Optical tweezers(OTs)can immobilize and manipulate objects with sizes that span between nano-and micrometer *** manipulating ability of OTs is traditionally characterized by stability factor(s),which can only indicate an empirical“hit-or-miss”***,the current quantitative models for trapping stability rarely consider the influence of external *** this paper,a comprehensive analysis to quantify the optical trapping stability in a perturbed asymmetric potential well is presented from the perspective of statistics,especially for weak trapping *** analytical formulation takes experimentally measurable parameters including particle size,optical power,and spot width as inputs and precisely outputs a statistically relevant mean trapping ***,this formulation takes into account general and realistic cases including fluidic flow velocity and other *** verify the model,a back-focal-plane-interferometer-monitored trapping experiment in a flow is set up and the statistical characteristics of trapping time demonstrate good agreement with theoretical *** total,the model quantitatively reveals the effects of external disturbance on trapping time,which will find applications where optical trapping stability is challenged by external perturbations in weak trapping conditions.

Acoustically actuated magnetoelectric(ME)antenna based on the efficient oscillation of magnetic dipoles has recently been considered as a promising solution for portable very-low-frequency ***,the severe nonlinear dynamic behavior in the case of strong-field excitation results in insufficient radiation capability and poor communication performance for a conventional ME *** this work,we propose to suppress the nonlinearity of an ME antenna by neutralizing the spring-hardening effect in amorphous Metglas and the spring-softening effect in piezoelectric ceramics through an ME multilayered transmitter(ME-MLTx)*** a driving voltage of 50 V_(pp)at the resonance frequency of 21.2 kHz,a magnetic flux density as high as 108 fT at a distance of 100 m is produced from a single *** addition,ME-MLTx performs a decreased mechanical quality factor(Q_(m))less than 40.65,and,thus,a broadened bandwidth of 500 Hz is ***,a communication link transmitting binary American standard Code for Information Interchange-coded message is built,which allows for an error-free communication with a distance of 18 m and a data rate of 300 bit/s in the presence of heavy environment *** communication distance can be further estimated over 100 m when using a femtotesla-class-inductive magnetic field *** obtained results are believed to bring ME antennas one step closer to being applicable in very-low-frequency communications.

Optical Extinctions of Inter-Arm Molecular Clouds in M31:A Pilot study for the Upcoming CssT Observations

Recent submillimeter dust thermal emission observations have unveiled a significant number of inter-arm massive molecular clouds in ***,the effectiveness of this technique is limited to its sensitivity,making it challenging to study more distant *** study introduces an alternative approach,utilizing optical extinctions derived from space-based telescopes,with a focus on the forthcoming China space station Telescope(CssT).We first demonstrate the capability of this method by constructing dust extinction maps for 17 inter-arm massive molecular clouds in M31 using the Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury *** analysis reveals that inter-arm massive molecular clouds with an optical extinction(A_(V)) greater than 1.6 mag exhibit a notable A_(V) excess,facilitating their *** majority of these inter-arm massive molecular clouds show an A_(V) around 1 mag,aligning with measurements from our JCMT *** validation using a mock CssT RGB star catalog confirms the method's *** show that the derived A_(V)values using CssT z and y photometries align more closely with the input *** clouds with A_(V)> 1.6 mag can also be identified using the CssT mock *** thus claim that future CssT observation clouds provide an effective way for the detection of inter-arm massive molecular clouds with significant optical extinction in nearby galaxies.

salmonella grows better under aerobic conditions as a facultative anaerobic foodborne pathogenic bacteria. The oxygen-scavenging activity of Lactococcus lactis in the intestinal tract is a promising strategy for preventing salmonella infection. In this study， the aerobic respiration requirement and preventive mechanism of Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis (L. lactis) KLDs 4.0325 in murine models infected by salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium (s. Typhimurium) sL1344 were investigated. Results indicate that L. lactis KLDs 4.0325 is capable of aerobic respiratory metabolism in the host intestine when exogenous heme exists， and decrease intestinal oxygen concentration， which in turn trigger autophagy of intestinal cells to reduce s. Typhimurium load， improve gut microbiota composition， alleviate intestinal barrier injury and inflammation response. These results suggest that aerobic respiration L. lactis KLDs 4.0325 can prevent s. Typhimurium infection in a new way in which by restoring intestinal cell hypoxia， maintaining immune balance and regulating intestinal flora.

A Blood Hepatocellular Carcinoma signature Recognizes Very small Tumor Nodules with Metastatic Traits

Background and Aims:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cases with small nodules are commonly treated with radi-ofrequency ablation(RFA),but the recurrence rate remains *** study aimed to establish a blood signature for identifying HCC with metastatic traits ***:Data from HCC patients treated between 2010 and 2017 were retrospectively collected.A blood signature for meta-static HCC was established based on blood levels of alpha-fetoprotein and des-γ-carboxy-prothrombin,cell-free DNA(cfDNA)mutations,and methylation changes in target genes in frozen-stored plasma samples that were collected before RFA *** HCC blood signature was validated in patients prospectively enrolled ***:Of 251 HCC patients in the retrospective study,33.9% experienced recurrence within 1 year *** HCC blood signature identified from these patients included des-γ-carboxy-prothrombin≥40mAU/mL with cfDNA mutation score,where cfDNA mutations occurred in the genes of TP53,CTNNB1,and TERT *** signature effectively predicted 1-year post-RFArecurrence of HCC with 92% specificity and 91% sensitivity in the retrospective dataset,and with 87% specificity and 76% sensitivity in the prospective dataset(n=32 patients).Among 14 cases in the prospective study with biopsy tissues available,positivity for the HCC blood signature was associated with a higher HCC tissue score and shorter distance between HCC cells and ***:This study established an HCC blood signature in pre-RFA blood that potentially reflects HCC with metastatic traits and may be valuable for predicting the disease’s early recurrence post-RFA.

Background Clostridium butyricum(CB)is a probiotic that can regulate intestinal microbial composition and improve meat *** protected fat(RPF)has been shown to increase the dietary energy density and provide essential fatty ***,it is still unknown whether dietary supplementation with CB and RPF exerts beneficial effects on growth performance and nutritional value of goat *** study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary CB and RPF supplementation on growth performance,meat quality,oxidative stability,and meat nutritional value of finishing ***-two goats(initial body weight,20.5±0.82 kg)were used in a completely randomized block design with a 2 RPF supplementation(0 vs.30 g/d)×2 CB supplementation(0 vs.1.0 g/d)factorial treatment *** experiment included a 14-d adaptation and 70-d data and sample collection *** goats were fed a diet consisted of 400 g/kg peanut seedling and 600 g/kg corn-based concentrate(dry matter basis).Result Interaction between CB and RPF was rarely observed on the variables measured,except that shear force was reduced(Psed intramuscular fat(IMF)content with adding RPF was more pronounced(Ps(P=0.007),total antioxidant capacity(P=0.050),glutathione peroxidase activities(P=0.006),concentrations of 18:3(Psaturated fatty acids(P=0.048)were increased,whereas the L*values(Pshear force(P=0.050)and malondialdehyde content(P=0.044)were decreased by adding ***,CB supplementation increased essential amino acid(P=0.027),flavor amino acid(P=0.010)and total amino acid contents(P=0.024)as well as upregulated the expression of lipoprotein lipase(P=0.034)and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ)(P=0.012),and downregulated the expression of stearoyl-CoA desaturase(sCD)(P=0.034).The RPF supplementation increased dry
