This paper constructs a coupled aero-hydro-elastic-servo simulation framework for a monopile offshore wind turbine(OWT).In this framework,a detailed multi-body dynamics model of the monopile OWT including the gearbox,blades,tower and other components(nacelle,hub,bedplate,etc.)has been explicitly *** effects of pile−soil interaction,controller and operational conditions on the turbine dynamic responses are studied systematically in time domain and frequency *** results show that(1)a comprehensive drivetrain model has the capability to provide a more precise representation of the complex dynamic characteristics exhibited by drivetrain components,which can be used as the basis for further study on the dynamic characteristics of the drivetrain.(2)The pile−soil interaction can influence the wind turbine dynamic responses,particularly under the parked condition.(3)The effect of the pile−soil interaction on tower responses is more significant than that on blade responses.(4)The use of the controller can substantially affect the rotor characteristics,which in turn influences the turbine dynamic responses.(5)The tower and blade displacements under the operational condition are much larger than those under the parked *** model and methodology presented in this study demonstrate potential for examining complex dynamic behaviors of the monopile *** ensure accuracy and precision,it is imperative to construct a detailed model of the wind turbine system,while also taking into account simulation efficiency.

Thermal boundary conditions of the turbine disk cavity system are of great importance in the design of secondary air systems in *** study aims to investigate the complex heat transfer mechanisms of a rotating turbine disk under high-speed conditions.A high-speed rotating free-disk model with Dorfman empirical solutions is developed to evaluate the heat transfer performance considering various ***,the influence of compressibility,variable properties,and heat dissipation is determined us.ng theoretical and numerical *** particular,a novel combined solution method is proposed to simplify the complex heat transfer *** results indicate that the heat transfer performance of a free disk is primarily influenced by the rotating Mach number,rotating Reynolds number,Rossby number,and wall temperature *** heat transfer temperature and Nusselt number of the free disk are strongly correlated with the rotating Mach number and rotating Reynolds *** reveals that heat dissipation is a critical factor affecting the accurate evaluation of the heat transfer performance of the turbine ***,the combined solution method can serve as a reference for future investigations of flow and heat transfer in high-speed rotating turbine disk cavity systems in aero-engines.

Robots with transformable tracked mechanisms are widely used in complex terrains because of their high adaptability,and many studies on novel locomotion mechanisms have been conducted to make them able to climb higher *** underactuated transformable mechanisms for tracked robots could decrease the number of actuators used while maintaining the flexibility and obstacle-cross.ng capability of these robots,and increas.ng their cost ***,the underactuated tracked robots have appreciable research *** this paper,a novel tracked robot with a newly proposed underactuated revolute‒revolute‒prismatic(RRP)transformable mechanism,which is inspired by the sit-up actions of humans,was *** newly proposed tracked robot has only two actuators installed on the track pulleys for moving and does not need extra actuators for ***,it could concentrate the track belt’s tension toward one side,and the unbalanced tension would drive the linkage mechanisms to change its *** this method,the proposed underactuated design could change its external shape to create support points with the terrain and move its center of mass actively at the same time while climbing obstacles or cross.ng other kinds of terrains,thus greatly improving the climbing capability of the *** geometry and kinematic relationships of the robot and the cross.ng strategies for three kinds of typical obstacles are *** the basis of such cross.ng motions,the parameters of links in the robot are designed to make sure the robot has sufficient stability while climbing ***-cross.ng dynamic simulations were run and analyzed to prove the feasibility of the robot.A prototype was built and *** show that the proposed robot could climb platforms with heights up to 33.3%of the robot’s length or cross gaps with widths up to 43.5%of the robot’s length.
