It is still a challenge to simultaneously enhance coercivity(H_(cj))and remanence(J_(r))of hot-deformed Nd-Fe-B magnet due to the coercivity-remanence trade-off ***,we achieved this balance between H_(cj)and Jr by flake Cu powder assisted DyF_(3)interflake *** Hcj increases from 1218 to 1496 kA/m and Jr increases from 1.32 to 1.34 T compared with the original *** show that the width of coarse grain layers reduces because of the introduction of flake Cu,which increases the contact areas of the adjacent grains at ribbon interfaces and suppresses the excessive growth of *** stronger degree of texture and higher density compared with the original magnet should take the responsibility for the increase of J_(r).Additionally,the aggregation regions of rare earth rich(RE-rich)phase reduce and the betterment of the microstructure is another reason for the enhancement of Jr in the flake Cu aided DyF_(3)hot-deformed *** strategy of using flake powder additives provides a promising method for optimizing microstructure and enhancing magnetic properties of hot-deformed Nd-Fe-B magnets.

New fractional operators, the COVID-19 model has been studied in this paper. By using different numericaltechniques and the time fractional parameters, the mechanical characteristics of the fractional order model areidentified. The uniqueness and existence have been established. Themodel’sUlam-Hyers stability analysis has beenfound. In order to justify the theoretical results, numerical simulations are carried out for the presented methodin the range of fractional order to show the implications of fractional and fractal *** applied very effectivenumerical techniques to obtain the solutions of themodel and simulations. Also, we present conditions of existencefor a solution to the proposed epidemicmodel and to calculate the reproduction number in certain state conditionsof the analyzed dynamic system. COVID-19 fractional order model for the case of Wuhan, China, is offered foranalysis with simulations in order to determine the possible efficacy of Coronavirus disease transmission in theCommunity. For this reason, we employed the COVID-19 fractal fractional derivative model in the example ofWuhan, China, with the given beginning conditions. In conclusion, again the mathematical models with fractionaloperators can facilitate the improvement of decision-making for measures to be taken in the management of anepidemic situation.

Increasing world request for energy has made oil extraction from reservoirs more *** novel EOR methods have been proposed and utilized for this *** nanocomposites in chemical flooding is one of these novel *** this study,we investigated the impact of six injection solutions on the recovery of light and heavy oil with the presence of two different brines as formation water using a homogenous glass *** of the injection solutions were based on a 40,000 ppm Na Cl synthetic seawater(SSW),one of which was additive free and the others were prepared by dispersing nanocomposite silica-based polyacrylamide(NCSP),nanocomposite alumina-based polyacrylamide(NCAP),the combination of both nanocomposites silica and alumina based on polyacrylamide(NCSAP),surfactant(CTAB)and polyacrylamide(PAM)with a concentration of 1000 ppm as *** Stability of nanocomposites was tested against the salinity of the brine and temperature using salinity and DSC tests which were *** stability tests,IFT,contact angle and oil recovery measurements were *** results revealed that in addition to the effect of silica and alumina nanocomposite in reducing interfacial tension and wettability alteration,control of mobility ratio caused a major improvement in sweeping efficiency and oil *** to the sweeping behavior of injected fluids,it was found that the main effect of surfactant was wettability alteration,for polyacrylamide was mobility control and for nanocomposites was the reduction of interfacial tension between oil and injected fluid,which was completely analyzed and checked ***,NCSAP with 95.83%and 70.33%and CTAB with 84.35%and 91%have the highest light oil recoveries at 250,000 ppm and 180,000 ppm salinity,respectively which is related to the superposition effect of interactions between nanocomposites,solution and *** on our results it can be concluded that the most effective mechanism in oil recovery was I

In this paper,a multifunctional chiral metasurface is presented to achieve asymmetric transmission(AT)and linear-polarization conversion(LPC).The designed metasurface consists of a cross swords-like shape and two holes in the lower side of the unit *** the frequency band from 8.3 GHz to 10.4 GHz,AT is realized with more than 90%efficiency and the same chiral metasurface transforms linear polarized wave into its orthogonal counterpart with high *** LPC,the polarization conversion ratio(PCR)is greater than 95%.The proposed metasurface is stable against the incident angles of striking electromagnetic(EM)waves up to 60°for both operations of AT and LPC.

Reducing the production costs of clean energy carriers such as hydrogen through scalable water electrolysis is a potential solution for advancing the hydrogen *** the various material candidates,our group demonstrated transition-metal-based materials with tunable electronic characteristics,various phases,and ***,electrochemical water oxidation using Cu_(2)Se-V_(2)O_(5) as a non-precious metallic electrocatalyst via a hydrothermal approach is *** water-splitting performance of all the fabricated electrocatalysts was evaluated after direct growth on a stainless-steel *** electrochemically tuned Cu_(2)Se-V_(2)O_(5) catalyst exhibited a reduced overpotential of 128 mV and provided a reduced Tafel slope of 57 mV·dec^(−1) to meet the maximum current density of 250 mA·cm^(−2).The optimized strategy for interfacial coupling of the fabricated Cu_(2)Se-V_(2)O_(5) catalyst resulted in a porous structure with accessible active sites,which enabled adsorption of the intermediates and afforded an effective charge transfer rate for promoting the oxygen evolution ***,the combined effect of the catalyst components provided long-term stability for over 110 h in an alkaline solution,which makes the catalyst promising for large-scale practical *** aforementioned advantages of the composite catalyst overcome the limitations of low conductivity,agglomeration,and poor stability of the pure catalysts(Cu2Se and V2O5).

Angiotensin Receptor Blockers (ARB) are used as an alternative of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitors (ACEI) in patients where ACEIs cannot be used because of their known adverse effects, cough and angioedema. Thus ARB induced angioedema is considered to be a rare phenomenon and it is continued to be used as an alternatives of ACEIs. In this case report, we reported a case of 78-year-old gentleman who presented to emergency department with losartan, an ARB induced angioedema, who did not have history of any previous use of ACEIs. He was given steroids and antihistamine as a treatment. His angioedema resolved rapidly and he was discharged after six hours of emergency department (ED) observation with stable hemodynamically. We, the authors by reporting this case, wants to make clinicians aware ARB, however rarely, can cause angioedema, which can be life threatening if clinicians are not aware of it and diagnose and stop the offending drug promptly and treat it early.

Zinc-air batteries(ZABs)are gaining attention as an ideal option for various applications requiring high-capacity batteries,such as portable electronics,electric vehicles,and renewable energy *** offer advantages such as low environmental impact,enhanced safety compared to Li-ion batteries,and cost-effectiveness due to the abundance of ***,early research faced challenges due to parasitic reactions at the zinc anode and slow oxygen redox *** advancements in restructuring the anode,utilizing alternative electrolytes,and developing bifunctional oxygen catalysts have significantly improved *** have achieved battery reversibility over thousands of cycles,introduced new electrolytes,and achieved energy efficiency records surpassing 70%.Despite these achievements,there are challenges related to lower power density,shorter lifespan,and air electrode corrosion leading to performance *** review paper discusses different battery configurations,and reaction mechanisms for electrically and mechanically rechargeable ZABs,and proposes remedies to enhance overall battery *** paper also explores recent advancements,applications,and the future prospects of electrically/mechanically rechargeable ZABs.

Objective:Only a few numbers of studies have been published on the use of abobotulinumtoxinA(Dysport®)in idiopathic detrusor overactivity(IDO).This study reported the long-term follow-up of women with IDO who were treated with intravesical Dysport®***:Two hundred and thirty-six patients with IDO who had failed first-line conservative and antimuscarinic therapy received 500-900 units of Dysport®between April 2014 and July *** patients were followed up for 5 years after their initial injection and interviewed on the ***:A total of 236 women with IDO aged from 18 years to 84 years(mean±standard deviation:49.6±15.9 years)were included in our *** median follow-up time for patients was 36.5(range:10-70)months,and the median recovery time after injection was 18.5(range:0-70)months.A total of 83(35.2%)patients stated that they had subjective improvement of their symptoms whereas 84(35.6%)patients did not report any improvement in *** initial International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire Overactive Bladder mean score was 6.9(standard deviation 3.4).There was a positive association between the median recovery time and the components of the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire Overactive Bladder ***:In a sub-population of overactive bladder patients with IDO who have failed first-line therapy,a single intravesical Dysport®injection can resolve patient symptoms completely or reduce the symptoms to an acceptable level that can be controlled with antimuscarinics or re-injection on demands.

Two-dimensional （2D） layered organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite （2D PVK） materials have beenrecently developed as a novel candidate for photovoltaic application with high stability and a maximumpower conversion efficiency of 12.5%. This article summarized these newly emerging 2D PVK materialsand their uses in solar cells. The structural, physical, and chemical properties as well as the classificationof 2D PVK materials are discussed. The photovoltaic performance parameters of various 2D perovsldtesolar cells （2D PSCs） are summarized and their device stability is compared with conventional 3Dperovskite solar cells （3D PSCs）. It has been concluded that 2D PVKs show greater stability upon humidity,heat stress, and light intensity as compared to 3D analogues and act as a class of promising materials forapplication in solar cells.

Effect of number density on velocity distributions in a driven quasi-two-dimensional granular gas

The motion of mono-disperse spherical steel particles in a vibration driven quasi-two-dimensional （2D） square cell is studied. The cell is horizontally vibrated to eliminate the effect of gravity compaction. The velocity distributions at different particle number densities are studied and found to obey the form exp[-β（｜Vy｜/σy）α], in which Vy and （σy are velocity and its variance in the transverse direction, and α and β are fitting parameters. The value of α is found to decrease with the number density of particles increasing. To investigate the effect of the bottom plate, the molecular dynamics simulation without considering any bottom friction is performed. The accordance between the simulation result and the experimental result shows that the influence of bottom plate friction force on the high energy tail of the velocity distribution can be neglected.
