Taste interaction is a well-known phenomenon in sensory stodies,but how to quantify the magnitode of the effect of one tastant on other taste attribute(s)is still largely unsolved,let alone further explorations from a salivary biochemistry *** acquiring the individual taste threshold and evaluating the just noticeable difference(JND).this stody firstly established a quantitative method to assess the magnitude of taste interaction in a binary taste mixture by evaluating the concentration difference upon psychologically-comparable *** change of salty taste intensity(CsI)was therefore defined as the subtraction of JND using sour-salty taste stimulant from JND using pure salty taste stimulant,with a dimension of concentration in mmol/*** was then used to demonstrate how citric acid affected salty taste perception in a salty-sour binary taste mixture in 16 young and healthy *** of citric acid used in the binary taste mixtore were 0.***.0.09.0.***.0.24 and 0.40 mmolL,*** results showed that salty taste perception was enhanced(average CsI of 0.93 mmolL)when the citric acid concentration was low(at 0.05 and 0.09 mmolL).but with an increasing concentration of citric acid ranging from 0.14 to 0.40 mmol/L,this effect gradually turned from enhancement to suppression of salty taste perception(correspondingly a continoously decreasing CsI all the way down to an average of-2.94 mumol/L).It was also found that cystatin sN concentration in participants'unstimulated saliva samples was significantly negatively correlated with salty taste threshold(with and without the presence of citric acid),and it was one of the most significant factors affecting CsI,s shown in multiple regression *** anhydrase VI concentration in participants'unstimulated saliva sanples was also found to be significantly negatively correlated with salty taste recognition(with and without presence of citric acid).but it did not pose signific

Lactic acid(LA)plays a major role in the occurrence,development,and spread of *** by its high accumulation in tumor site,a novel lactate oxidase(LOD)conjugated two-dimensional Pd@Ir nanoplatform(Pd@Ir-LOD,PIL)was fabricated to combine cascade reaction with photothermal for tumor *** detail,the overexpressed LA in tumor microenvironment(TME)was a key factor to activate the PIL-based cascade reaction:(1)Plenty of H_(2)O_(2)could be generated from LA by the catalysis of LOD with O_(2);(2)potent·OH was produced from H_(2)O_(2)due to the peroxidase(POD)-like activity of PIL;(3)meantime,PIL’s catalase(CAT)-like activity could decompose part H_(2)O_(2)into O_(2)to achieve the purpose of LA cyclic ***,the reduced glutathione(GsH)scavenging capability of PIL might protect the produced reactive oxygen species(ROs)from being cleared to further improve the cascade therapeutic *** importantly,PIL had excellent photothermal conversion efficiency(37.35%)and manifested a surprising temperature rising effect in *** together,the decreasing LA concentration,accumulation of high-toxic ROs,the depletion of GsH together with the higher intra-tumoral temperature potently enhanced in vivo antitumor ***,a promising therapeutic tactic based on PIL integrating endogenous LA consumption,chemodynamic therapy(CDT),and photothermal therapy(PTT)has been put forward.

Characterization of hot deformation behavior of Ti-6Al-4V-0.5Ni-0.5Nb titanium alloy was investigated through isothermal compression at various temperatures from 750 to 1050℃and strain rate from 0.01 to 10 s^(-1).The isothermal compression experiment results showed that the peak stress of Ti-6Al-4V-0.5Ni-0.5Nb titanium alloy decreased with the temperature increasing and the strain rate *** softening mechanism was dynamic recovery below T_(β)and changed to dynamic recrystallization above T_(β).The arrheniustype relationship was used to calculate the constitutive equation of Ti-6Al-4V-0.5Ni-0.5Nb alloy in two-phase *** was found that the apparent activation energies were 427.095 kJ·mol^(-1)in theα+βphase region and 205.451 kJ·mol^(-1)in theβphase region,*** the basis of dynamic materials model,the processing map is generated,which shows that the highest peak efficiency of power dissipation of 56%occurs at about 1050℃/0.01 s^(-1).It can be found in the processing maps that the strain had significant effect on the peak region of power dissipation efficiency of Ti-6Al-4V-0.5Ni-0.5Nb ***,optimized hot working regions were investigated and validated through microstructure *** optimum thermo mechanical process condition for hot working of Ti-6Al-4V-0.5Ni-0.5Nb titanium alloy was suggested to be in the temperature range of 950-1000℃with a strain rate of 0.01-0.1 s^(-1).

This study utilized a longitudinal design to examine the relationships between the specific components of executive function(EF)and the internalizing and externalizing behavior across different genders and contexts in Chinese cultural ***,cognitive flexibility,and working memory of EF based on 101 preschool children’s(48 boys and 53 girls)(M_(T1)=4.25,sD=0.76)performances were measured when completing tasks in NIH *** months later,boys’and girls’internalizing and externalizing behavior in home-and school-settings was assessed through mother’s feedback on the strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire and teachers’reports of the Child Behavior Rating *** results show that boys’inhibition,cognitive flexibility,and working memory negatively predict their externalizing behavior in the home context,while their cognitive flexibility negatively predicts externalizing behavior in the school ***,boys’inhibition positively predicts their internalizing behavior only in the school *** girls,their cognitive flexibility positively predicts externalizing behavior only in the school *** significant relationship is found among the girls between EF and problem behavior in the home *** findings suggest that gender differences and a shift in contexts could alternate the relationship between EF and children’s problem *** study sheds light on targeted preventions and interventions based on contexts and gender.

solid oxide electrolysis cells(sOECs)provide a promising way for converting renewable energy into chemical ***,NiO/CGO(nickel-gadolinium doped ceria)cermet has shown its excellent properties in ionic and electronic conductivity under reducing ***,we developed a novel 1D NiO/CGO cathode through a cerium metal-organic framework(MOF)derived *** cathode’s 1D nanostructure integrated with a microchannel scaffold facilitates enhanced mass transport,providing vertically aligned pathways for CO_(2)and H_(2)O ***,the 1D framework increases the number of interfacial sites and reduces ion diffusion distances,thereby simplifying electron/ion ***,this advanced cathode achieved a significant breakthrough in sOEC performance,maintaining efficient CO_(2)and H_(2)O electrolysis at an extraordinary current density of 1.41 A/cm^(2)at 1.5 V and excellent stability over 24 h at 850℃.The enhanced performance of this newly developed cathode not only achieves a remarkable 100%improvement compared to those of NiO/CGO cathodes with varying geometrical configurations but also surpasses those of commercial NiO/CGO catalysts by an outstanding 40%when tested under identical *** development of the 1D NiO/CGO enhances the efficiency and durability of ceramic cathodes for CO_(2)and H_(2)O co-electrolysis in sOECs and improves the scalability and effectiveness of sOECs in renewable energy applications.
