Immediate implantation of ultrafine fiber slow-release system based on cell electrospinning to induce osteogenesis of mesenchymal stem cells

This study presents the development and evaluation of a poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydroxybutyrate)(P34HB)ultrafine fiber slow-release system for in vivo osteogenic induction of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(HUcMscs).Utilizing dual-nozzle and cell electrospinning techniques,the system encapsulates L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate magnesium(AsP),βB-glycerophosphate sodium and dexamethasone(DEX)within the'fbers,ensuring sustained osteogenic *** scaffold's morphology,characterization,hydrophilicity,mechanical properties and cellular behavior were *** subcutaneous implantation in rabbits was con-ducted to observe its ectopic osteogenic induction *** fabricated P34HB ultrafine fiber slow-release *** ization *** distribution of HUcMscs and inducing components within the scaffold,with no chemical reactions affecting the active *** vitro tests showcased a prolonged release of DEX and AsP,while biocompatibility assays highlighted the scaffold's suitability for cellular *** Red,type I collagen,and osteopontin(OPN)staining verifed the scaffold's potent osteogenic induction effect on ***,immediate implantation into New Zealand White rabbits led to significant new bone formation within 8 *** findings underscore the system's potential for immediate in vivo implantation without prior in vitro induction,marking a promising advancement in bone tissue engineering.

Molecular mechanism of Xuebijing in treating pyogenic liver abscess complicated with sepsis

BAcKGROUND:Xuebijing(XBJ)can alleviate the inflammatory response,improve organ function,and shorten the intensive care unit(IcU)stay in patients with pyogenic liver abscess(PLA)complicated with sepsis,but the molecular mechanisms have not been *** study aimed to explore the molecular mechanism of XBJ in treating PLA complicated with sepsis using a network pharmacology ***:The active ingredients and targets of XBJ were retrieved from the ETcM *** targets related to PLA and sepsis were retrieved from the Genecards,PharmGKB,DisGenet,Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM),Therapeutic Targets Database(TTD),and DrugBank *** targets of PLA complicated with sepsis were mapped to the targets of XBJ to identify potential treatment ***-protein interaction networks were analyzed using the sTRING *** treatment targets were imported into the Metascape platform for Gene Ontology(GO)functional enrichment and Kyoto encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment *** docking was performed to validate the interactions between active ingredients and core ***:XBJ was found to have 54 potential treatment targets for PLA complicated with ***-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)were identifi ed as core *** enrichment analysis revealed important pathways,including the interleukin-17(IL-17)signaling pathway,the TNF signaling pathway,the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathway,and the Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling *** docking experiments indicated stable binding between XBJ active ingredients and core ***:XBJ may exert therapeutic eff ects on PLA complicated with sepsis by modulating signaling pathways,such as the IL-17,TNF,NF-κB,and TLR pathways,and targeting IL-1β,IL-6,and TNF.

The OscLV2s-OscRN1 co-receptor regulates grain shape in rice

The highly conserved cLV–WUs negative feedback pathway plays a decisive role in regulating stem cell maintenance in shoot and floral meristems in higher plants,including Arabidopsis,rice,maize,and ***,we find significant natural variations in the OscLV2c,OscLV2d,and OscRN1 loci in a genome-wide association study of grain shape in ***2a,OscLV2c,OscLV2d,and OscRN1 negatively regulate grain length–width ratio and show distinctive geographical distribution,indica–japonica differentiation,and artificial selection ***,OscLV2a and OscRN1 interact biochemically and genetically,suggesting that the two components function in a complex to regulate grain shape of ***,the genetic contributions of the haplotypes combining OscLV2a,OscLV2c,and OscRN1 are significantly higher than those of each single gene alone in controlling key yield *** findings identify two groups of receptor-like kinases that may function as distinct co-receptors to control grain size in rice,thereby revealing a previously unrecognized role of the cLV class genes in regulating seed development and proposing a framework to understand the molecular mechanisms of the cLV–WUs pathway in rice and other crops.

Geochemistry and depositional environment of fuchsite quartzites from sargur Group,western Dharwar craton,India

Meso-Neoarchean fuchsite quartzites are present in different stratigraphic positions of Dharwar craton including the oldest(~3.3 Ga)sargur Group of western Dharwar *** present study deals with the petro-graphic and geochemical characteristics of the fuchsite quartzites from the Ghattihosahalli belt to evaluate their genesis,depositional setting and the enigma involved in the anc.ent sedimentation *** major mineral assemblages include quartz,fuchsite,and feldspars along with accessory kyanite and *** geochemical com-positions are characterized by high siO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),low MgO,caO,strongly enriched cr(1326–6899 ppm),Ba(1165–3653 ppm),sr(46–210 ppm),V(107–868 ppm)and Zn(11–158 ppm)contents compared to the upper continental crust(Ucc).The Ucc normalized rare earth element(REE)patterns are characterized by depleted light REE[(La/sm)Ucc=0.33–0.95]compared to heavy REE[(Gd/Yb)_(Ucc)=0.42–1.65]with conspicuous positive Eu-anomalies(Eu/Eu^(*)=1.35–18.27)characteristic of hydrothermal solutions evidenced through the interlayered *** overall major and trace element systematics reflect a combined mafic-felsic provenance and suggest their deposition at a passive continental margin *** comprehensivefield,petrographic,and geo-chemical studies indicate that these quartzites are infiltrated by cr-richfluids released during high-grade metamorphism of associated ultramafic *** sargur and the subse-quent Dharwar orogeny amalgamated diverse lithounits from different tectonic settings,possibly leading to the release of cr-richfluids and the formation of fuchsite quartzite during or after the *** sug-gest a pre-existing stable crust prior to the sargur Group and the link between orogenic events and various mineral deposits in the Dharwar craton.

Experimental and numerical simulation study on the erosion behavior of the elbow of gathering pipeline in shale gas field

During the production period of shale gas, proppant particles and rock debris are produced together,which will seriously erode the elbows of gathering pipelines. In response to this problem, this paper takes the elbow of the gathering pipeline in the changning shale Gas Field as an example to test the erosion rate and material removal mechanism of the test piece at different angles of the elbow through experiments and compares the four erosion models with the experimental results. Through analysis, it is found that the best prediction model for quartz sand-carbon steel erosion is the Oka model. Based on the Oka model, FLUenT software was used to simulate and analyze the law of erosion of the elbow of the gas gathering pipeline under different gas flow velocities, gas gathering pressure, particle size, length of L1,and bending directions of the elbow. And a spiral pipeline structure is proposed to reduce the erosion rate of the elbow under the same working conditions. The results show that this structure can reduce erosion by 34%.

This paper considers the random coeffic.ent autoregressive model with time-functional variance noises,hereafter the RcA-TFV *** first establish the consistency and asymptotic normality of the conditional least squares estimator for the constant *** semiparametric least squares estimator for the variance of the random coeffic.ent and the nonparametric estimator for the variance function are constructed,and their asymptotic results are reported.A simulation study is presented along with an analysis of real data to assess the performance of our method in finite samples.

star-forming processes strongly influence the IsM ***,many high-quality databases are available at millimeter *** them,it is possible to carry out studies that review and deepen previous *** these studies involve large samples of sources,it is preferred to use direct tools to study the molecular *** the aim of testing these tools such as the use of the HcN/HNc ratio as a thermometer,and the use of H^(13)cO^(+),Hc_(3)N,N_(2)H^(+) and c_(2)H as "chemical clocks," we present a molecular line study toward 55 sources representing massive young stellar objects at different evolutionary stages:infrared dark clouds(IRDcs),highmass protostellar objects(HMPOs),hot molecular cores(HMcs) and ultracompact H II *** found that the use of the HcN/HNc ratio as a universal thermometer in the IsM should be taken with care because the HcN optical depth is a big issue that can affect the ***,this tool should be utilized only after a careful analysis of the HcN spectrum,checking that no line,neither the main nor the hyperfine ones,presents absorption *** point out that the analysis of the emission of H^(13)cO^(+),Hc_(3)N,N_(2)H^(+) and c_(2)H could be useful to trace and distinguish regions among IRDcs,HMPOs and *** molecular line widths of these four species increase from the IRDc to the HMc stage,which can be a consequence of the gas dynamics related to the starforming processes taking place in the molecular *** results not only contribute with more statistics,acting as a probe of such chemical tools,useful to obtain information in large samples of sources,but also complement previous works through the analysis of other types of sources.

Exogenous testosterone therapy on choroid in androgen defic.ency

AIM:To investigate the effects of exogenous testosterone treatment on the choroidal parameters in patients with androgen ***:Right eyes of 24 patients with androgen defic.ency and 31 healthy volunteers were included in the *** eyes were scanned for subfoveal choroidal thickness(sFcT),choroidal vascularity index(cVI),choroidstromal area(c-sA),choroid-luminal area(c-LA),choroidstromal to luminal area ratio(csLR),and the choroidal parameters within central 1500μm of the macula(cVI1500,c-LA1500,c-sA1500,and csLR1500)by enhanced-depth imaging optical coherence tomography(EDI-OcT)at baseline,6th and 18th weeks of the exogenous testosterone ***:The mean sFcT values of the androgen defic.ent groups and healthy controls were 307.7±27.0 and 303.2±37.2μm(P=0.8).However,cVI,c-sA,csLR,cVI1500,c-LA1500,and csLR1500 were significantly different between the groups(all Psit after exogenous testosterone treatment,sFcT,cVI,c-LA,and c-sA were significantly decreased,and these parameters returned to baseline levels at the 18th-week visit(all P>0.05).However,cVI1500 and LA1500 significantly increased at the end of the follow-up period(PcONcLUsION:cVI is lower in androgen-defic.ent patients than in healthy *** alterations in the choroid during the testosterone peak are transient in the treatment of patients with androgen ***,the increase in cVI within the central 1500μm of the macula persists even after 4mo.

We apply the local method of fundamental solutions(LMFs)to boundary value problems(BVPs)for the Laplace and homogeneous biharmonic equations in *** appropriately choosing the collocation points,the LMFs discretization yields sparse block circulant system *** a result,matrix decomposition algorithms(MDAs)and fast Fourier transforms(FFTs)can be used for the solution of the systems resulting in considerable savings in both computational time and storage *** accuracy of the method and its ability to solve large scale problems are demonstrated by applying it to several numerical experiments.
