Phytolacca acinosa Roxb. （P acinosa） is a recently discovered manganese hyperaccumulator plant from southern China. It is a good candidate for phytoremediation of manganese（Mn） polluted soil for its high biomass and fast growth. Knowledge of the tissue localization and identification of heavy metals can provide essential information on metal toxicity and bioaccumulation mechanisms. Synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy （SRXRF） microprobe was used in this study to investigate the cellular distributions of Mn and other elements in root, stem, leaf, petiole and midrib of P. acinosa. The highest Mn content was found in the vascular tissues of root, stem, petiole and midrib. Cortex in root played a key role in Mn absorption and Mn was limited in the vascular bundle during the process of transportation in stem. Moreover, Mn content in leaf epidermis was higher than that in mesophyll, which suggested that the sequestration of Mn in leaf epidermis might be one of the detoxification mechanisms of P. acinosa. The significance of other elemental （such as P, S, K, Ca, Fe, Zn and Cu） distribution patterns and the correlation with Mn were also discussed.

Among the transition metal oxide catalysts,manganese oxides have great potential for formaldehyde(HCHO)oxidation at ambient temperature because of their high activity,nontoxicity,low cost,and polybasic *** this work,a MnO_(2)-based catalyst(M-MnO_(2))with an interconnected network structure was successfully synthesized by a one-step hydrothermal *** M-MnO_(2) catalyst was composed of the main catalytic agent,δ-MnO_(2) nanosheets,dispersed in a nonactive framework material of γ-MnOOH *** catalytic activity of M-MnO_(2) for HCHO oxidation at room temperature was much higher than that of the pure δ-MnO_(2) *** is attributed to the special interconnected network *** special interconnected network structure has high dispersion and specific surface area,which can provide more surface active oxygen species and higher surface hydroxyl groups to realize rapid decomposition of HCHO.

Two new ratiometric hypoxia probes(Ir-C343 and Ir-GFP)are synthesized by covalently incorporating florescent internal standard molecules coumarin 343(C343)and green fluorescent protein(GFP)into bis[1-(9,9-dimethyl-9H-fluoren-2-yl)-isoquinoline](succinylacetone)Ir(Ⅲ)(Ir-fliq),*** connecting with internal standard molecules,the Ir-fliq moiety still exhibits high sensitivity to oxygen concentration,while the fluorescence intensity of the internal standard remains relatively constant under different oxygen *** a result,a ratiometric response is realized that is only related to oxygen *** addition,Ir-GFP shows more promising applications in the ratiometric hypoxia imaging of cells due to its long excitation wavelength,good water solubility,high biocompatibility,and low relative fluorescence intensity compared with the phosphorescent emitter Ir-fliq.

BACKGROUND: Brain-dead donors are the main sources for organ transplantation, but many studies show that brain-death affects the organ's function after transplantation. This study was undertaken to investigate liver injury after brain-death in BA-Ma mini pigs and the protective effects of breviscapine on hepatic function and on PKC-alpha mRNA and its protein expression. METHODS: Fifteen BA-Ma mini pigs were equally divided into 3 groups at random: brain-dead (group B), breviscapine pretreated (group P), and control (group Q. The brain-dead model was established by increasing intracranial pressure in a modified, slow and intermittent way. At 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 hours after the initial brain-death, the levels of serum AST, ALT, TNF-alpha, IL-1 beta, and IL-6 were determined. The changes in hepatic tissues were assessed, and the expression of PKC-alpha and PKC-alpha mRNA was detected by immunohistochemistry and RTPCR, respectively. RESULTS: The levels of AST and ALT in groups B and P began to increase 12 hours after brain-death, while the values in group P were lower than those in group B (P<0.05). The levels of IL-1 beta, IL-6, and TNF-alpha in groups B and P at 3, 6, 12 and 18 hours were lower than those in group B (P<0.05). At 6, 12 and 24 hours, the expressions of PKC-a mRNA and PKC-a protein in group P were lower than those in group B (P<0.05). The degree of injury to hepatic cells in group P was milder than that in group B. CONCLUSIONS: Breviscapine inhibits the degree of PKC-alpha mRNA transcription and its protein translation, decreases the release of inflammatory factors, and thus alleviates hepatic injury during brain-death.

SOHO(small office/home office)routers provide services for end devices to connect to the Internet,playing an important role in ***,security vulnerabilities pervasively exist in these routers,especially in the web server modules,greatly endangering end *** discover these vulnerabilities,fuzzing web server modules of SOHO routers is the most popular ***,its effectiveness is limited due to the lack of input specification,lack of routers’internal running states,and lack of testing environment recovery ***,existing works for device fuzzing are more likely to detect memory corruption *** this paper,we propose a solution ESRFuzzer to address these *** is a fully automated fuzzing framework for testing physical SOHO *** continuously and effectively generates test cases by leveraging two input semantic models,i.e.,KEY-VALUE data model and CONF-READ communication model,and automatically recovers the testing environment with power *** also coordinates diversified mutation rules with multiple monitoring mechanisms to trigger multi-type *** the guidance of the two semantic models,ESRFuzzer can work in two ways:general mode fuzzing and D-CONF mode *** mode fuzzing can discover both issues which occur in the CONF and READ operation,while D-CONF mode fuzzing focus on the READ-op issues especially missed by general mode *** ran ESRFuzzer on 10 popular routers across five *** total,it discovered 136 unique issues,120 of which have been confirmed as 0-day vulnerabilities we *** an improvement of SRFuzzer,ESRFuzzer have discovered 35 previous undiscovered READ-op issues that belong to three vulnerability types,and 23 of them have been confirmed as 0-day vulnerabilities by *** experimental results show that ESRFuzzer outperforms state-of-the-art solutions in terms of types and number of vulnerabilities found.

　　The investigation of the chemistry of indoles has been, and continues to be, one of the most active areas of heterocyclic chemistry.[1] In particular, β-indolylketones have received much attention as important building blocks for the synthesis of many natural products and other biologically active compounds.[2] In continuation of our work in the synthesis of indole derivates,[3] we describe the remarkable catalytic of PTSA as a cheaper catalyst in ultrasound-accelerated Michael reaction of indole with α, β-unsaturated ketones (2), which provide one of the most efficient routes to the synthesis of β-indolyketones. In all cases, the substitution on the indole nucleus occurred exclusively at the 3-position, and N-alkylation products have not been observed. In addition, the structure of 3a was further confirmed by single crystal X-ray crystallography.……

With an urgent demand of energy efficientcoatings for building fenestrations, vanadium dioxide（VO2）-based thermochromic smart coatings have beenwidely investigated due to the reversible phase transition ofVO2 at a critical transition temperature of 68 ℃, which isaccompanied by the modulation of solar irradiation, espe-cially in the near-infrared region. As for commercialapplications in our daily life, there are still some obstaclesfor VO2-based smart coatings, such as the high phasetransition temperature, optical properties （luminous trans-mittance and solar modulation ability）, environmental sta-bility in a long-time period, as well as mass production. Inthis review, recent progress of thermochromic smart coat-ings to solve above obstacles has been surveyed. Mean-while, future development trends have also been given topromote the goal of commercial production of VO2 smartcoatings.
