Naoxueshu Oral Liquid Accelerates Post-Craniotomy Hematoma Absorption in Patients:An Open-Label,Multicenter,and Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective To investigate whether Naoxueshu Oral Liquid(NXS)could promote hematoma absorption in post-craniotomy hematoma(PCH)*** This is an open-label,multicenter,and randomized controlled trial conducted at 9 hospitals in *** aged 18–80 years with post-craniotomy supratentorial hematoma volume ranging from 10 to 30 mL or post-craniotomy infratentorial hematoma volume less than 10 mL,or intraventricular hemorrhage following cranial surgery were *** were randomly assigned at a 1:1 ratio to the NXS(10 mL thrice daily for 15 days)or control groups using a randomization code *** medical care was administered in both *** primary outcome was the percentage reduction in hematoma volume from day 1 to day *** secondary outcomes included the percentage reduction in hematoma volume from day 1 to day 7,the absolute reduction in hematoma volume from day 1 to day 7 and 15,and the change in neurological function from day 1 to day 7 and *** safety was closely monitored throughout the ***,subgroup analysis was performed based on age,gender,history of diabetes,and etiology of intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH).Results A total of 120 patients were enrolled and randomly assigned between March 30,2018 and April 15,*** patient was lost to follow-up in the control ***,there were 119 patients(60 in the NXS group and 59 in the control group)included in the *** the full analysis set(FAS)analysis,the NXS group had a greater percentage reduction in hematoma volume from day 1 to day 15 than the control group[median(Q1,Q3):85%(71%,97%)vs.76%(53%,93%),P0.05).Furthermore,no adverse events were reported during the *** the FAS analysis,the NXS group exhibited a higher percentage reduction in hematoma volume on day 15 in the following subgroups:male patients,patients younger than 65 yea

Influence of apolipoprotein E and its receptors on cerebral amyloid precursor protein metabolism following traumatic brain injury

Traumatic brain injury （TBI） is the lead- ing cause of mortality and disability among young individuals in our society, and globally the incidence of TBI is rising sharply. Mounting evidence has indicated that apolipoprotein E （apoE： protein; APOE： gene） genotype influences the outcome after TBI. The proposed mechanism by which APOE affects the clinicopathological consequences of TBI is multifactorial and includes amyloid deposition, disruption of lipid distribution, dysfunction of mitochondrial energy production, oxidative stress and increases intracellular calcium in response to injury. This paper reviews the current state of knowledge regarding the influence of apoE and its receptors on cerebral amyloid betaprotein precursor metabolism following TBI.

Dynamic recovery for survivable virtual network embedding

Network virtualization is a promising way to overcome the current ossification of the Intemet. It is essential challenge to find effective, efficient and robust embedding algorithms for recovering virtual network. The virtual network mapping algorithm based on integer programming which was proposed months ago. But it did consider the faults of physical network resources, which is so called survivable virtual network embedding （VNE） problem. Previous strategies for enabling survivability in network virtualization focused on providing protection for the physical network or enhancing the virtual networks by providing backup physical resources in advance, and treated all the physical failures as link failures. In the article, a dynamic recovery method is proposed to solve the survivable virtual network embedding problem based on the integer programming VNE algorithm. The dynamic recovery method doesn＇t need to backup physical resources and it makes more substrate resources which can be used in the embedding. The dynamic recovery process will be activated only when physical failures occur. Different algorithms are used to recovery node and link failures. Simulations show that the method helps to recover almost all of physical failures by finding the substitute nodes and paths, and its performance is very close to that of pure VNE method without considering physical failures.

Hypoperfusion assessed by pressure reactivity index is associated with delayed cerebral ischemia after subarachnoid hemorrhage:an observational study

Fracture behavior and mechanism of highly fragmented steel cylindrical shell under explosive loading

An in-depth understanding of the fracture behavior and mechanism of metallic shells under internal explosive loading can help develop material designs for warheads and regulate the quantity and mass distribution of the fragments *** study investigated the fragmentation performance of a new high-carbon silicon-manganese(HCSiMn)steel cylindrical shell through fragment recovery *** with the conventional 45Cr steel shell,the number of small mass fragments produced by the HCSi Mn steel shell was significantly increased with a scale parameter of 0.57 g fitted by the Weibull distribution *** fragmentation process of the HCSi Mn shell exhibited more brittle tensile fracture characteristics,with the microcrack damage zone on the outer surface being the direct cause of its high *** the one hand,the doping of alloy elements resulted in grain refinement by forming metallographic structure of tempered sorbite,so that microscopic intergranular fracture reduces the characteristic mass of the fragments;on the other hand,the distribution of alloy carbides can exert a"pinning"effect on the substrate grains,causing more initial cracks to form and propagate along the brittle carbides,further improving the shell *** the killing power radius for light armored vehicles was slightly reduced by about 6%,the dense killing radius of HCSiMn steel projectile against personnel can be significantly increased by about 26%based on theoretical *** results provided an experimental basis for high fragmentation warhead design,and to some extent,revealed the correlation mechanism between metallographic structure and shell fragmentation.

N-glycosylation of Wnt3 regulates the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma by affecting Wnt/β-catenin signal pathway

BACKGROUND Wnt/FZD-mediated signaling pathways are activated in more than 90%of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cell *** a well-known secretory glycoprotein,Wnt3 can interact with FZD receptors on the cell surface,thereby activating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling ***,the N-glycosylation modification site of Wnt3 and the effect of this modification on the biological function of the protein are still *** To investigate the effect of Wnt3 N-glycosylation on the biological function of HCC *** Site-directed mutagenesis was used to verify the Wnt3 N-glycosylation sites,actinomycin D treatment was used to detect the stability of Wnt3 after site-directed mutation,the binding of the N-glycosylation site-directed mutant Wnt3 to FZD7 was observed by laser confocal microscopy,and the effects of the N-glycosylation site-directed mutation of Wnt3 on the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and the progression of HCC cells were detected by western blot and cell function *** Wnt3 has two N-glycosylation-modified sites(Asn90 and Asn301);when a single site at amino acid 301 is mutated,the stability of Wnt3 is weakened;the binding ability of Wnt3 to FZD7 decreases when both sites are mutated simultaneously;and the level of proteins related to the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway is *** proliferation,migration and invasion are also weakened in the case of single 301 site and double-site *** These results indicate that by inhibiting the N-glycosylation of Wnt3,the proliferation,migration,invasion and colony formation abilities of liver cancer cells can be weakened,which might provide new therapeutic strategies for clinical liver cancer in the future.

Hot Compression Behavior and Tensile Property of a Novel Ni-Co-Based Superalloy Prepared by Electron Beam Smelting Layered Solidification Technology

Metal oxide semiconductors(MOSs) are ideal sensing materials for detecting volatile organic compounds due to their low cost, diversity, high stability, and ease of production. However, it remains a grand challenge to develop the MOSs-based gas sensors for sensing isopropanol with desired performance via a simple, effective,and controllable method. Herein, we reported the preparation of the Al-doped Zn O(AZO)/WO_(3) heterostructure films by directly depositing the AZO coating onto the WO_(3) coating using a strategy of magnetron sputtering. The AZO/WO_(3) heterostructure films were constructed by numbers of irregular nanoparticles that were interconnected with each other. The AZO/WO_(3) heterostructure films-based gas sensors exhibited excellent isopropanolsensing performance with high response, promising selectivity, low detection limit, fast response rate, wide detection range, and ideal reproducibility. The promising isopropanol-sensing performance of the AZO/WO_(3) heterostructure films arises mainly from their high uniformity, unique microstructures with high surface roughness,and the construction of the heterostructure between the AZO and WO_(3) coatings. This work provides a versatile approach to prepare the MOSs-based heterostructure films for assembling the gas sensors.

Preoperative prediction of perineural invasion of rectal cancer based on a magnetic resonance imaging radiomics model:A dual-center study

Mismatch loss analysis of solar array output power on stratospheric airship during flight
