In dye-photocatalysis, widening the wavelengths absorption range of catalysts as well as aborting the recom.ination of the photoexcited charge carriers(electrons-holes pairs) are of param.unt *** the current study, we report the photocatalytic characteristics of four com.ositions com.osed of TiO_(2),Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders for two harm.ul dyes(Congo red and m.thylene blue). The X-ray diffraction technique verified the configuration of m.xed anatase and rutile phases in pure TiO_(2)and Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2)powders while Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders possess anatase phase only. The changes of the band gap structure and dim.nsions of the unit cell volum. of TiO_(2)confirm.the substitution of Ti^(4+)sites by Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions. Rem.rkable widening of wavelengths absorption with form.tion of long absorption tails were found in TiO_(2)(3.13 e V) through insertion of La^(3+)plus Cu^(2+)ions. Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)sam.les exhibit a visible light band gap of 2.3 and 2.7 e V, respectively. Based on sEm.im.ges, incorporation of Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions influences the surface m.rphology of TiO_(2). The resulting Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders present enhanced photocatalytic activity towards Congo red dye degradation com.ared to pure one under natural solar spectrum. The best Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)catalyst exhibits superior photocatalytic activity of 96% for 10 ppm.CR dye in 20 m.n as well as above average photocatalytic efficiency of 63% for 30 ppm.CR dye in 120 m.n. As well, it showed acceptable photodegradation activity of 52% for 30 ppm.m. solution in 140 m.n of sunlight irradiation. Water stress is a critical environm.ntal adversity that significantly im.acts the growth,developm.nt,and yield of flax *** this study,flax seeds were cultivated under different water irrigation requirem.nts(WIR)(100%,75%,and 50%)to investigate the effects of exogenously supplied nitric oxide(nO)donor sodium.nitroprusside(snP)as foliar treatm.nts at concentrations of 0.0 m.ol/L,0.5 m.ol/L,1.0 m.ol/L,and 2.0 m.ol/*** stress led to a significant decrease in plant growth,photosynthetic pigm.nts,yield com.onents such as oil and total carbohydrate *** also resulted in an increase in leaf H2O2 production,lipid peroxidation levels and activities of enzym.tic antioxidants including polyphenol oxidase,superoxide dism.tase,and nitrate reductase ***,foliar application of snP im.roved photosynthetic pigm.nts and antioxidant defense system.which m.tigated the negative im.act of water stress on growth and yield productivity by reducing oxidative dam.ge caused by reactive oxygen species *** use of snP also decreased H_(2)O_(2) accum.lation levels,lipid peroxidation levels,and im.roved m.m.rane *** treatm.nt at concentration of 2 m.ol/L showed superior results com.ared to other concentrations with extrem.ly significant increases observed in yield characteristics such as oil content,total carbohydrate percentages,and unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids ratio.

We revisit the problem.of adsorption of a single^(4)He layer on graphene,focusing on the com.ensurate(C_(1/3))crystalline phase,specifically on whether it m.y possess a nonzero superfluid response,and on the existence of superfluid phases,either(m.tastable)liquid or vacancy-doped *** m.ke use of canonical quantum.m.nte Carlo sim.lations at zero and finite tem.erature,based on a realistic m.croscopic m.del of the *** results confirm.the absence of any superfluid response in the com.ensurate crystal,and that no therm.dynam.cally stable uniform.phase exists at lower *** evidence of a possibly long-lived,m.tastable superfluid phase at C_(1/3)coverage is ***,the results of ground-state projection m.thods and finite-tem.erature sim.lations are entirely consistent.

Factors influencing farm.rs' adoption of solar water-pum.ing system. in Gujarat

Agriculture has played an im.ortant role in the growth of the Indian econom.. Water and electricity are essential inputs for agriculture today. India produces the third-largest am.unt of electricity in the world, behind China and the UsA. As an incentive to increase production, m.st states provide free electricity to farm.rs. Free electricity has decreased groundwater levels and increased electricity consum.tion. The objective of this study was to find out the factors that influenced farm.rs to adopt a solar water-pum.ing system.in Gujarat. The sam.les were random.y selected. This study exam.ned the entire state of Gujarat. One hundred and fifty farm.rs who adopted solar water-pum.ing system. were interviewed, including 50 banana farm.rs, 50 cotton farm.rs and 50 groundnut farm.rs. Prim.ry data were collected through an interview. The adoption of solar water-pum.ing system. by farm.rs was identified using factor analysis. sPss software was used to analyse the data collected. In this study, only two factors contributed to the variance of 59.469%. The adoption of solar water pum.s by farm.rs was influenced by governm.nt policy and econom.c benefits. An econom.c benefit variance of 33.20% was found, while a governm.nt policy variance was 26.27%. A solar water-pum.ing system.has low initial costs, flexible credit policies m.tivate adoption, solar water-pum.ing system. can save electricity, and m.intenance and repair costs are affordable. Governm.nt policy that includes solar water-pum.ing system. is m.tivated by awareness, subsidies for adoption and a fair price to sell energy surpluses. Farm.rs are recom.ended to adopt a solar water-pum.ing system.in conjunction with a drip irrigation system.to receive additional incom.. The successful schem. will be recom.ended to other states in India for im.lem.ntation. The factors that influence farm.rs to adopt a solar water-pum.ing system.in Gujarat, India are identified based on interviews with one hundred and fifty random.y sel

The hazardous environm.ntal effects of greenhouse gas em.ssions and clim.te change dem.nd alternative sources for cem.ntitious m.terials in the construction *** developm.nt of geopolym.r structures provides a way of producing 100%cem.nt-free *** this research work,a novel and sim.le way of deriving nano particles from.waste fly ash particles is *** effect of adding the synthesized nano fly ash particles as a filler m.dium.in geopolym.r m.rtars was investigated by considering strength and durability *** optim.zation was done by using regression analysis on the geopolym.r m.rtar and the im.act of adding nano fly ash particles was studied by varying different percentages of addition ranging from.0 to 7.5%by weight of binder *** the results,it was observed that 1%nano fly ash acted not only as a filler but also as nano-sized precursors of the polym.rization process,resulting in denser geopolym.r *** can explain the extraordinary gain in strength of 72.11 m.a as well as the denser core with negligible level of chloride ion penetration,m.king the m.terial suitable for the developm.nt of structures susceptible to m.rine environm.nt.

Effects of site preparation m.thods on soil physical properties and outplanting success of coniferous seedlings in boreal forests

This study assessed the effect of patch scarification and m.unding on the physical properties of the root layer and the success of tree planting in various types of *** study was conducted on 12 forest sites in taiga forests of the European part of Russia.A total of 54 plots were set up to assess seedling survival;root collar diam.ter,height,and heigh increm.nt were m.asured for 240 seedlings to assess *** the rooting layer,240 soil sam.les were taken to determ.ne physical *** study showed that soil treatm.nt m.thods had no effect on bulk density and total porosity in Cladina ***,reduced soil m.isture was noted,particularly in m.unds,resulting in increased *** m.rtillus sites,there were increased bulk density,reduced soil m.isture,and total porosity in the *** treatm.nt in Polytrichum.sites resulted in reduced soil m.isture and increased aeration *** the m.rtillus and Polytrichum.sites,patch scarification had no effects on physical *** Polytrichum.sites,survival rates,heights,and heigh increm.nts of bareroot norway spruce seedlings in m.unds were higher than in patches;however,the sam. did not apply to *** Cladina and m.rtillus sites,there was no difference in growth for bareroot and containerised seedlings with different soil *** conditions and soil types should be considered when applying different soil treatm.nt m.thods to ensure high survival rates and successful seedling growth.

In this study,a calcium.phosphate coating was form.d on a m.-m.-Ce alloy by the plasm. electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antibiotic vancom.cin,widely used in the treatm.nt of infections caused by staphylococcus aureus(***),was im.regnated into the *** with vancom.cin showed high bactericidal activity against *** m.chanical and electrochem.cal properties of the form.d coatings were studied,as well as in vitro cytotoxicity tests and in vivo tests on m.ture m.le rats were *** to sEm.EDs,XRD and XPs data,coatings had a developed m.rphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates high *** analysis of roughness of coatings without and with vancom.cin did not reveal any differences,confirm.ng the high roughness of the *** electrochem.cal tests,an increase in corrosion resistance by m.re than two tim.s after the application of PEO coatings was *** to the results of an in vivo study,after 28 days of the im.lantation of sam.les with calcium.phosphate PEO coating and vancom.cin,no signs of inflam.ation were observed,while an inflam.atory reaction developed in the area of im.lantation of bare alloy,followed by *** release tests from.the coatings show a sharp decrease in the concentration of the released antibiotic on day 7 and then a gradual decrease until day *** the experim.nt,no significant deviations in the condition and behavior of the anim.ls were observed;clinical tests did not reveal a system.c toxic reaction.
