The preparation for an experimental soft x-ray tomography study on the Heliotron J (H-J) machine is carried out,with the objectives of evaluating the capability of the current soft x-ray tomographic system in terms of the identification of different mode structures and their poloidal rotation,and the axis shift with different plasma and machine parameters,and fixing the physics goals for the experimental *** preparations were carried out via a simulated soft x-ray data set arising from different plasma conditions,such as magnetic islands,low beta and high *** x-ray tomography (sXT) is performed by the discrete pixel method including singular value decomposition and Phillips-Tikhonov regularization,to obtain clear and smooth *** H-J soft x-ray tomography results from simulated soft x-rays for the equilibrium H-J plasma sensed the magnetic axis shift clearly and an estimate was also *** reconstruction for mode structure m =1/n =1 was obtained along with the realization of the poloidal rotation of the *** reconstruction for the m =2/n =1 mode was not very clear for the current soft x-ray diagnostic *** mode identification was not possible due to the lack of *** sXT from the current soft x-ray diagnostic on H-J,the magnetic axis shift can be estimated and the m =1/n =1 mode can be *** of higher poloidal modes is difficult with the current design.

Using the momentum space representation, we solve the Klein--Gordon equation in one spatial dimension for the case of mixed scalar and vector linear potentials in the context of deformed quantum mechanics characterized by a finite minimal uncertainty in position. The expressions of bound state energies and the associated wave functions are exactly obtained.

Mathematical models between surfacing welding properties of C, Cr, Mo, V, W alloy system and encode factors of alloy additives are established by test methods of advanced trial optimizing technology and computer assistant design (CAD). They help to draw unitary functions and binary isoclines diagrams through which the influence of encode factorial linearity, nonlinear effect and factors interaction of alloy additives on the performances of surfacing welding can be analyzed directly and quantitatively. Meanwhile, the performances of deposited metal can also be predicted according to the content of alloy additives.

The intrinsic physical relationship of vorticity between modes A and B in the three-dimensional wake transition is *** numerical simulations for the flow past a square-section cylinder are carried out at Reynolds numbers of 180 and 250,associated with modes A and B,*** on the analysis of spacial distributions of vorticity in the near wake,characteristics of the vertical vorticity in modes A and B are ***,the relationship of three vorticity components with specific signs is summarized into two sign laws,as intrinsic physical relationships between two instability *** the theory of vortex-induced vortex,such two sign laws confirm that there are two and only two kinds of vortex-shedding patterns in the near wake,just corresponding to modes A and *** brief,along the free stream direction,mode A can be described by the parallel shedding vertical vortices with the same sign,while mode B is described by the parallel shedding streamwise vortices with the same ***,it is found out that the|-type vortex is a basic kind of vortex structure in both modes A and B.

Influence of Co Content on Raman and Photoluminescence spectra of Co Doped ZnO Nanowires

Co doped ZnO nanowires with different Co contents have been fabricated by a chemical vapor deposition method. X-ray diffraction results show that all the samples are of single phase and crystallize in wurtzite ZnO structure. The lattice parameter a increases with increasing Co content, while the parameter c has no obvious change with increasing Co. Raman spectra show that the nonpolar E2（High） mode becomes broad and weak with the doping of Co, which indicates that the incorporation of Co causes structural disorder in the crystalline columnar ZnO lattice. The photolurninescence spectra exhibit that the position of the ultraviolet emission shifts to short wavelength and the intensity decreases with increasing Co. The green emission is affected by two contrary factors. It is increased by the introduced defects, but suppressed by the interaction between Co doping and native defects and the later affects it more significantly.

This review paper provides an overview of the micropillar compression technique as applied to magnesium(Mg) and its alloys. It explores the influence of various factors, such as pillar size, shape, temperature, and strain rate on the mechanical properties of ***, the impact of alloying elements, aging, and precipitates in Mg alloys has been extensively examined, revealing their significant influence on mechanical performance. The study highlights the strength and strain hardening improvements in Mg with decreasing pillar size in micropillar compression. Furthermore, the role of precipitates as strengthening agents, affecting deformation mechanisms and overall mechanical response, is explored. These valuable insights are crucial for designing Mg-based materials with enhanced mechanical properties for advanced engineering applications.

Gallium is a valuable rare metal which is mainly being used in the production of GaAs. The demand for gallium is increasing but production is limited since gallium is extracted only as a by-product of bauxite processing. On the other hand coal, ironmaking coke and iron ore gangue contain traces of gallium. However little is known about the behaviour of gallium in ironmaking. The aim of the study is to clarify the distribution of gallium between hot metal, slag and top gas by means of laboratory experiments. It was found that Ga2O3 is not stable in blast furnace slags and that gallium is retained in hot metal. Vacuum distillation experiments with hot metal showed that gallium is not transferred to the gas phase. Data on the input and output of gallium at two industrial blast furnaces, as well as chemical analyses of the gallium content of several cokes are presented, too.

Multi-place nonlocal systems have attracted attention from many *** this paper,we mainly review the recent progresses on two-place nonlocal systems(Alice-Bob systems)and four-place nonlocal ***-place systems can firstly be derived from many physical problems by using a multiple scaling method with a discrete symmetry group including parity,time reversal,charge conjugates,rotations,field reversal and exchange *** nonlocal systems can also be derived from the symmetry reductions of coupled nonlinear systems via discrete symmetry *** the other hand,to solve multi-place nonlocal systems,one can use the symmetry-antisymmetry separation approach related to a suitable discrete symmetry group,such that the separated systems are coupled local *** using the separation method,all the known powerful methods used in local systems can be applied to nonlocal *** this review article,we take two-place and four-place nonlocal nonlinear schr?dinger(Nls)systems and Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(KP)equations as simple examples to explain how to derive and solve *** types of novel physical and mathematical points related to the nonlocal systems are especially emphasized.

Nanocrystalline supersaturated solid solutions (sa in Fe) with sn content less than 50 at. %,and Fesn2 and Fe1.3sn intermetallic compounds have been prepared by mechanical alloying of Fe and sn mixture powders with composition of Fe1-xsnx (x≤0.5).The atomic alloying the formation and microstructure, especially the coordination environments, of the resultant alloys have been studied by X-ray diffraction, 57Fe and 119sn Mossbauer spectroscopy and diffrrential scanning calorimetry. The Fe and sn coordination environments and the composition dependence of the hyperfine parameters on the Fe and sn content have been fully discussed with respect to the solid dissolution alloying, grain refinement, and distortion caused or induced by mechanical alloying.
