Due to the numerous variables to take into account as well as the inherent ambiguity and uncertainty,evaluating educational institutions can be *** concept of a possibility Pythagorean fuzzy hypersoft set(pPyFHss)is more flexible in this regard than other theoretical fuzzy set-like models,even though some attempts have been made in the literature to address such *** study investigates the elementary notions of pPyFHss including its set-theoretic operations union,intersection,complement,OR-and *** results related to these operations are also modified for ***,the similarity measures between pPyFHsss are formulated with the assistance of numerical examples and ***,an intelligent decision-assisted mechanism is developed with the proposal of a robust algorithm based on similarity measures for solving multi-attribute decision-making(MADM)problems.A case study that helps the decision-makers assess the best educational institution is discussed to validate the suggested *** algorithmic results are compared with the most pertinent model to evaluate the adaptability of pPyFHss,as it generalizes the classical possibility fuzzy set-like theoretical ***,while considering significant evaluating factors,the flexibility of pPyFHss is observed through structural comparison.

The dramatic rise in the number of people living in cities has made many environmental and social problems *** search for a productive method for disposing of solid waste is the most notable of these *** scholars have referred to it as a fuzzy multi-attribute or multi-criteria decision-making problem using various fuzzy set-like approaches because of the inclusion of criteria and anticipated *** goal of the current study is to use an innovative methodology to address the expected uncertainties in the problem of solid waste site *** characteristics(or sub-attributes)that decision-makers select and the degree of approximation they accept for various options can both be indicators of these *** tackle these problems,a novel mathematical structure known as the fuzzy parameterized possibility single valued neutrosophic hypersoft expert set(ρˆ-set),which is initially described,is integrated with a modified version of sanchez’s *** this,an intelligent algorithm is *** steps of the suggested algorithm are explained with an example that explains *** compatibility of solid waste management sites and systems is discussed,and rankings are established along with detailed justifications for their *** study’s strengths lie in its application of fuzzy parameterization and possibility grading to effectively handle the uncertainties embodied in the parameters’nature and alternative approximations,*** uses specific mathematical formulations to compute the fuzzy parameterized degrees and possibility grades that are missing from the prior *** is simpler for the decisionmakers to look at each option separately because the decision is *** the computed results,it is discovered that they are consistent and dependable because of their preferred properties.

Two artificial agents(a humanoid robot and a virtual human) are enriched with various similar intelligence,autonomy, functionalities and interaction modalities. The agents are integrated in the form of a cyber-physical-social system(CPss) through a shared communication platform to create a social ecology. In the ecology, the agents collaborate(assist each other) to perform a real-world task(search for a hidden object)for the benefits of humans. A robot-virtual human bilateral trust model is derived and a real-time trust measurement method is developed. The role of taking initiative in the collaboration is switched between the agents following a finite state machine model triggered by bilateral trust, which results in a mixedinitiative collaboration. A scheme is developed to evaluate the performance of the agents in the ecology through the *** results show that the robot and the virtual human perform satisfactorily in the collaboration through the CPss. The results thus prove the effectiveness of the real-world ecology between artificial agents of heterogeneous realities through a shared platform based on trust-triggered mixed-initiatives. The results can help develop adaptive social ecology comprising intelligent agents of heterogeneous realities to assist humans in various tasks through collaboration between the agents in the form of a CPss.

An extended J-integral for evaluating fluid-driven cracks in hydraulic fracturing

J-integral has served as a powerful tool in characterizing crack tip status. The main feature, i.e. path- independence, makes it one of the foremost fracture parameters. In order to remain the path- independence for fluid-driven cracks, J-integral is revised. In this paper, we present an extended J-in- tegral explicitly for fluid-driven cracks, e.g. hydraulically induced fractures in petroleum reservoirs, for three-dimensional （3D） problems. Particularly, point-wise 3D extended J-integral is proposed to char- acterize the state of a point along crack front. Besides, applications of the extended J-integral to porous media and thermally induced stress conditions are explored. Numerical results show that the extended J- integral is indeed path-independent, and they are in good agreement with those of equivalent domain integral under linear elastic and elastoplastic conditions. In addition, two distance-independent circular integrals in the K-dominance zone are established, which can be used to calculate the stress intensity factor （sIF）.

Microgrid has emerged as an answer to growing demand for distributed generation(DG) in power systems. It contains several DG units including microalternator, photovoltaic system and wind generation. It turns out that sustained operation relies on the stability of these constituent systems. In this paper, a microgrid consisting of microalternator and photovoltaic system is modeled as a networked control system of systems(so s)subjected to packet dropouts and delays. Next, an observerbased controller is designed to stabilize the system in presence of the aforementioned communication constraints and simulation results are provided to support the control design methodology.

In this paper,we theoretically investigate the existence and propagation of low amplitude nonlinear ion waves in a dense plasma under the influence of a strong magnetic *** plasma consists of ultra-relativistic and degenerate electrons and positrons and non-degenerate cold ***,the appearance of two distinct linear modes and their evolution is studied by deriving a dispersion equation with the aid of Fourier ***,the dynamics of low amplitude ion solitary structures is investigated via a Korteweg-de Vries equation derived by employing a reductive perturbation *** effects of various plasma parameters like positron concentration,strength of magnetic field,obliqueness of field,etc.,are discussed in *** the end,analytical results are supplemented through numerical analysis by using typical representative parameters consistent with degenerate and ultra-relativistic magnetoplasmas of astrophysical regimes.

Bridges are the most useful part in the transportation *** disruption of the bridge structures may hamper the whole transportation *** the last recent tsunamis,numerous number of bridges were structurally damaged by the tsunami *** of proper provisions of tsunami forces in the design guidelines also contributes to the augmentations of the damage ***,proper evaluation of the tsunami forces on the bridge girder should be introduced in the design *** this study,laboratory experiments were carried out to reveal the damage mechanism of the bridge girder by assessing the exerted tsunami *** broken and unbroken waves were considered for the *** results showed that measured forces were larger for broken waves than those of unbroken *** force of the broken waves was 4.59 times as large as the hydrostatic ***,waves reached the peak value more rapidly for larger wave heights than those of smaller ***,a girder that is placed at a higher position is much vulnerable to tsunami hazard.

Previous studies by the authors have determined pavement responses under dynamic loading consid- ering cross-anisotropy in one layer only, either the cross-anisotropic viscoelastic asphalt concrete （AC） layer or the cross-anisotropic stress-dependent base layer, but not both. This study evaluates pavement stress-strain responses considering cross-anisotropy in all layers, i.e. AC, base and subbase, using finite element modeling （FEM） technique. An instrumented pavement section on Interstate 1-40 near Albuquerque, New Mexico was used in ABAQus framework as model geometry. Field asphalt cores were collected and tested in the laboratory to determine the cross-anisotropy （n-values） defined by horizontal to vertical modulus ratio, and other viscoelastic parameters as inputs of the model incorporated through user defined material interface （uMAT） functionality in ABAQus. Field base and subbase materials were also collected and tested in the laboratory to determine stress-dependent nonlinear elastic model parameters, as inputs of the model, again incorporated through uMAT. The model validation task was carried out using field-measured deflections and strain values under falling weight deflectometer （FWD） loads at the instrumented section. The validated model was then subjected to an actual truck loading for studying cross-anisotropic effects. It was observed that horizontal tensile strain at the bottom of the AC layer and vertical strains in all layers decreased with an increase in n-value of the asphalt layer, from n （ 1 （anisotropy） to n - 1 （isotropy）. This indicates that the increase in horizontal modulus caused the decrease in layer strains. It was also observed that if the base and subbase layers were considered stressdependent instead of linear elastic unbound layers, the horizontal tensile strain at the bottom of the asphalt layer increased and vertical strains on top of the base and subbase also increased.
