Enhancing Fire Detection Performance Based on Fine-Tuned YOLOv10

In recent years,early detection and warning of fires have posed a significant challenge to environmental protection and human *** learning models such as Faster R-Cnn(Faster Region based Convolutional neural network),YOLO(You Only Look Once),and their variants have demonstrated superiority in quickly detecting objects from images and videos,creating new opportunities to enhance automatic and efficient fire *** YOLO model,especially newer versions like YOLOv10,stands out for its fast process.ng capability,making it suitable for low-latency ***,when applied to real-world datasets,the accuracy of fire prediction is still not *** study improves the accuracy of YOLOv10 for real-time applications through model fine-tuning techniques and data *** core work of the research involves creating a diverse fire image dataset specifically suited for fire detection applications in buildings and factories,freezing the initial layers of the model to retain general features learned from the dataset by applying the squeeze and Excitation attention mechanism and employing the stochastic Gradient Descent(sGD)with a momentum optimization algorithm to enhance accuracy while ensuring real-time fire *** results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed fire prediction approach,where the YOLOv10 small model exhibits the best balance compared to other YOLO family models such as.nano,medium,and ***,the study provides an experimental evaluation to highlight the effectiveness of model fine-tuning compared to the YOLOv10 baseline,YOLOv8 and Faster R-Cnn based on two criteria:accuracy and prediction time.

This study pres.nts the Chebyshev polynomials-based Ritz method to examine the thermal buckling and free vibration characteristics of metal foam *** analyses include three models for porosity distribution and two scenarios for thermal *** material properties are assessed under two conditions,i.e.,temperature dependence and temperature *** theoretical framework for the beams is based on the higher-order shear deformation theory,which incorporates shear deformations with higher-order *** governing equations are established from the Lagrange equations,and the beam displacement fields are approximated by the Chebyshev *** simulations are performed to evaluate the effects of thermal load,slenderness,boundary condition(BC),and porosity distribution on the buckling and vibration behaviors of metal foam *** findings highlight the significant influence of temperature-dependent(TD)material properties on metal foam beams'buckling and vibration responses.

Prevalence and outcomes of neonates with severe COVID-19:An observational study at Children’s Hospital 1 in Ho Chi Minh City,Vietnam

Objective:To evaluate the impact of the severe COVID-19 pandemic on neonates and develop strategies to improve their ***:We conducted an observational cross-sectional study at Children's Hospital 1(CH1)from July 25,2021,to May 31,*** neonates who had fever or respiratory symptoms or were born from mothers with COVID-19 and had a positive RT-PCR sARs-CoV-2 result would be *** classified neonates with COVID-19 into 2 groups:mild/moderate and severe for *** between groups were analyzed us.ng Fisher's exact test/Chi-square test for categorical variables and student's t-test/Wilcoxon Rank sum test for continuous ***:This study included 88 newborns who had positive RT-PCR sARs-CoV-2 *** severity COVID-19 rate among neonatal cases was found to be 13.6%(12/88),with a corresponding mortality rate of 1.1%(1/88).All severe cases showed lung abnormalities as evident on chest X-ray *** addition to respiratory symptoms,a higher incidence of gastrointestinal manifestations,such as vomiting and diarrhea,was observed in the severe group,indicating a compelling *** administration of anticoagulant and anti-inflammatory drugs in the study group resulted in a satisfactory outcome with no significant ***:The COVID-19 pandemic has had a substantial impact on the well-being of *** management of COVID-19 in this population pres.nts significant challenges.

We report on the s.nthesis of sn-doped hematite nanoparticles(sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs)by the hydrothermal *** prepared sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs had a highly pure and well crystalline rhombohedral phase with an average particle size of 41.4 *** optical properties of as-s.nthesizedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs show a higher bandgap energy(2.40-2.57 eV)than that of pure bulkα-Fe_(2)O_(3)(2.1 eV).By doping sn intoα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs,the sn-doped hematite was observed a redshift toward a long wavelength with in-creas.ng sn concentration from 0%to 4.0%.The photocatalytic activity of sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs was evaluated by Congo red(CR)dye *** degradation efficiency of CR dye us.ng sn-α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs catalyst is higher than that of pureα-Fe_(2)O_(3) *** highest degradation efficiency of CR dye was 97.8%us.ng 2.5%sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nPs catalyst under visible-light *** results suggest that the s.nthesized sn-dopedα-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles might be a suitable approach to develop a photocatalytic degradation of toxic inorganic dye in wastewater.

This paper pres.nts a new approach us.ng correlation and cross-correlation coefficients to evaluate the stiffness degradation of beams under moving *** theoretical study of identifying defects by vibration methods showed that the traditional methods derived from the vibration measurement data have not met the needs of the actual *** show that the correlation coefficients allow us to evaluate the degree and the effectiveness of the defects on *** the same time,the cross-correlation model is the basis for determining the relative position of *** results of this study are experimentally conducted to confirm the relationship between the correlation coefficients and the existence of the *** particular,the manuscript shows that the s.nsitivity of the correlation coefficients and cross-correlation is much higher than the parameters such as changes in stiffness(EJ)and natural frequency values(Δf).This study suggests us.ng the above parameters to evaluate the stiffness degradation of beams by vibration measurement data in practice.

Moving Least squares Interpolation Based A-Posteriori Error Technique in Finite Element Elastic Analysis

The performance of a-posteriori error methodology based on moving least squares(MLs)interpolation is explored in this paper by varying the finite element error recovery parameters.namely recovery points and field variable derivatives *** MLs interpolation based recovery technique uses the weighted least squares method on top of the finite element method’s field variable derivatives solution to build a continuous field variable derivatives *** boundary of the node support(mesh free patch of influenced nodes within a determined distance)is taken as circular,i.e.,circular support domain constructed us.ng radial weights is *** field variable derivatives(stress and strains)are recovered at two kinds of points in the support domain,i.e.,Gauss points(super-convergent stress locations)and nodal *** errors are computed as the difference between the stress from the finite element results and projected stress from the post-processed energy norm at both elemental and global *** benchmark numerical tests us.ng quadrilateral and triangular meshes measure the finite element errors in strain and stress *** numerical examples showed the support domain-based recovery technique’s capabilities for effective and efficient error estimation in the finite element analysis of elastic *** MLs interpolation based recovery technique performs better for stress extraction at Gauss points with the quadrilateral discretization of the problem *** is also shown that the behavior of the MLs interpolation based a-posteriori error technique in stress extraction is comparable to classical Zienkiewicz-Zhu(ZZ)a-posteriori error technique.

Effective plant discrimination based on the combination of local binary pattern operators and multiclass support vector machine methods

Accurate crop and weed discrimination plays a critical role in address.ng the challenges of weed management in *** use of herbicides is currently the most common approach to weed ***,herbicide resistant plants have long been recognised as a major concern due to the excessive use of *** weed detection techniques can reduce the cost of weed management and improve crop quality and yield.A computationally efficient and robust plant classification algorithm is developed and applied to the classification of three crops:Brassica napus(canola),Zea mays(maize/corn),and *** developed algorithm is based on the combination of Local Binary Pattern(LBP)operators,for the extraction of crop leaf textural features and support vector machine(sVM)method,for multiclass plant *** paper pres.nts the first investigation of the accuracy of the combined LBP algorithms,trained us.ng a large dataset of canola,radish and barley leaf images captured by a testing facility under simulated field *** dataset has four subclasses,background,canola,corn,and radish,with 24,000 images used for training and 6000 images,for *** dataset is referred herein as "bccr-segset"and published *** each subclass,plant images are collected at four crop growth ***,the algorithm demonstrates plant classification accuracy as high as 91.85%,for the four classes.

Minimizing Warpage for Macro-size Fused Deposition Modeling Parts

In this study,we investigated warpage and corner lifting minimization for three-dimensional printed parts generated by macro-size fused deposition modeling(FDM).First,the reas.ns for warpage were theoretically *** approach revealed that the thermal deformation and differential volumetric shrinkage of the extruded molten plastic resulted in warpage of FDM *** addition,low adhesion between the deposited model and the heated or non-heated printing bed may intensify warpage *** a next step,initial small-size and medium-size models were used to identify parameters to manage and minimize warpage in a way that would reduce material consumption and running ***,a macro-size model was built to experimentally investigate and verify the technical solutions to minimize the warpage of FDM *** conclusion,an improved part with reduced warpage was efficiently produced after detailed consideration of thermal effects and adhesion *** exists to widen the application scope of FDM technology in manufacturing for processes like thermoforming that involve mold core fabrication with *** technology,which has applications.not only in mechanical engineering but also in related engineering fields,is convenient and could readily be applied to practical manufacturing industries.
