Specimen retrieval approaches in patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal resections:a literature-based review of published studies

Objective:To review the published studies reporting various specimen retrieval incisions being used by colorectal surgeons in patients undergoing laparoscopic colorectal resections(LCR).Methods:Standard medical electronic databases were searched to find relevant articles and a summary conclusion was ***:There were 43 studies reporting various approaches used for the purpose of specimen retrieval in 2388 patients undergoing *** most common approaches were periumbilical midline incision(1260 reported case in the literature),transverse incision(583 reported cases in the literature)in the right-or left iliac fossa,depending on the side of colonic resection,and Pfannensteil incision(293 reported cases in the literature).Periumbilical midline incision was associated with the higher risk of developing incisional hernia(odds ratio 53.72;95%confidence interval 7.48–386.04;Z=3.96;P=0.0001).In terms of surgical site infection(SSI),there was no difference between the three common approaches to specimen *** and transvaginal approaches were associated with higher risk of ***:Midline,transverse and Pfannensteil incisions were the most commonly used approaches for specimen retrieval following *** incision was associated with higher risk of incisional *** of SSI was similar in all three common *** transanal and transvaginal approaches pose a higher risk of *** conclusions are based on the combined outcome of published case series,case reports and comparative ***,controlled trials with longer follow-up are required before recommending the routine use of any approach for specimen retrieval in patients undergoing LCR.

Up to date,solid-state carbon dots(CDs)with bright red fluorescence have scarcely achieved due to aggregation-caused quenching(ACQ)effect and extremely low quantum yield in deep-red to near infrared ***,we report a novel fluorine-defects induced solid-state red fluorescence(λ_(em)=676 nm,the absolute fluorescence quantum yields is 4.17%)in fluorine,nitrogen and sulfur co-doped CDs(F,N,S-CDs),which is the first report of such a long wavelength emission of solid-state *** a control,CDs without fluorine-doping(N,S-CDs)show no fluorescence in solid-state,and the fluorescence quantum yield/emission wavelength of N,S-CDs in solution-state are also lower/shorter than that of F,N,S-CDs,which is mainly due to the F-induced defect traps on the surface/edge of F,N,***,the solid-state F,N,S-CDs exhibit an interesting temperature-sensitive behavior in the range of 80-420 K,with the maximum fluorescence intensity at 120 K,unveiling its potential as the temperature-dependent fluorescent sensor and the solid-state light-emitting device adapted to multiple temperatures.

A New Paradigm for Waste Classification Based on YOLOv5

Classification of garbage is of paramount importance prior to process them to categorise physically and this process helps to manage wastes by maintaining pollution free *** systems that have capability segregate garbage are on the rise,but efficient and accurate segmentation with recognition mechanisms draw the attention of researchers.A computer vision approach for classifying garbage into respective recyclable categories could be one of the effective and economical ways of processing *** project mainly focused on capturing real-time images of a single piece of garbage and classifying it into three divisions:paper,or metal,or biodegradable(food)*** garbage class contains around 2000 images obtained from an open-source dataset and images collected from Google and personally collected custom *** developed intelligent models provide the effectiveness of the machine and deep learning in classification with structural and non-structural *** model used was a Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)named *** project showcased vision based approach capable of maintaining an accuracy of 61%.The CNN was not trained to its maximum capacity due to the difficulty of finding optimal hyperparameters,as most of the images were gathered from Google Images.

Missing Data Imputations for Upper Air Temperature at 24 Standard Pressure Levels over Pakistan Collected from Aqua Satellite

This research was an effort to select best imputation method for missing upper air temperature data over 24 standard pressure levels. We have implemented four imputation techniques like inverse distance weighting, Bilinear, Natural and Nearest interpolation for missing data imputations. Performance indicators for these techniques were the root mean square error (RMSE), absolute mean error (AME), correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination ( R2 ) adopted in this research. We randomly make 30% of total samples (total samples was 324) predictable from 70% remaining data. Although four interpolation methods seem good (producing 0.99) found between actual and predicted air temperature data through this method. The high value of the coefficient of determination (0.99) through bilinear interpolation method, tells us best fit to the surface. We have also found similar results for imputation with natural interpolation method in this research, but after investigating scatter plots over each month, imputations with this method seem to little obtuse in certain months than bilinear method.

微藻生物质因其富含高价值成分及其在多种产品中的广泛应用,使微藻生物质资源的需求量越来越大,微藻具有广泛的应用范围且是高价值产品的来源。因此,发展微藻培养技术来满足其在食品、制药和生物能源行业中日益增长的需求。将废水作为微藻的培养基不仅可以降低废水处理成本,而且可以消除废水中的有害物质。此外,随着微藻高价值产品的生产,也为环境问题提供了替代解决方案。研究目的实现高生物量和高脂质含量以及废水中营养物质高去除率。本研究得到的主要结论如下:1.为了研究微藻生长的最优光强度,以黄丝藻Tribonema sp.产生最佳生物量并去除COD及氮磷养分。研究光强分别为1000Lux,1200Lux,1400Lux,1600Lux,1800Lux和2000Lux。发现Tribonema sp.在1200Lux强度下生长最佳,在该强度下获得最大的生物量以及有效降低COD,TP和TN。在1200Lux下的最高生物量值1.64(g/L),发现叶绿素含量为94(mg/L),养殖期间COD降低了92.96%,TP降低了 36.11%,TN降低了86.14%。在1800Lux下培养,得到的生物量值和叶绿素含量分别为1.48(g/L)和0.80(mg/L)。COD、TP和TN分别下降了70.42%、8.33%和77%。研究表明生长和养分去除与光强度不成线性关系。2.本研究旨在研究细菌存在对黄丝藻Tribonema sp.培养过程中微藻生物量、脂质和脂肪酸产量的影响。黄丝藻属在封闭的纯培养条件下比在开放条件下生长得更好。在封闭培养条件下获得5.33(g/L),总脂质含量为43.5%;在开放培养时生物量5.11g/L,总脂质含量为34%,不饱和脂肪酸含量较高,为8.02%。Rhizobium rosettiformans,Hydro genophaga intermedia,Sphingopyxis terrae,Sphingopyxis ummariensis的存在对黄丝藻Tribonema sp.生长、总脂质和脂肪酸的产生均有影响。在进一步研究 Sphingopyxis ummariensis,Hydrogenophaga intermedia,Rhizobium rosettiformans菌对Tribonema sp.培养的影响时,发现Tribonema sp.在没有这些细菌的情况下生长良好。在对照培养条件下,最高生物量为4.79(g/L)。Rhizobium rosettiformans在培养时,总脂质含量最高,为53%。在对照培养条件下,总磷和总氮的养分去除率最高,分别为98.34%和94.64%。对照组中饱和脂肪酸含量也较高,达45.35%。三种菌混合培养时,单不饱和脂肪酸最高达37.95%。与Hydrogenopohaga intermedia菌共培养的Tribonema sp.获得最多的多不饱和脂肪酸12.54%。3.杀菌效果对小球藻Chlorella sp.和黄丝藻Tribonema sp.的生长影响和和营养去除影响研究。与未灭菌的废水相比,灭菌后的废水潜在地产生了更高的微藻生物量,并且从废水中去除了养分。两种物种在灭菌条件下均表现良好。在灭菌条件下,Tribonema sp.生长良好,生物量和总类胡萝卜素含量分别为4.58(g/L)和6.48(mg/L)。COD、TP、NH-N的养分去除率分别为96%、99%、99%。而在未灭菌条件下,小球藻获得最大生物量2.78(g/L),总类胡萝卜素含量为7.36(g/L)。废水中COD、TP、NH-N分别降低了 86%、97%、98%。因此,研究发现灭菌对微藻生长和营养去除具有显着影响。4.在两种微藻物种的共培养技术中,小球藻Chlorella sp.和黄丝藻Tribonema sp.在最大量的生物量产生和营养去除以及脂质生产方面都表现出了更好的结果。两种物种的混合培养被发现可以更有效地达到更高的生物量。两种物种单独培养的单一培养物未产生理想的结果。共培养时获得最大生物量,为2.78(g/L),以及COD、NH-N、TP分别降低18%、48%、63%,脂质含量为43%,在同一培养培养结束时最高。在小球藻的单一培养物中。单培养小球藻最大生物量为1.69(g/L),COD减少31%,NH-N减少15.78%,TP减少63.88%,油脂含量减少42%。在单培养条件下,Tribonema sp.最大生物量为1.13(g/L)COD、NH-N、TP分别为9.8%33.36%、54.05%,油脂含量为37.67%。共培养在培养过程中表现得更好。因此,本研究将微藻生物量、微藻脂质含量等作为双重目标,利用各种废水和发展养殖技术进行培养,满足对微藻日益增长的需求。研究表明,特定的光照强度、培养技术和培养基水平,可以提高营

Hepatitis C is a contagious blood-borne infection,and it is mostly asymptomatic during the initial ***,it is difficult to diagnose and treat patients in the early stages of *** disease’s progression to its last stages makes diagnosis and treatment more *** this study,an AI system based on machine learning algorithms is presented to help healthcare professionals with an early diagnosis of hepatitis *** dataset used for our Hep-Pred model is based on a literature study,and includes the records of 1385 patients infected with the hepatitis C *** in this dataset received treatment dosages for the hepatitis C virus for about 18 months.A former study divided the disease into four main *** stages have proven helpful for doctors to analyze the liver’s *** traditional way to check the staging is the biopsy,which is a painful and time-consuming *** article aims to provide an effective and efficient approach to predict hepatitis C *** this purpose,the proposed technique uses a fine Gaussian SVM learning algorithm,providing 97.9%accurate results.
