Liver cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death *** tumor detection may help identify suitable treatment and increase the survival *** imaging is a non-invasive tool that can help uncover abnormalities in human *** Resonance Imaging(MRI),in particular,uses magnetic fields and radio waves to differentiate internal human organs ***,the interpretation of medical images requires the subjective expertise of a radiologist and ***,building an automated diagnosis computer-based system can help specialists reduce incorrect *** paper proposes a hybrid automated system to compare the performance of 3D features and 2D features in classifying magnetic resonance liver tumor *** paper proposed two models;the first one employed the 3D features while the second exploited the 2D *** first system uses 3D texture attributes,3D shape features,and 3D graphical deep descriptors beside an ensemble classifier to differentiate between four 3D tumor *** top of that,the proposed method is applied to 2D slices for comparison *** proposed approach attained 100%accuracy in discriminating between all types of tumors,100%Area Under the Curve(AUC),100%sensitivity,and 100%specificity and precision as well in 3D liver *** the other hand,the performance is lower in 2D *** maximum accuracy reached 96.4%for two classes and 92.1%for four *** top-class performance of the proposed system can be attributed to the exploitation of various types of feature selection methods besides utilizing the ReliefF features selection technique to choose the most relevant features associated with different *** novelty of this work appeared in building a highly accurate system under specific circumstances without any processing for the images and human input,besides comparing the performance between 2D and 3D *** the future,the presented work can be extended to be

Due to rapid development in Artificial Intelligence(AI)and Deep Learning(DL),it is difficult to maintain the security and robustness of these techniques and algorithms due to emergence of novel term adversary *** technique is sensitive to these ***,fake samples cause AI and DL model to produce diverse *** attacks that successfully implemented in real world scenarios highlight their applicability even *** this regard,minor modifications of input images cause“Adversarial Attacks”that altered the performance of competing attacks ***,such attacks and defensive strategies are gaining lot of attention by the machine learning and security *** use different kinds of technologies to examine the patient abnormalities including Wireless Capsule Endoscopy(WCE).However,using WCE it is very difficult for doctors to detect an abnormality within images since it takes enough time while inspection and deciding *** a result,it took weeks to generate patients test report,which is tiring and strenuous for ***,researchers come out with the solution to adopt computerized technologies,which are more suitable for the classification and detection of such *** far as the classification is concern,the adversarial attacks generate problems in classified *** days,to handle this issue machine learning is mainstream defensive approach against adversarial ***,this research exposes the attacks by altering the datasets with noise including salt and pepper and Fast Gradient Sign Method(FGSM)and then reflects that how machine learning algorithms work fine to handle these noises in order to avoid *** obtained on the WCE images which are vulnerable to adversarial attack are 96.30%accurate and prove that the proposed defensive model is robust when compared to competitive existing methods.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of different doses of lead acetate(1/20,1/40 and 1/60 of LD_(50))on body weight gain,blood picture,plasma prolein profile and the function of liver,kidney and thyroid ***:Male albino rats were divided into four groups,the first group represented the health control animals,while the second,third and fourth groups were ingested orally with sub lethal doses of load acetate(1/20,1/40 and 1/60)of the oral LD_(50),*** dose was ingested every two days during the experimental period(14 weeks)including the adaptation *** was collected and used for all ***:The results showed that,the ingestion of Pb^(2+)induced significant stimulation in glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(ALT)and glutamic-oxalacetic transaminease(AST)***,total soluble protein and albumin contents of plasma were significantly decreased,while the content of globulin was changed by the Pb^(2+)*** cholinesteiase activity was inhibited,but the activities of alkaline and acid phosphates and lactate dehydrogenase were stimulated,while plasma glucose level was elevated as a result of lead acetate *** case of blood picture,Pb^(2+)ingestion reduced the contents of hemoglobin and RBCs count of intoxicated rat's blood and the plasma levels of T3,T4 and blood WBCs count were ***:It can be concluded that lead acetate has harmful effect on experimental male albino ***,the present work advises people to prevent exposure to the lead compound to avoid injurious hazard risk.

The hepatotoxic effect of potassium bromide(KBr)on rat liver tissues were determined,as well as the potential protective effect of Tegillaraca granosa(***)flesh body *** adult male albino rats were equally distributed into four groups;Group(I)treated with physiological saline(control group),Group(II)was orally gavaged by 200 mg/kg of *** body extract day after day,Group(III)was intoxicated by KBr(150 mg/kg bwt day after day orally)and finally,Group(IV)was given a combination of *** flesh body extract plus KBr with similar doses in the second and third *** the end of one month,blood,liver tissue and bone marrow samples were collected to be used for the required laboratory *** response to KBr toxicity,there was a significant increase in serum antioxidant biomarkers,which was accompanied by a significant change in hepatocyte ultrastructure and a significant change in carbohydrate and protein levels within the liver *** addition,KBr intoxication resulted in a substantial increase in the incidence of chromosomal aberrations such as holes,splits,deletions,fragments,ploidy,and ring chromosomes,as well as significant upregulation of TGF-1,VEGF,and COX-2 gene *** hepatotoxic effect of KBr was counteracted by treatment with *** flesh body *** flesh body extract has a curative antioxidant and numerous protective effects against KBr hepatotoxicity.

Burkholderia pseudomallei is a causative agent of melioidosis that can infect humans and animals in endemic countries,specifically in Southeast Asia and tropical Australia.A fundamental component for the pathogenesis of Burkholderia pseudomallei is the capability of the bacterium to enter,survive,replicate,and cause disease in a host cell by inducing the host cell *** fusion results in multinucleated-giant cell formation,thus enabling the dissemination of Burkholderia pseudomallei *** reacts to Burkholderia pseudomallei infection by activating the cGAS-STING pathway and subsequently limiting host's aberrant cell division and cellular replication by inducing autophagic cell *** this review,we discuss the host-pathogen interactions between the typeⅥsecretion system 5(T6SS-5)of Burkholderia pseudomallei and human cGAS pathway in melioidosis *** T6SS-5 is a main virulent factor in Burkholderia pseudomallei and the c GAS pathway is vital for host immune response,elucidating their functions is important for better understanding the pathogenesis of Burkholderia pseudomallei.

Viral infections have haunted humankind since times ***,globalization,and extensive deforestation have created an ideal environment for a viral spread with unknown and multiple shedding *** viruses can infect the male reproductive tract,with potential adverse consequences to male reproductive health,including infertility and ***,some genital tract viral infections can be sexually transmitted,potentially impacting the resulting offspring's *** have summarized the evidence concerning the presence and adverse effects of the relevant viruses on the reproductive tract(mumps virus,human immunodeficiency virus,herpes virus,human papillomavirus,hepatitis B and C viruses,Ebola virus,Zika virus,influenza virus,and coronaviruses),their routes of infection,target organs and cells,prevalence and pattern of virus shedding in semen,as well as diagnosis/testing and treatment *** pathophysiological understanding in the male genital tract is essential to assess its clinical impact on male reproductive health and guide future research.

早期发现消化问题对于降低患任何形式的胃肠道癌症(包括食道癌)的机会至关重要。内窥镜检查是大多数时间用于检查和拍摄此类疾病的方法。人工智能的应用现在被证明在增强胃肠道息肉和位于胃肠道系统内的其他异常特征的识别方面非常有效。作为这一发展的直接结果,人工智能在该领域的使用已经有了实质性的增长。在人工智能的框架下,本研究调查了各种类型的算法在息肉和异常特征识别的准确性、效率和检测方面的表现。并在这项工作中引入了一个模型,即GastroNet。它是通过对YOLOv5进行超参数微调来开发的,以发现特定的息肉和异常特征,特别是食管炎。在这种方法中,使用单个神经网络对整个图片进行分析,然后将其分解成其组成部分,并独立计算每个边界框和概率。超参数微调的目标是进一步增强模型的整体优化。对一组数据使用了两种不同的注释方法,这些数据由总共一千张需要标记的单独图像组成。除了实施微调的SSD模型外,本研究还使用了三种不同的骨干网络:Mobile Net v2,Mobile Net v2 FPN Lite和Resnet50 v1 FPN。此外,本研究还使用CSPdarknet53来创建改进的YOLOv4模型。研究结果表明,所提出的GastroNet模型能够有效地正确识别息肉和异常特征,达到较高的m AP(平均精度)、F1得分和精度,值为0.99,召回率为1.00。这项研究的结果将对医生正确识别和诊断异常特征和胃肠道息肉有很大帮助。

Differences in Acute Phase Reactants between Gout and Pseudogout

Objectives: To define clinical differences in the acute phase response and serum acute phase reactants between gout, pseudogout and crystal-induced arthritis in the presence of non-articular infections (CAI). Patients and Methods: Eleven patients with definite gout, 12 patients with pseudogout and 5 patients with CIA were included in the study. Results: The erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) was significantly different between gout (68.2 ± 49.9 mm/Hr) and CIA (113.8 ± 37.2 mm/Hr) but not between gout and pseudogout (83.9 ± 45.6 mm/Hr) or between pseudogout and CIA. The C-reactive protein (CRP) was significantly increased between gout (10.1 ± 7.9 mg/dL) and pseudogout (18.9 ± 9.8 mg/dL), gout and CIA (36.5 ± 12.4 mg/dL) as well as between pseudogout and CIA. The peripheral white cell count was significantly different between gout (9.27 ± 3.7 k/μL) and CIA (16.5 ± 6.8 k/μL), and between pseudogout (8.9 ± 3.2 k/μL) and CIA. Conclusions: Measurement of ESR and CRP are helpful in crystal-induced arthritis. The CRP has more discriminating utility than the ESR in distinguishing between gout, pseudogout and CIA. Peripheral wbc is most useful for differentiating crystal-induced arthritis from CIA.
