This study employs a hybrid approach,integrating finite element method(FEM)simulations with machine learning(ML)techniques to investigate the structural performance of double-skin tubular columns(DsTCs)reinforced with glass fiber-reinforced polymer(GFRP).The investigation involves a comprehensive examination of critical parameters,including aspect ratio,concrete strength,number of GFRP confinement layers,and dimensions of steel tubes used in DsTCs,through comparative analyses and parametric *** ensure the credibility of the findings,the results are rigorously validated against experimental data,establishing the precision and trustworthiness of the *** present research work examines the use of the columns with elliptical cross-sections and contributes valuable insights into the application of FEM and ML in the design and evaluation of structural systems within the field of structural engineering.

Objective:To evaluate the in vitro and in vivo efficacy of quercetin and its immunomodulatory and anti-oxidative activity against Leishmania major(***).Methods:*** promastigotes and amastigotes were incubated with different concentrations of quercetin to estimate EC_(50).For in vivo study,the base of tails of mice was infected with *** developing ulcers in the inoculation site,mice were treated with 50 mg/kg quercetin orally for 28 consecutive *** wound-healing potential of quercetin was evaluated by histopathological analysis of tissue sections stained by hematoxylin and eosin as well as Masson's *** addition,the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6,malondialdehyde,and adiponectin,the ferric reducing ability of plasma,as well as superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase activities were ***:The EC_(50)values of quercetin against *** promastigotes and intracellular amastigotes were 0.27 and 0.85μM,*** analysis showed that fewer inflammatory cells,more fibroblasts,and more collagen deposition were observed in tissue sections of quercetin-treated *** addition,treatment with quercetin markedly increased glutathione peroxidase activity,the ferric reducing ability of plasma and adiponectin levels while decreasing malondialdehyde,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α***:Quercetin shows anti-leishmanial activity,immunomodulatory,anti-oxidative,and anti-inflammatory ***,it may be further explored as an effective drug in treating leishmaniasis.

Risk calculators have offered a viable tool for clinicians to stratify patients at risk of prostate cancer(PCa)and to mitigate the low sensitivity and specificity of screening prostate specific antigen(PsA).While initially based on clinical and demographic data,incorporation of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and the validated prostate imaging reporting and data system suspicion scoring system has standardized and improved risk stratification beyond the use of PsA and patient parameters ***-naïve patients with lower risk profiles for harboring clinically significant PCa are often subjected to uncomfortable,invasive,and potentially unnecessary prostate biopsy *** risk calculator data into prostate MRI reports can broaden the role of radiologists,improve communication with clinicians primarily managing these patients,and help guide clinical care in directing the screening,detection,and risk stratification of PCa.

The objective of the present investigation is to predict the nonlinear buckling and postbuckling characteristics of cylindrical shear deformable nanoshells with and without initial imperfection under hydrostatic pressure load in the presence of surface free energy *** this end, Gurtin-Murdoch elasticity theory is implemented into the irst-order shear deformation shell theory to develop a size-dependent shell model which has an excellent capability to take surface free energy effects into account. A linear variation through the shell thickness is assumed for the normal stress component of the bulk to satisfy the equilibrium conditions on the surfaces of nanoshell. On the basis of variational approach and using von Karman-Donnell-type of kinematic nonlinearity, the non-classical governing differential equations are derived. Then a boundary layer theory of shell buckling is employed incorporating the effects of surface free energy in conjunction with nonlinear prebuckling deformations, large delections in the postbuckling domain and initial geometric imperfection. Finally, an eficient solution methodology based on a two-stepped singular perturbation technique is put into use in order to obtain the critical buckling loads and postbuckling equilibrium paths corresponding to various geometric parameters. It is demonstrated that the surface free energy effects cause increases in both the critical buckling pressure and critical end-shortening of a nanoshell made of silicon.

BACKGROUND: According to the fact that women account for the highest rate of victims of mental health loss during disasters, prioritization of their requirements is of remarkable signifi cance. Therefore, the present study was carried out with the aim to prioritize factors related to women's mental health during an earthquake. METHODs: This study was conducted using the Delphi method in 2017. Participants consisted of experts including psychologists, counselors and psychiatrists, social medicine specialists, and psychiatric-mental health nurses with experience in service and disaster awareness, especially earthquake. They were selected using purposive and snowball sampling methods. The Delphi method was used in 2 rounds with 21 components and the fi nal attendance of 19 participants and the collective agreement of 75%. REsULTs: Of the 21 factors related to women's mental health during the earthquake, the following components were, respectively, preferred by the participants: psychological well-being training, group relationships and support of women in emergency situations, fair treatment in the provision of rights and services to women, crisis awareness and management of behavior and diffi cult conditions, and social security during disasters with the total mean standard deviation (sD) of 13.4 (2.4), 13.0 (2.4), 12.7 (2.5), 12.5 (2.4), and 12.3 (2.2), respectively. CONCLUsION: Training in the fi eld of psychology and disasters, and social and cultural factors were prioritized among factors related to women's mental health during an earthquake. Therefore, the results of this study can be applied by the planners and executives of mental health, women and disasters, and the women's community itself.

Having a formal model of neural networks can greatly help in understanding and verifying their properties,behavior,and response to external factors such as disease and *** this paper,we adopt a formal model to represent neurons,some neuronal graphs,and their *** specific neuronal graphs are known for having biologically relevant structures and behaviors and we call them *** archetypes are supposed to be the basis of typical instances of neuronal information *** this paper we study six fundamental archetypes(simple series,series with multiple outputs,parallel composition,negative loop,inhibition of a behavior,and contralateral inhibition),and we consider two ways to couple two archetypes:(i)connecting the output(s)of the first archetype to the input(s)of the second archetype and(ii)nesting the first archetype within the second *** report and compare two key approaches to the formal modeling and verification of the proposed neuronal archetypes and some selected *** first approach exploits the synchronous programming language Lustre to encode archetypes and their couplings,and to express properties concerning their dynamic *** properties are verified thanks to the use of model *** second approach relies on a theorem prover,the Coq Proof Assistant,to prove dynamic properties of neurons and archetypes.

In this study, it is attempted to give an insight into the injection processability of three self-prepared polymers from A to Z. This work presents material analysis, injection molding simulation, design of ex- periments alongside considering all interaction effects of controlling parameters carefully for green biodegradable polymeric systems, including polylactic acid （PLA）, polylactic acid-thermoplastic poly- urethane （PLA-TPU） and polylactic acid-thermoplastic starch （PLA-TPs）. The experiments were carried out using injection molding simulation software Autodesk Moldflov~~ in order to minimize warpage and volumetric shrinkage for each of the mentioned systems. The analysis was conducted by changing five significant processing parameters, including coolant temperature, packing time, packing pressure, mold temperature and melt temperature. Taguchi＇s [.27 （35） orthogonal array was selected as an efficient method for design of simulations in order to consider the interaction effects of the parameters and reduce spu- rious simulations. Meanwhile, artificial neural network （ANN） was also used for pattern recognition and optimization through modifying the processing conditions. The Taguchi coupled analysis of variance （ANOVA） and ANN analysis resulted in definition of optimum levels for each factor by two completely different methods. According to the results, melting temperature, coolant temperature and packing time had significant influence on the shrinkage and warpage. The ANN optimal level selection for minimiza- tion of shrinkage and/or warpage is in good agreement with ANOVA optimal level selection results. This investigation indicates that PLA-TPU compound exhibits the highest resistance to warpage and shrink- age defects compared to the other studied compounds.
