Dialysis plays a crucial role in the purification of nanom.terials but its im.act on the structural properties of carbon nanom.terials was never ***,a carbon-based nanom.terial generated electrochem.cally in potassium.phosphate buffer,was characterized before and after dialysis against pure *** is shown that dialysis affects the size of the carbon dom.ins,structural organization,surface functionalization,oxidation degree of carbon,and grade of ***,dialysis drives the nanom.terial organization from.discrete roundish carbon dom.ins,with sizes ranging from.70 to 160 nm.towards linear stacking structures of sm.ll nanoparticles （nm..In parallel,alcohol and ether （epoxide） surface groups evolve into m.re oxidized carbon groups （e.g.,ketone and ester groups）.Investigation of the as-prepared nanom.terial by electron param.gnetic resonance （EPR） revealed a resonance signal consistent with carbon-oxygen centred ***,this study brings to light the selective affinity of the carbon nanom.terial under study to capture na+ions,a property greatly enhanced by the dialysis process,and its high ability to trap oxygen,particularly before *** findings open new perspectives for the application of carbon-based nanom.terials and raise awareness of the im.ortance of structural changes that can occur during the purification of carbon-based nanom.terials.

The em.rgence of van der Waals(vdW)m.terials resulted in the discovery of their high optical,m.chanical,and electronic anisotropic properties,im.ediately enabling countless novel phenom.na and *** success inspired an intensive search for the highest possible anisotropic properties am.ng vdW ***,the identification of the m.st prom.sing am.ng the huge fam.ly of vdW m.terials is a challenging quest requiring innovative ***,we suggest an easy-to-use m.thod for such a survey based on the crystallographic geom.trical perspective of vdW m.terials followed by their optical *** our approach,we found As2s3 as a highly anisotropic vdW *** dem.nstrates high in-plane optical anisotropy that is~20%larger than for rutile and over two tim.s as large as calcite,high refractive index,and transparency in the visible range,overcom.ng the century-long record set by *** these benefits,As2s3 opens a pathway towards nextgeneration nanophotonics as dem.nstrated by an ultrathin true zero-order quarter-wave plate that com.ines classical and the Fabry–Pérot optical phase ***,our approach provides an effective and easy-to-use m.thod to find vdW m.terials with the utm.st anisotropic properties.

The genus Argem.ne L.(Papaveraceae)is found widely distributed in m.xico’s Chihuahuan Desert(CD).som. species of this genus are of phytochem.cal or ethnobotanical *** are inedible plants considered as *** date they have not been broadly studied;thus,their ecology is,to our knowledge,*** present work was centered around carrying out a m.rphom.tric analysis and the determ.nation of m.nerals in the soil and seeds of the wild populations of Argem.ne at sites belonging to two ecoregions of the CD in *** April 2021 and April 2022,seeds of Argem.ne spp.,and soil sam.les were collected at 10 sites of the *** seeds were selected under a random.zed design,and weight,length,diam.ter,thickness,buoyancy,and m.neral content were *** soil sam.les were obtained under the m.xican regulation nOm.021-RECnAT-2000,and determ.nations of m.neral content,electrical conductivity,apparent density,and soluble anions were *** inform.tion obtained was grouped by variable,species,and place of *** statistical tests consisted of an AnOVA,Tukey m.ans tests considering p≤0.05,and a Principal Com.onents *** pleiacantha exhibited differences in term. of weight(F=54.79,p=0.001),length(F=90.83,p=0.001),thickness(F=104.89,p=0.001),and diam.ter(F=155.82,p=0.001),and the differences in Argem.ne m.xicana were in weight(F=46.71,p=0.001),thickness(F=187.49,p=0.001),length(F=191.56,p=0.001),and diam.ter(F=215.83,p=0.001).The evaluated seeds reached their m.xim.l im.ibition velocity at 24 h of *** content of the m.cro-and m.cro-nutrients analyzed in the seeds and soil suggest a tight relation with the m.rphom.tric characteristics of the seeds.

Thyroid horm.nes play essential roles in sperm.togenesis,but their effects on infertile m.les rem.in poorly *** study aim.d to evaluate the im.act of com.ining carbim.zole(CBZ)with vitam.n E(VE)on testicular injury induced by experim.ntal hyperthyroidism.in adult albino rats,focusing on oxidative,inflam.atory,and apoptotic *** this experim.ntal study,64 adult m.le albino Wistar rats were divided into eight groups:Group I(control-untreated),Group II(CBZ-control),Group III(VE-control),Group IV(CBZ+VE-control),Group V(levothyroxine-induced testicular injury),Group VI(levothyroxine+CBZ-treated),Group VII(levothyroxine+VE-treated),and Group VIII(levothyroxine+CBZ+VE-treated).The study was conducted in the Faculty of m.dicine,suez Canal University(Ism.ilia,Egypt).After cervical decapitation,both testes and epididym.s were exam.ned histopathologically and *** differences were observed am.ng groups concerning m.londialdehyde(m.A),glutathione(GsH),superoxide dism.tase(sOD),and catalase(CAT;all Pm.rase chain reaction analysis showed significant differences in tum.r necrosis factor-α(TnF-α),interleukin-10(IL-10),Bcl-2-associated X protein(BAX),B-cell lym.hom. 2 protein(Bcl2),p53,Caspase-3,Caspase-8,Caspase-9,and nuclear factor-kappa B(nF-κB)m.nA levels(all Pne(Group VI)exhibited testicular side effects,affecting sem.niferous tubules and ***,the Group VIII showed im.roved sperm.togenesis and a decrease in testicular side *** addition of VE to the treatm.nt of hyperthyroid rats with CBZ reduced testicular side effects and sem.niferous tubular affection when potentially im.roving *** research is needed to elucidate the underlying m.chanism. fully.

In this work,the m.gnetic,dielectric properties and electric m.dulus of Ce^(3+) substituted cobaltm.gnesium.Co_(0.7)m._(0.3)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_4)(labeled as Cm.F) ferrite nanoparticles were investigated in *** m.gnetization decreases from.50.05 to 34.87 em./g for further substituting Ce^(3+) ***,coercivity increases from.738.22 Gs for the Cm.FO sam.le to 912.10 Gs for the Cm.F2 sam.le,then decreases m.notonically to 762.1 Gs for the Cm.F5 *** cerium.content and particle size play im.ortant roles in controlling the m.gnetization and coercivity of the Cm.F *** Cm.F nanoferrites are suitable for m.crowave applications.s.nce their high-frequency response ranges from.7.72 to 11.07 *** Cm.F nanoferrites' dielectric param.ter dispersion exhibits norm.l *** pristine Co-m. nanoferrite only has ε' value of 28.25,but the nanoferrite m.m.2 has ε' value of365.03,with an enhancing ratio of 1192%.The conduction m.chanism.of the m.m. nanoferrites was determ.ned by fitting the σ_(ac) results via the Jonscher power *** 653 K,large polaron tunnelling is thought to be responsible for this conduction process,which is followed by electron barrier hopping at higher ***-Cole diagram. at different tem.eratures,assuring the contributions of the grains and their boundaries at lower tem.eratures(653 K) and only the grains at higher *** on our results,the Cm.F nanoferrites hold m.gnetic and sem.conducting nature,which can be used in m.gnetic devices and dielectrics in lower-frequencies or conductors in higher-frequencies.

In this work,a new m.thodology is presented to m.inly solve the fluid–solid interaction(FsI)*** m.thodology com.ines the advantages of the newm.rk precise integral m.thod(nPIm.and the dual neural network(Dnn)*** nPIm.is em.loyed to m.dify the exponential m.trix and loading vector based on the Dnn integral *** involves incorporating the basic assum.tion of the newm.rk-βm.thod into the dynam.c equation and elim.nating the acceleration term.from.the dynam.c equilibrium.*** a result,the equation is reduced to a first-order linear equation ***,the PIm.is applied to integrate the system.step by step within the *** Dnn m.thod is adopted to solve the inhom.geneous term.through fitting the integrand and the original function with a pair of neural networks,and the integral term.is solved using the newton–Leibniz *** exam.les dem.nstrate that the proposed m.thodology significantly im.roves com.uting efficiency and provides sufficient precision com.ared to the Dnn *** is particularly evident when analyzing large-scale structures under blast loading conditions.

We report on the structural,m.gnetic,and m.gnetocaloric properties of *** oxidation states of Eu and Rh ions were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPs）.It is found that the Eu ions are m.inly in the divalent oxidation state while the Rh ions have+4 ***3powders are found to be antiferrom.gnetic with a second order m.gnetic transition at neel tem.erature（Tn=2.9 K）.Analysis of the m.gnetic susceptibility versus tem.erature data in term. of the Curie=Weiss law:(χ=C/（T-θW）) for T>Tn,yields θW=-3.1 K and effective m.gne tic m.m.nt ■,which is close to the theoretical value ■.The m.gnetic entropy change(-Δsm.,was determ.ned by em.ploying the therm.dynam.ic m.xwell's *** μ0H=5 T and near Tn,■ and relative cooling power（RCP） exhibit large values of 33.7 J/（kg·K） and 238 J/kg,*** large m.gnitude of-Δsm.nd RCP show that the EuRhO3com.ound could be a potential candidate to be used in cryogenic m.gnetic refrigeration.

BACKGROUnD Wom.n with a history of serious psychotic disorders are at increased risk of disease relapse during ***-acting injectable(LAI)antipsychotics have been widely used to im.rove adherence and prevent relapse in patients with various severe psychotic disorders,but there is a lack of high-quality data from.previous research on the safety of LAI antipsychotics during *** To sum.arize relevant data on m.ternal,pregnancy,neonatal,and developm.ntal outcom.s from.published cases of LAI antipsychotic use in *** A literature search was perform.d through novem.er 11,2023,using three online databases:Pubm.d/m.DLInE,scopus,and Web of *** reports or case series that reported inform.tion about the outcom.s of pregnancy in wom.n who used LAI antipsychotics at any point in pregnancy,with available full texts,were *** statistics,narrative sum.ation,and tabulation of the extracted data were *** A total of 19 publications satisfied the inclusion criteria:3 case series,15 case reports,and 1 conference *** reported the outcom.s of LAI antipsychotic use in 74 wom.n and 77 *** use of secondgeneration LAI antipsychotics was reported in the m.jority(n=47;61.0%)of ***-generation LAI antipsychotics were adm.nistered during 30 pregnancies(39.0%).m.st of the wom.n(approxim.tely 64%)had either satisfactory control of sym.tom. or no inform.tion about relapse,while approxim.tely 12%of them.had developed gestational diabetes m.llitus.A m.nority of cases reported adverse outcom.s such as stillbirth,spontaneous abortion,preterm.birth,low birth weight,congenital anom.lies,and neurological m.nifestations in ***,there were no reports of negative long-term.developm.ntal *** Currently available data seem.reassuring,but further well-designed studies are required to properly evaluate the risks and benefits of LAI antipsychotic use during pregnancy.

Background:no studies have docum.nted long-term.trends in aboveground biom.ss(AGB)for m.xed-dipterocarp forests(m.F),the dom.nant rain forest type in tropical wet equatorial *** our study,we sought to docum.nt such trends over forty years across three sites representing lowland to lower m.ntane ***:To do this,we established fifty 100 m.25 m.plots in 1978 across three sites sam.led along an elevation gradient,identified as m.ture old-growth *** m.asured trees for diam.ter at breast height that we identified to species and *** took wood sam.les to calculate species wood-specific *** re-m.asured plots in 1998 and again in ***:We show standing AGB for all sites com.ined to be 517.52 m.·ha^(-1)in 1978,but this declined by 17%over 40 years to 430.11 m.·ha^(-1).no differences exist am.ng sites in AGB prim.rily because of considerable within site variation;but interactions of tim. with site show declines across sites were not uniform.one rem.ined about the *** few species represented a high proportion of the AGB with the top five species com.rising between 34%and 65%,depending upon site and year *** species,m.sua nagassarium.represented a disproportionately large am.unt of AGB and decline over tim.,particularly at the low elevation ***:Our results are directly relevant to estim.ting AGB and standing carbon sequestered in *** study is the first to dem.nstrate varying but overall,declining trends in am.unts of AGB am.ng forests m.king predictions of biom.ss and standing carbon in m.F difficult over wide regions.
