The lum.nescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lam. constitutes 2%of the lam.’s *** can be m.ntioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw m.terial to produce rare earth *** the present study,m.crowave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elem.nts yttrium.Y),europium.Eu),and rem.ining rare earth elem.nts(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent *** the yields were *** the m.crowave leaching process,the effects of the tem.erature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HnO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)sO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 m.l/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction tim.(5-90 m.n)param.ters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elem.nts and calcium.were *** highest yield was obtained in the direct m.crowave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experim.ntal conditions of 6 m.l/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(s:L),and 90 *** energy calculations were m.de,and kinetic m.dels of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that Y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum.La),cerium.Ce),and terbium.Tb)were exam.ned to be chem.cal reaction ***,calcium.Ca)and gadolinium.Gd)seem.coherent with the m.xed ***,m.them.tical m.dels of all experim.ntal studies are created with the response surface Box-Behnken m.thod and the correlation coefficients of all the m.dels are over 90%.

Fuel cell stack design and m.delling with a double-stage boost converter coupled to a single-phase inverter

A com.rehensive proton-exchange m.m.rane fuel cell stack m.del was developed and integrated with a two-stage DC/DC boost converter. It was directly coupled to a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter without a transform.r. The pulse-width m.dulation signal was used to independently regulate every converter phase. The converter was m.delled using a m.TLAB (R)/sim.link (R) environm.nt and an appropriate voltage control m.thod. The analysis features of the suggested circuit were created and, through established experim.nts, the sim.lation results were verified. A single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter control circuit was tested and it produced a pure sinusoidal waveform.with voltage control. It m.tches the voltage of the network in term. of am.litude and frequency. A sinusoidal pulse-width m.dulation approach was perform.d using a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) pulse-width m.dulation inverter. The results dem.nstrated an enhancem.nt in the standard of the output wave and tuned the dead tim. with a reduction of 63 m. s com.ared with 180 m. s in conventional techniques. A com.rehensive m.del of a proton-exchange m.m.rane fuel cell stack is integrated with a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter without a transform.r. Pulse-width m.dulation is used to independently regulate every converter phase. As a result, the dead tim. is reduced com.ared to conventional techniques. Graphical Abstract

We investigated ^(50,52-54)Cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy elem.nt in the 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)Cr projectiles were com.ared with those obtained in prior *** estim.ted cross sections from.this analysis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 m.V for ^(53)Cr+^(243)Am.23.2 fb at 236 m.V for ^(54)Cr+^(247)Cm.95.6 fb at 240 m.V for ^(53)Cr+248Bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 m.V for ^(53)Cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and beam.energy will be useful in future Cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.

Tuning structural,electrical,dielectric and m.gnetic properties of m.-Cu-Co ferrites via dysprosium.Dy^(3+))doping

In current research work,Dy3+substituted m.0.5Cu0.25Co0.25Fe2-xDyxO4(0.0≤x≤0.04 with the step interval of 0.01)soft ferrites were synthesized by the sol-gel auto com.ustion *** prepared sam.les were characterized by the techniques using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron m.croscopy(sEm.,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDs),Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,curre nt-voltage(Ⅰ-Ⅴ)m.asurem.nt,LCR m.ter,vibrating sam.le m.gnetom.ter(Vsm.and *** data reveal that the average crystallite size is 49.71 nm.and the lattice constant is 0.83703 nm.for sam.le x=*** non-uniform.grain growth was dem.nstrated by m.crographs and im.urity-free elem.ntal com.osition was observed from.EDX *** DC resistivity has an increasing and decreasing trend in ferrom.gnetic and param.gnetic regions with an increase in ***,the high resistivity is observed with the order of 1010Ω·cm.and the activation energy is 0.944 eV for sam.les x=*** dielectric param.ters including dielectric constant,dielectric losses,and im.edance gradually decrease with the increase in frequency from.8 Hz to 8 *** m.nim.m.dielectric loss at high frequency is found for sam.le x=*** coercivity(Hc)and saturation m.gnetization(m.)are found in the ranges of 520.82-544.02 Oe and 20.5841-21.1473 em./g,*** observations confirm.that dysprosium.x=0.03)doped m.C-soft ferrites m.y be applicable in transform.r cores,m.crowave absorbance,and telecom.unication devices.

In addition to their visible m.tion such as swim.ing(e.g.,with the help ofﬂagella),bacteria can also exhibit nanom.tion that is detectable only with highly sensitive instrum.nts,and this study shows that it is possible to detect bacterial nanom.tion using an AFm.detection *** results show that the nanom.tion characteristics depend on the bacterial strain,and that nanom.tion can be used to sense the m.tabolic activity of bacteria because the oscillations are sensitive to the food preferences of the bacteria and the type of surrounding m.dium.

We study radiative p^(15)n capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the fram.work of a m.dified potential cluster m.del(m.Cm.with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)n(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)s_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)n channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)m. *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy s-factor,and the extrapolated s(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** im.ortant role of the asym.totic constant(AC)for the ^(15)n(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A com.arison of our calculation for the s-factor with existing experim.ntal and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreem.nt is *** reaction rate is calculated and com.ared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong im.act of the interference of ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CnO Gam.w windows,especially at low *** estim.te the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experim.ntal data from.***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancem.nt due to the cascade transitions is observed from.T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the m.xim.m.factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gam.w energy window and a com.arison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)n(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)n(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)n(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)n(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the fram.work of the m.Cm.and provide the tem.erature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

Tilted global solar irradiance in Bahrain: an experim.ntal study

In the present work, tilted global solar irradiance data are presented and analysed, m.asured for a period of 1 year on the cam.us of Bahrain Polytechnic, Kingdom.of Bahrain, from.both a fixed photovoltaic panel and a m.ving one via a two-axis solar tracker. The fixed panel faces south with an angle of 26 degrees with respect to the horizontal, coinciding with the local geographical latitude. The second panel is m.ved by two m.tors, controlled by a global positioning system.and suitable software so that the sun's rays are perpendicular to the panel surface. A pyranom.ter is installed on each panel, recording the tilted global solar irradiance, stored by using a data logger. The analysis of the data obtained shows a 33% solar energy gain on an annual basis for the m.ving panel (2780 versus 2088 kWh/m. on the fixed panel). m.re im.ortantly, in June, when the energy dem.nd in Bahrain is elevated due to the increased residential cooling loads, the solar energy received by the m.ving panel is 54.7% higher com.ared with that of the fixed panel. On a percentage basis, the increase in solar energy from.the m.ving panel is profound in the early m.rning and late evening hours. m.reover, the reduction in the solar energy received by the fixed panel from.m.y to June does not appear in the m.ving panel because of the adjustable orientation of the latter. Throughout the year, the m.an daily solar power varies between 0.37 and 0.56 kW/m. for the fixed panel, and 0.45 and 0.70 kW/m. for the m.ving panel. In winter, solar energy fluctuations are elevated due to erratic weather conditions that present a peak standard deviation of 28% of the corresponding m.an. The data presented are useful for potential solar investm.nts in Gulf countries. Tilted global solar irradiance data are m.asured and analysed for a period of 1 year on the cam.us of Bahrain Polytechnic, Kingdom.of Bahrain, from.both a fixed photovoltaic panel and a m.ving one via a two-axis solar tracker. spinel cubic ferrites have huge applications in m. m.ry and high frequency *** the im.rovem.nt of these m.dern devices,the m.gnetic coercivity,perm.ability,and dielectric properties of a ferrite are the im.ortant *** article focuses on im.roving the m.gnetic coercivity,m.gnetic perm.ability,and dielectric properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ferrites,where x=0.00,0.06,and *** X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy(FEsEm.,energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),vibrating sam.le m.gnetom.ter(Vsm.,and an im.edance analyzer were used to characterize the structural,m.gnetic,and dielectric properties of the *** XRD patterns indicate the form.tion of spinel cubic structure of the sam.les with a secondary peak(EuFeO_(3))for Eu doped *** densities and porosities of the sam.les follow an inverse trend,where the doped sam.les’lattice param.ters are increased with the increm.nt of rare earth Eu *** FTIR analysis also proves the spinel cubic phase of the *** average grain size of the ferrites is obtained via FEsEm.im.ges,and it is increased from.121 to 198 *** analysis confirm. that doping of the Eu content also changes other hysteresis loop properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ***,the coercivity of the Eu doped sam.les is greater than that of the m.ther alloy(x=0.00).The EDX study shows that there is no im.urity contam.nation in the *** perm.ability and dielectric m.asurem.nts show an im.roved quality factor of the Eu-doped sam.les with low m.gnetic and dielectric *** dependent resistivity and im.edance analysis also show the im.roved *** the observed properties of the sam.les,all the investigated ferrites m.ght be strong candidates for potential applications in m.m.ry devices,m.gnetic sensors,and high frequency applications.

Ion heat transport in electron cyclotron resonance heated L-m.de plasm. on the T-10 tokam.k

Anom.lous ion heat transport is analyzed in the T-10 tokam.k plasm. heated with electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH) in second-harm.nic extra-ordinary m.de. Predictive m.deling with em.irical scaling for Ohm.cal heat conductivity shows that in ECRH plasm.s the calculated ion tem.erature could be overestim.ted, so an increase of anom.lous ion heat transport is required. To study this effect two scans are presented: over the EC resonance position and over the ECRH power. The EC resonance position varies from.the high-field side to the low-field side by variation of the toroidal m.gnetic field. The scan over the heating power is presented with on-axis and m.xed ECRH regim.s. Discharges with high anom.lous ion heat transport are obtained in all considered regim.s. In these discharges the power balance ion heat conductivity exceeds the neoclassical level by up to 10 tim.s. The high ion heat transport regim.s are distinguished by three param.ters: the ratio Te/Ti, the norm.lized electron density gradient R/■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The com.ination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and R/■=6-10 results in values of norm.lized anom.lous ion heat fluxes up to 10 tim.s higher than in the low transport scenario.
