burn management: Experience from a Burn Unit in Oman

Background: Early excision and grafting has been the preferred method of managing major burns around the world since 1970. Considering the advances in health care and the development of new antibiotics over the past 50 years, delayed grafting as a technique for the management of burns over 15%-20% of total body surface area (TBSA) could have comparable results to that of early excision. This study aims to highlight the outcomes of practicing delayed grafting in burn patients. methods: A case series analysis was performed of 51 patients who were admitted to the burns unit in Sultan Qaboos Hospital Salalah with over 20% TBSA between January 2014 and December 2019. The patients received prophylactic antibiotics and silver sulphadiazine dressing until the burn eschar had completely separated, followed by grafting. Results: Two patients were lost during the entire duration of the study. The mortality rate was comparable to that of early excision, while the rate of hypertrophic scarring was lower than the range reported by other studies. Conclusion: In the management of patients with over 20% TBSA, delayed grafting after complete separation of eschar is still a valid technique.

Price Prediction of Seasonal Items Using machine Learning and Statistical methods

Price prediction of goods is a vital point of research due to how common e-commerce platforms *** are several efforts conducted to forecast the price of items using classicmachine learning algorithms and *** models can predict prices of various financial instruments,e.g.,gold,oil,cryptocurrencies,stocks,and second-hand *** these efforts,the literature has no model for predicting the prices of seasonal goods(e.g.,Christmas gifts).In this context,we framed the task of seasonal goods price prediction as a regression ***,we utilized a real online trailer dataset of Christmas gifts and then we proposed several machine learningbased models and one statistical-based model to predict the prices of these seasonal ***,we utilized a real-life dataset of Christmas gifts for the prediction ***,we proposed support vector regressor(SVR),linear regression,random forest,and ridgemodels as machine learningmodels for price ***,we proposed an autoregressive-integrated-movingaverage(ARImA)model for the same purpose as a statistical-based ***,we evaluated the performance of the proposed models;the comparison shows that the best performing model was the random forest model,followed by the ARImA model.

Effect of Pd or Ir on the catalytic performance of mo/H-ZSm-5 during the non-oxidative conversion of natural gas to petrochemicals

Natural gas conversion to petrochemicals, principally, benzene, naphthalene, toluene, as well as ethylene under non-oxidative conditions was examined in a fixed bed flow reactor at 700 ℃ and gaseous hourly space velocity （GHSV） of 1500 ml·g ^-1·h^-1 at time-on-stream ranging from 5 rain to 4 h using catalysts containing 6.0%mo/H-ZSm-5 promoted with Pd or Ir metal. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPD, and TGA. The addition of Pd or Ir to 6%mo/H-ZSm-5 catalyst promoted ethylene production but inhibited the cyclization reaction to aromatics owing to the strong interaction between these noble metals and the framework Al species, which were attached to the acid sites during the impregnation process. Coke deposition on the catalysts was found to decrease upon addition of 0.5wt% of Pd or Ir to 6%mo/H-ZSm-5 catalyst owing to the hydrogenating activity of these metals.
