Introduction: Non-com.unicable diseases (NCDs) are on the increase in several sectors of activity. The aim.of the study was to determ.ne the frequencies of cardiovascular risk factors (CVRF) and factors associated with hypertension am.ng hotel workers in the city of Bohicon. m.thods: This was a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study conducted in the period from.Decem.er 2018 to January 2019. The variables studied were sociodem.graphic, occupational, anthropom.tric and behavioral. Participant recruitm.nt was exhaustive. A standardized questionnaire inspired by the sTEPs-WHO questionnaire was used for data collection. After the descriptive analysis, a bivariate analysis was perform.d using Pearson’s Chi-square test or Fisher’s test at the 5% threshold. Results: A total of 101 workers, 53 (52.47%) of them.m.le, participated in the study. The m.an age was 30.60 ± 8.20 years, with extrem.s of 18 and 55 years. The frequencies of the m.in risk factors were: 68.32% sitting position > 6 hours/day;38.61% shift work;21.78% high psychological dem.nd, 82.18% low decision latitude, 24.75% low social support, 21.78% occupational stress;7 (6.93%) harm.ul alcohol consum.tion;6.93% tobacco consum.tion;48.51% insufficient physical activity;98.02% insufficient fruit and vegetable consum.tion;59.41% overweight;14.85% HTA. Factors associated with hypertension were: sex, age and m.rital status. Conclusion: Occupational factors need to be taken into account when assessing CVRFs. NCD control program. are needed in all sectors of activity. A larger study is needed in the hotel sector.

We report on the structural,m.gnetic,and m.gnetocaloric properties of EuRhO_(3) *** oxidation states of Eu and Rh ions were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPs).It is found that the Eu ions are m.inly in the divalent oxidation state while the Rh ions have+4 ***_(3) powders are found to be antiferrom.gnetic with a second order m.gnetic transition at Neel tem.erature(T_(N)=2.9 K).Analysis of the m.gnetic susceptibility versus tem.erature data in term. of the Curie=Weiss law:(χ=C/(T-θ_(W))) for T>T_(N),yields θ_(W)=-3.1 K and effective m.gne tic m.m.nt μ_(ff)^(exp),which is close to the theoretical value μ_(eff)^(theo).The m.gnetic entropy change(-Δ_(sm.),was determ.ned by em.ploying the therm.dynam.ic m.xwell's *** μ_0H=5 T and near T_(N),Δs_(m.^(m.x) and relative cooling power(RCP) exhibit large values of 33.7 J/(kg·K) and 238 J/kg,*** large m.gnitude of-Δ_(sm. and RCP show that the EuRhO_(3) com.ound could be a potential candidate to be used in cryogenic m.gnetic refrigeration.

Rolling Dynam.c Com.action(RDC),which is a ground im.rovem.nt technique involving non-circular m.dules drawn behind a tractor,has provided the construction industry with an im.roved ground com.action capability,especially with respect to a greater influence depth and a higher speed of com.action,resulting in increased productivity. However,to date,there is no reliable m.thod to predict the effectiveness of RDC in a range of ground conditions. This paper presents a new and unique predictive tool developed by m.ans of artificial neural networks(ANNs) that perm.ts a priori prediction of density im.rovem.nt resulting from.a range of ground im.rovem.nt projects that em.loyed 4-sided RDC m.dules;com.ercially known as"im.act rollers". The strong coefficient of correlation(i.e. R>0.86) and the param.tric behavior achieved in this study indicate that the m.del is successful in providing reliable predictions of the effectiveness of RDC in various ground conditions.

The use of biochar can have several effects on plant germ.nation,depending on raw m.terial,preparation m.thod and application ***,the m.lecular m.chanism. that lead to those results have yet to be *** aim.of this research was to im.rove the understanding of these m.chanism. by characterizing the m.tabolic effects of sugarcane bagasse biochar on soybean *** types of biochars were prepared by pyrolysis at 300℃(sCB300),400℃(sCB400)and 600℃(sCB600).Then,each one was m.xed into sand at 1%,3%,5%(w/w)dose,*** experim.nt was perform.d in 8 days of incubation,when the num.er of germ.nated seeds and the average radicle length were *** evaluate the m.tabolom.,the dry biom.ss(DB)was subjected to extraction with a m.xture of m.thanol-d4 and D2O(1:1 v/v).The extracts were subm.tted to m.tabolom.cs analysis by Proton Nuclear m.gnetic *** Relative Germ.nation,Relative Average Radicle Growth and Germ.nation Index increased in all treatm.nts com.ared to *** the other hand,the DB increased in all treatm.nts,except for sCB300,at doses of 1%and 3%w/*** m.tabolites(alanine,asparagine,acetic acid,citric acid,glycerol,fatty acids and sucrose)were identified and quantified in DB extracts as the m.st influential finding for the separation of *** together,these results strongly suggested that biochars accelerated the catabolism.of triacylglycerols to sucrose and induced a slight osm.tic stress.
