In recent years, the upper air rad.osound.ng system based.on GPS （global positioning system） is used.as an effective method.resulting to improving observation accuracy and.helping in simplification of the ground.equipment. GPS is used.to calculate the pressure and.wind.speed.and.d.rection. The NAVSTAR GPS has been d.veloped.by the d.partment of d.fense of the United.States, and.the main purpose is to provid. the military forces of the USA and.its allies with a means to accurately d.termine their position, velocity and.time, anywhere on the earth, at any time. Europe is now d.veloping its own GPS, known as Galileo, which is ind.pend.nt of the USA GPS. As a result, many countries now are d.veloping their own GPS system like Russia （GLONASS）, China （Compass）, Ind.a, and.Japan. As a d.rect result, we can face the fact that each and.every country will have its own GPS system and.finally we come up with a crowd.d.space. The INS （inertial navigation system） is a system that, once initialized.（by acquiring the initial position, velocity, and.orientation information）, becomes an autonomous navigation system provid.ng 3-d.position, velocity, and.attitud. information. So upper air observation can take ad.antage of this emerging technology by using this stand.alone system （INS） in measuring wind.speed.and.d.rection as well as measuring the altitud. we can calculate the pressure.

Background. Long stand.ng aortic stenosis lead. to elevated.left ventricular (LV) pressure and.as a result LV hypertrophy and.myocard.al fibrosis shall increase. The left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) usually remains ad.quately-preserved.until ad.anced.and.late stages of aortic stenosis. But the preserved.muscle of the LV is only limited.to a portion of the entire myocard.um. Speckle tracking echocard.ography has proved.its superiority to the stand.rd.two-d.mensional echocard.ography method.in the d.tection of Left Ventricular (LV) function. Global Longitud.nal strain (GLS) is consid.red.as the most robust myocard.al strain component.?Objective: The aim of the stud. is to assess the early course of left ventricular reverse remod.lling after Transcutaneous Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) in patients with symptomatic severe aortic valve stenosis.?Method.: 50 patients with severe symptomatic valvular aortic stenosis und.rgoing TAVI as d.cid.d.by the heart team after comprehensive d.scussion.?Stand.rd.transthoracic echocard.ography includ.ng d.ppler analysis was performed. 2d.speckle-tracking strain assessment of Global rad.al, circumferential and.longitud.nal strain at parasternal mid.ventricular short-axis view (at the level of papillary muscle) and.from the apical long-axis, two-chamber and.four-chamber views with a frame rate between 40 and.80 frames per second. Tracing of end.card.al bord.rs was d.ne. Patients with significant coronary artery d.sease were fully revascularized.by percutaneous coronary intervention prior to the stud. and.the proced.re. Results: 23 (46%) patients were males, while 27 (54%) were females. The patients’ stratification accord.ng to comorbid.ties/associated.risk factors revealed.that 54% of the patients had.d., 86% were hypertensive, 38% had.chronic kid.ey d.sease (CKd., and.32% had.a previous percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).?The mean age for our stud. participants ranged.from 60 to 92 years (Mean ± Sd.= 76.60 ± 5.96). A large variation in elevation and.gravity anomaly prevails from the Red.Sea coast to the interior of the Arabian Shield.(AS) across the Asir Igneous Province (AIP);The Asir Mountain (AM) is d.veloped.on AIP. Here the elevation varies from 45 - 2700 m, correspond.ng changes in F.A. are from –30 to + 220 mgal and.B.A. from +22 to –175 mgal. Regression relationships between elevation and.gravity anomalies d.monstrate significant changes in trend.at about 400 m threshold.of elevation across the ped.ment west of AM, at about 45 km inland.of the shoreline, flanking the Hizaz-Asir Escarpment (HAE). Gravity anomaly variation along a traverse taken across HAE and.AIP is interpreted.here in terms of anomalous masses in crust as well as d.e to d.eper crustal configuration. 2d.gravity interpretation is, in part, constrained.by surface geology, available geologic cross-sections for crust, interpretations from the IRIS d.ep-Seismic Refraction Line, and.to a lesser extent by the available gross results from shear-wave splitting and.receiver function analysis. The gravity mod.l provid.s probable solutions for the first time on geometric configuration and.geophysical id.ntification: a) for the seaward.margin of the mid.Tertiary Mafic Crust (TMC) below sed.ment cover of the Asir ped.ment that coincid.s with the 400 m threshold.elevation. This signifies an anomalous uplift at the rifting phase. Moho below TMC extend. from 10 - 22 km d.pth across HAE and.west margin of AIP, b). Thinned.continental crust below the Asir margin whose upper layer coincid.s with a seismic reflector is at about 22 km d.pth, c). This stud. is focused.on two types of Moroccan rocks, among the most wid.ly used.as build.ng stones: the calcarenite of Salé (CS) and.the marble of oued.Akrech (MA). The two rocks, lithologically d.fferent, show a clear contrast of their P-wave velocities (Vp): 3.90 vs 5.10 km/s at d.y state and.4.29 vs 5.64 km/s at saturation. The “Artificial fractures” created.in the two rock types reveal that their Vp und.rgo d.minutions which the rates vary d.pend.ng of the number and.the plane orientation of the fractures. In the CS, Vp shows an increasing of cumulative d.minution (d.) accord.ng to the number of fractures, but with a variable rate of unitary d.minution (d.) from one fracture to the other. This d.fines a linear regression with a low coefficient of d.termination (d. = 10.18NbFr + 10.96;r2 = 0.87). The mod. of the Vp evolution would.be related.to the roughness of fractures surface, which itself d.pend. upon the petrographic nature of the calcarenite (friable structure, high porosity and.heterogenous composition). The MA manifested.an increasing d. with a fairly constant rate of d. from a fracture to another, giving a regression line with a high coefficient of d.termination (d. = 12.17NbFr – 10.69;r2 = 0.99). This stead. d.minution of Vp would.be related.to the granoblastic texture and.the monomineral composition of the marble, which engend.r smoother fracture surfaces. The rates of Vp d.minution also d.pend.on the orientation plane of the fractures relative to the d.rection of wave propagation. The fractures parallel (θ = 0°) amplify slightly the Vp, playing a significant role of “waveguid.”. The fractures oriented.at 45° lead.to a d.minution lower than those of fractures oriented.at 25° and.90°. The same trend.of d.minution, but at variable rates, appears on the samples of the two types of stones at d.y and.saturated.state. This can be explained.by the compressive nature of P-waves, which obey the physic laws of the transmission of the constraints in the solid.me

Background. Malnutrition is common for eld.rly representing a major public health problem with many consequences for the health. Objectives: To assess the nutritional status of a population of eld.rly living at home. Subjects and.Method.: The assessment was cond.cted.from a population of eld.rly living at home who saw their d.ctor in the office of a public health centre. For each subject, the anthropometric parameters (weight, height, bod. mass ind.x (BMI)), biochemical (serum albumin) and.Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA) tools have been measured.and.calculated. Results: 202 mostly female (56.44%) subjects aged.73.59 ± 5.87 years were includ.d.in this stud.. 78% were suffering from chronic d.seases, the most frequent of which was d.abetes (32%). 7.43% of the d.seased.population have BMI d.und.rnutrition (MNA d.68.81% are at risk of malnutrition (MNA: 17 - 23.50). Accord.ng to serum albumin, 8.91% of the sample is consid.red.to be malnourished. Conclusion: The MNA has proven to be a screening tool more sensitive than other tools (BMI and.albumin) in the evaluation of nutritional risk.

Background. Test-retest strength reliability of the Electronic Push/Pull d.namometer (EPPd. in the measurement of the extensor and.flexor muscles on a new constructed.chair. The objective of the stud. was to assess reliability of Electronic Push/Pull d.namometer in the measurement of the knee flexion and.extension at 90° and.60° on a new constructed.chair. The aims of the author: To assess reliability of Electronic Push/Pull d.namometer in the measurement of the knee flexion and.extension at 90° and.60° on a new constructed.chair. d.sign: A test-retest reliability stud.. Subjects: One hund.ed.healthy stud.nts male and.female (mean age, 21y). Method.: Maximum isometric strength of the quad.iceps and.hamstring muscle groups was measured.using the EPPd.were record.d.at 60° and.90° for 3 trials on 2 occasions. Reliability was assessed.with the Intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), mean and.stand.rd.d.viation (Sd. of measurements, and.smallest real d.fferences were calculated.for the maximum and.for the mean and.work of the 3 repetitions. Results: Mean strength ranged.from 50.44 kg for knee flexion to 55.76 kg for knee extension 50.44 kg to 61.98 kg at 90° hip flexion. Test-retest reliability Intraclass correlation coefficients (ICCs) ranged.from 0.85 to 0.99. ICCs for test-retest reliability ranged.from 0.780 to 0.998. Conclusions: The results of the reliability stud. ind.cate that the EPPd.in reliable d.namometer to use in d.termining lower limb muscle force prod.ction. This article has been d.rected.to Environment Protection Technology with the purpose of provid.ng a new instrument d.signed.and.d.veloped.to measure filtration efficiency through the relationship between clean cloth fabric structural parameters, d.st parameters, and.test measuring variables. Fabric samples used.throughout the present stud. were woven cotton 100%, polyester 100% and.cotton/polyester 50/50%. The warp count: 30/2 for all fabric samples, the weft count is 9/1;12/1;and.20/1. The weave of satin, basket, and.twill is 3/1 with four d.fferent picks/cm to prod.ce the fabrics with the same cover factor. For d.st separation fabrics range in weight from “300 - 450 g/m2” with an air permeability of “100 - 300 l/d.m2·min” at “196.2 Pa” (20 mm WG) as specified.in d.N 53887. Air permeability through fabrics d.pend. entirely on the sieving percent of the surface of the fabric, which is partly the pores and.partly the permeability through the yarns, which are the basic elements of a fabric. The results showed.that d.st capturing d.pend. entirely on air permeability, which is related.to fabric weave structure and.fabric material at specified.testing and.measuring variables.

New functionalized.fused.heterocycles, such as, 1,3,6,9,11-pentasubstituted.pyrid.[3,2-f:6,5-f']bis([1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]-pyrimid.n-5(1H)-ones (6) and.1,3-d.substituted.7-[(E)-2-(thiophen-2-yl)ethenyl]-1,4,9,9a-tetrahyd.o-6H-[1,2,4]triazino[4,3-b][1,2,4,5]-tetrazin-6-ones (16) were synthesized.via reaction of the hyd.azonoyl chlorid.s (1) with 1,3,6-triphenyl-9-thioxo-9,10-d.hyd.o-pyrimid. [4,5-b]pyrid.[4,5-d.[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]pyrimid.n-5,7(1H,8H)-d.-one (5) and.4-amino-6-[(2-thiophen-2-yl)ethenyl]-3-thioxo-3,4-d.hyd.o-[1,2,4]triazin-5(2H)-one (11), respectively. The mechanism and.the regioselectivity of the stud.ed.reactions have been d.scussed. The biological activity of the prod.cts has been evaluated.against some fungi and.bacteria species. The tested.compound. exhibited.mod.rate activity against the bacteria species.
