solid-state electrolyte Li_(10)GeP_(2)s_(12)(LGPs)has a high lithium ion conductivity of 12 ms cm^(-1)at room temperature,but its inferior chemical stability against lithium metal anode impedes its practical *** all solutions,Ge atom substitution of the solid-state electrolyte LGPs stands out as the most promising solution to this interface problem.A systematic screening framework for Ge atom substitution including ionic conductivity,thermodynamic stability,electronic and mechanical properties is utilized to solve *** fast screening,an enhanced model Dop Net FC using chemical formulas for the dataset is adopted to predict ionic ***,Li_(10)srP_(2)s_(12)(LsrPs)is screened out,which has high lithium ion conductivity(12.58 ms cm^(-1)).In addition,an enhanced migration of lithium ion across the Lsr Ps/Li interface is ***,compared to the LGPs/Li interface,LsrPs/Li interface exhibits a larger schottky barrier(0.134 eV),smaller electron transfer region(3.103?),and enhanced ability to block additional electrons,all of which contribute to the stabilized *** applied theoretical atom substitution screening framework with the aid of machine learning can be extended to rapid determination of modified specific material schemes.

In this paper,I criticize Joel Feinberg's argument of soft paternalism,which stands against hard paternalism,as being *** assessing one's voluntariness is very difficult and controversial,paternalistic measures would be preferable to be implemented by hard paternalism rather than soft paternalism.I then examine four usual criticisms of hard paternalism from the perspective of utilitarianism and the principle of autonomy.I argue that these criticisms are unsound and unfounded,and I defend hard paternalism from the perspective of Confucian familism.I argue that as one's life and identity are inseparable from one's family,“self-regarding”actions,traditionally understood,do not only affect the self,but also one's family ***,paternalistic measures to protect individuals from self-harming are also aimed to protect their family members which are indeed compatible with Mill's harm principle.

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has caused changes in the global health system,causing significant setbacks in healthcare systems *** pandemic has also shown resilience,flexibility,and creativity in reacting to the *** severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(sARs-CoV-2)infection targets most of the respiratory tract,resulting in a severe sickness called acute respiratory distress syndrome that may be fatal in some *** the lung is the primary organ targeted by COVID-19 viruses,the clinical aspect of the disease is varied and ranges from asymptomatic to respiratory ***,due to an unorganized immune response and several affected mechanisms,the liver may also experience liver cell injury,ischemic liver dysfunction,and drug-induced liver injury,which can result in respiratory failure because of the immune system’s disordered response and other compromised processes that can end in multisystem organ *** with liver cirrhosis or those who have impaired immune systems may be more likely than other groups to experience worse results from the sARs-CoV-2 *** thus intend to examine the pathogenesis,current therapy,and consequences of liver damage concerning COVID-19.

How mutual funds respond to asymmetric feedback tradingin China’s stock market

Previous studies show that individual investors play a dominant role in China's stock *** behavior of chasing-rise being stronger than killing-fall leads to asymmetry of feedback *** article investigates how mutual funds react to this market *** China's stock and fund data from 2003 to 2019,we find that mutual funds tend to hold fewer shares when asymmetric feedback trading of the relevant stock gets more *** negative relationship is robust after controlling past returns,turnover rates,and firm risk factors,moreover,it attenuates when the market sentiment is bullish or when stocks are allowed *** results show that mutual funds'selling towards asymmetric feedback trading does not make excess return but leads to significant risk *** findings may be related to uncertainty associated with asymmetric feedback trading,and thus support the limit market participation theory from the second largest stock market.

When nano-fillers are used to enhance the thermal conductivity of organic phase change materials(PCMs),the naturally formed interface is considered to hinder thermal transport of the composite ***,the effect of the interface on the thermal properties of surrounding PCM has not been fully *** this paper,three composite PCMs(Ery@siC,Ery@siO_(2) and Ery@si_(3)N_(4))were prepared by melt-blending *** local thermal conductivity and reduced Young’s modulus(E^(*))of the erythritol at the interface and far away from the interface in the composite PCMs were simultaneously measured by scanning thermal microscopy(sThM).The results revealed significant enhancement in local thermal conductivity of erythritol at the interface and its obvious positive correlation with E^(*).For different composite PCMs,molecular dynamics(MD)simulations suggested that the increase in intrinsic thermal conductivity and E^(*)of erythritol is attributed to the increase in interaction energy between erythritol and nanoparticles,as more erythritol phonon vibrations transform from localized mode to delocalized mode and erythritol has a higher density at the *** findings will provide new ideas for the design of PCM for energy storage.

Rodent pests not only cause severe agricultural loss but also spread zoonotic pathogens to human ***-agulant rodenticides are widely used to decrease the population densities of rodents but often lead to the spillover of ectoparasites becausefleas and ticks may gather on surviving ***,it is necessary to killfleas and ticks before culling rodents to minimize the risk of pathogen *** this study,we used a mixture of ivermectin(an antiparasitic drug)and bromadiolone(an anticoagulant rodenticide)to control both rodent andflea/tick *** found that in a laboratory test,0.01%ivermectin bait was not lethal for greater long-tailed hamsters after 7 days of treatment,while 0.1%ivermectin bait was lethal for approximately 33%of treated *** afield test,bait containing 0.001%,0.005%,0.01%,and 0.05%ivermectin decreased the number offleas per vole of Brandt’s voles to 0.42,0.22,0.12,and 0.2,respectively,compared with 0.77 in the control group,indicating that 0.01%ivermectin bait performed best in *** another laboratory test,bait containing a 0.01%ivermectin and 0.005%bromadiolone mixture caused the death of all voles within 6–14 days after the intake of the *** thefield test,the bait containing 0.01%ivermectin and 0.005%bromadiolone reduced the average number offleas per vole to 0.35,which was significantly lower than the 0.77 of the control *** results indicate that a 0.01%ivermectin and 0.005%bromadiolone mixture could be used to control both rodents andfleas to minimize the spillover risk of disease transmission when using traditional rodenticides.

Lung cancer,highly prevalent and the leading cause of cancer-related death globally,persists as a significant challenge due to the lack of definitive tumor markers for early diagnosis and personalized therapeutic ***,extracellular vesicles(EVs),functioning as natural carriers for intercellular communication,have received increasing attention due to their ability to traverse biological barriers and deliver diverse biological cargoes,including cytosolic proteins,cell surface proteins,microRNA,lncRNA,circRNA,DNA,and *** are increasingly recognized as a valuable resource for non-invasive liquid biopsy,as well as drug delivery platforms,and anticancer vaccines for precision medicine in lung ***,given the diagnostic and therapeutic potential of tumor-associated EVs for lung cancer,we discuss this topic from a translational *** delve into the specific roles that EVs play in lung cancer carcinogenesis and offer a particular perspective on how advanced engineering technologies can overcome the current challenges and expedite and/or enhance the translation of EVs from laboratory research to clinical settings.

Porous flower-like snO_(2)/CdsnO_(3) microstructures self-assembled by uniform nanosheets were synthesized using a hydrothermal process followed by calcination,and the sensing performance was measured when a gas sensor,based on such microstructures,was exposed to various volatile organic compound(VOC)*** response value was found to reach as high as 100.1 when the snO_(2)/CdsnO_(3) sensor was used to detect 100 ppm formaldehyde gas,much larger than those of other tested VOC gases,indicating the high gas sensitivity possessed by this sensor especially in the detection of formaldehyde ***,the response/recovery process was fast with the response time and recovery time of only 13 and 21 s,*** excellent gas sensing performance derive from the advantages of snO_(2)/CdsnO_(3),such as abundant n-n heterojunctions built at the interface,high available specific surface area,abundant porosity,large pore size,and rich reactive oxygen species,as well as joint effects arising from snO_(2) and CdsnO_(3),suggesting that such porous flower-like snO_(2)/CdsnO_(3) microstructures composed of nanosheets have a high potential for developing gas sensors.

The successful observation of gravitational waves has provided humanity with an additional method to explore the universe,particularly black *** this study,we utilize data from LIGO and Virgo gravitational wave observations to test the first law of black hole mechanics,employing two different *** consider the secondary compact object as a perturbation to the primary black hole before the merger,and the remnant black hole as a stationary black hole after the *** the pre-merger and post-merger analysis,our results demonstrate consistency with the first law,with an error level of approximate 25%at a68%credibility level for *** the full inspiral-merger-ringdown analysis,our results show consistency with the first law of black hole mechanics,with an error level of about 6%at a 68%credibility level and 10%at a 95%credibility level for ***,we observe that the higher the mass ratio of the gravitational wave source,the more consistent our results are with the first law of black hole ***,our study sheds light on the nature of compact binary coalescence and their implications for black hole mechanics.
