Phenotypic and phylogenetic characterization of Lactobacillus species isolated from traditional Lighvan cheese

Lighvan cheese(Lighvan panir)is among the most famous traditional cheese in Iran for its desired aroma and ***,the lactic acid bacteria especially the genus Lactobacillus are the critical factors in developing the aroma,flavor,and texture in Lighvan *** this study,the Lactobacillus population of the main Lighvan cheese was *** Lactobacillus of the main Lighvan cheese was isolated using specific culture methods according to previously published ***,the phylogenetic features were investigated and the phenotypic characteristics were examined using specific culture ***-eight Gram-positive bacterial species were identified belonged to the genus *** to the same sequences as each other,three groups(A,B,and C)of isolates were categorized with a high degree of similarity to ***(100%)and *** group(***,***,and ***)(99.0 to 100%).Random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD)fingerprint analysis manifested the presence of three clusters that were dominant in traditional Lighvan ***Іwas divided into 4 *** the result of carbohydrate fermentation pattern and 16S rRNA sequencing,isolates were identified as *** isolates in clusters II and III represented *** and ***,respectively as they were identified by 16S rRNA sequencing and fermented carbohydrate *** result indicated that the specific aroma and flavor of traditional Lighvan cheese can be related to its Lactobacillus population including ***,***,***,and ***.

Introducing the novel technique for enhancing oil recovery from available petroleum reservoirs is one of the important issues in future energy *** of all operative factors,wettability may be the foremost parameter affecting residual oil saturation in all stage of oil *** wettability alteration is one of the methods which enhance oil recovery from the petroleum ***,the studies which focused on this subject were more than the past and many contributions have been made on this *** main objective of the current study is experimentally investigation of the two nonionic surfactants effects on altering wettability of reservoir *** of this work is to change the wettability to preferentially the water-wet *** reducing the residual oil saturation(Sor)is the other purpose of this *** wettability alteration of reservoir rock is measured by two main quantitative methods namely contact angle and the USBM *** of this study showed that surfactant flooding is more effective in oil-wet rocks to change their wettability and consequently reducing Sor to a low ***(Zizyphus Spina Christi)is low priced,absolutely natural,and abundantly accessible in the Middle East and Central *** on the results,this material can be used as a chemical surfactant in field for enhancing oil recovery.

Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of a Dissimilar Friction Stir Weld between Austenitic Stainless Steel and Low Carbon Steel

Dissimilar fusion welding of austenitic stainless steels to carbon steels has some metallurgical and technical problems. It was suggested that the solid-state nature of friction stir welding （FSW） can overcome these problems and produce a sound weld with reliable mechanical properties. In this study, plates of 304 stainless steel and st37 steel were welded together by FSW at tool rotational speed of 600 r/rain and welding speed of 50 ram/rain. In the stir zone （SZ） of 304 stainless steel, the results showed a refined grain structure with some features of metadynamic recrystallization. In the SZ of st37 steel, the hot deformation of material in the austenite region produced small austenite grains. These grains transformed to fine ferrite and pearlite by cooling the material after FSW. The production of fine grains increased the hardness and tensile strength in the SZ of both sides with respect to their base metals （BMs）.

Prediction of reservoir brine properties using radial basis function (RBF) neural network

Aquifers,which play a prominent role as an effective tool to recover hydrocarbon from reservoirs,assist the production of hydrocarbon in various *** so-called water flooding methods,the pressure of the reservoir is intensified by the injection of water into the formation,increasing the capacity of the reservoir to allow for more hydrocarbon *** studies have indicated that oil recovery can be increased by modifying the salinity of the injected brine in water flooding ***,various characteristics of brines are required for different calculations used within the petroleum ***,it is of great significance to acquire the exact information about PVT properties of brine extracted from *** properties of brine that are of great importance are density,enthalpy,and vapor *** this study,radial basis function neural networks assisted with genetic algorithm were utilized to predict the mentioned *** root mean squared error of 0.270810,0.455726,and 1.264687 were obtained for reservoir brine density,enthalpy,and vapor pressure,*** predicted values obtained by the proposed models were in great agreement with experimental *** addition,a comparison between the proposed model in this study and a previously proposed model revealed the superiority of the proposed GA-RBF model.

Determination of Trace Amounts of Lead by Modified Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry after Liquid Phase Microextraction with Pyrimidine-2-thiol

The liquid phase microextraction (LPME) was combined with the modified Graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GF-AAS) for determination of lead in the water and solid samples. In a preconcentration step, lead was extracted from a 2 ml of its aqueous sample in the pH = 5 as lead-Pyrimidine-2-thiol cationic complex into a 4 μl drop of 1,2 dichloroethane and ammonium tetraphenylborate as counter ion immersed in the solution. In the drop, the lead-Pyrimidine-2-thiol ammonium tetraphenylborate ion associated complex was formed. After extraction, the microdrop was retracted and directly transferred into a graphite tube modified by [***] (c). Some effective parameters on extraction and complex formation, such as type and volume of organic solvent, pH, concentration of chelating agent and counter ion, extraction time, stirring rate and effect of salt were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment factor and recovery were 525% and 94%, respectively. The calibration graph was linear in the range of 0.01 - 12 μg?L–1 with correlation coefficient of 0.9975 under the optimum conditions of the recommended procedure. The detection limit based on the 3Sb criterion was 0.0072 μg?L–1 and relative standard deviation (RSD) for ten replicate measurement of 0.1 μg?L–1 and 0.4 μg?L–1 lead was 4.5% and 3.8% respectively. The characteristic concentration was 0.0065 μg?L–1 equivalent to a characteristic mass of 26 fg. The results for determination of lead in reference materials, spiked tap water and seawater demonstrated the accuracy, recovery and applicability of the presented method.

Host phylogeny and environment have all been implicated in shaping the gut microbiota and host metabolic traits of ***,few studies have evaluated phylogeny-associated microbial assembly and host metabolic plasticity concurrently,and their relationships on both short-term and evolutionary *** report that the branching order of a gut microbial dendrogram was nearly congruent with phylogenetic relationships of seven rodent species,and this pattern of phylosymbiosis was intact after diverse laboratory *** rearing,diet or air temperature(Ta) acclimation induced alterations in gut microbial communities,but could not override host phylogeny in shaping microbial community assembly.A simulative heatwave reduced core microbiota diversity by 26% in these species,and led to an unmatched relationship between the microbiota and host metabolic phenotypes in desert ***,the similarity of metabolic traits across species at different Tas was not correlated with phylogenetic *** data demonstrated that the gut microbial assembly showed strong concordance with host phylogeny and may be shaped by environmental variables,whereas host metabolic traits did not seem to be linked with phylogeny.

Rapid developments in hardware, software, and communication technologies have facilitated the emergence of Internet-connected sensory devices that provide observations and data measurements from the physical world. By 2020, it is estimated that the total number of Internet-connected devices being used will be between 25 and 50 billion. As these numbers grow and technologies become more mature, the volume of data being published will increase. The technology of Internet-connected devices, referred to as Internet of Things （IoT）, continues to extend the current Internet by providing connectivity and interactions between the physical and cyber worlds. In addition to an increased volume, the IoT generates big data characterized by its velocity in terms of time and location dependency, with a variety of multiple modalities and varying data quality. Intelligent processing and analysis of this big data are the key to developing smart IoT applications. This article assesses the various machine learning methods that deal with the challenges presented by IoT data by considering smart cities as the main use case. The key contribution of this study is the presentation of a taxonomy of machine learning algorithms explaining how different techniques are applied to the data in order to extract higher level information. The potential and challenges of machine learning for IoT data analytics will also be discussed. A use case of applying a Support Vector Machine （SVM） to Aarhus smart city traffic data is presented for a more detailed exploration.

Effect of psychological preparation on anxiety level before colonoscopy in outpatients referred to Golestan Hospital in Ahvaz

BACKGROUND： Gastrointestinal disorders are common complaints for which endoscopy and colonoscopy are the most important diagnostic procedures. Anxiety is an unpleasant, ambiguous feeling of apprehension and fear of unknown origin that occurs during stressful situations or injury. Lack of sufficient information and fear of pain can cause anxiety prior to a colonoscopy, reducing the number of patients willing to undergo the procedure and increasing colonoscopy time. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of psychological preparation on anxiety before colonoscopy in patients presenting to Golestan Hospital during the years 1994 and 1995. MATERIAL and METHODS： This study was a double-blind clinical trial of patients presenting to the colonoscopy unit in Golestan Hospital in 1994 and 1995. A total of 80 patients were divided into two groups： intervention and control. A primary assessment of anxiety was performed using Spielberger＇s State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. Before the colonoscopy, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory was completed by the patients again. The effectiveness of psychological preparation before colonoscopy and its effect on anxiety were evaluated using statistical software SPSS 20. RESULTS： The mean age of participants was 46.33 ±12.2 years in the intervention group and 44.8±12.26 years in the control group. In this study, there were 41 males （51.3%） and 39 females （48.7%）; 15 patients （18.7%） were single and the rest married. In terms of demographic variables, there were no significant differences between the two groups （p 〉 0.05）. The average scores of state and trait anxiety in the intervention group showed a statistically significant difference before and after the intervention （p = 0.000）. CONCLUSION： Trait and state anxiety levels after psychological preparation showed a statistically significant reduction. This indicates the effectiveness of intervention programs to reduce anxiety before colonoscopy.

Moisture-dependent physical and mechanical properties of cumin(Cuminum cyminum L.)seed

Some physical and mechanical properties of cumin seed were obtained as moisture content changed from 7.24%to 21.38%*** of moisture content was found to increase the seed length(5.14-5.58 mm),width(1.33-1.55 mm),thickness(0.97-1.05 mm),arithmetic mean diameter(2.48-2.73),geometric mean diameter(1.88-2.09 mm),surface area(10.34-12.66 mm^(2)),thousand seed weight(2.9-3.9 g),porosity(51.22%-64.11%),true density(917.8-1030.6 kg/m3),static angle of repose(43-49 deg),dynamic angle of repose(47-56.6 deg),and coefficient of static friction on the three surfaces:glass(0.48-0.77),galvanized iron sheet(0.36-0.73),and plywood(0.57-0.69).However,bulk density was found to decrease from 447.66-369.88 kg/m3,and rupture force and rupture energy along with seed length and width were found to decrease from 83.74-56.17 N,132.95-84.47 N,50.66-27.52 mJ,and 67.8 to 33.36 mJ,*** sphericity increased from 36.63%to 37.5%with increasing in moisture content from 7.24%to 14.5%*** then reduced to 37.5%with further increase in moisture content to 21.38%d.b.

A tree-based intelligence ensemble approach for spatial prediction of potential groundwater

The objective of this research is to propose and confirm a new machine learning approach of Best-First tree(BFtree),AdaBoost(AB),MultiBoosting(MB),and Bagging(Bag)ensembles for potential groundwater mapping and assessing role of influencing *** Yasuj-Dena area(Iran)is selected as a case *** this regard,a Yasuj-Dena database was established with 362 springs locations and 12 groundwater-influencing factors(slope,aspect,elevation,stream power index(SPI),length of slope(LS),topographic wetness index(TWI),topographic position index(TPI),land use,lithology,distance from fault,distance from river,and rainfall).The database was employed to train and validate the proposed groundwater *** area under the curve(AUC)and statistical metrics were employed to check and confirm the quality of the *** result shows that the BFTree-Bag model(AUC=0.810,kappa=0.495)has the highest prediction performance,followed by the BFTree-MB model(AUC=0.785,kappa=0.477),and the BFTree-MB model(AUC=0.745,kappa=0.422).Compared to the benchmark of Random Forests,the BFTree-Bag model performs better;therefore,we conclude that the BFtree-Bag is a new tool should be used for modeling of groundwater potential.
