In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,semantic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing image information efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of semantic *** the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)has fewer parameters,making it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as image segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate image ***,the parameters of PCNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its *** overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)model is proposed in this *** IPCNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input image and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of manual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPCNN on the gray images and natural images from the matlab and Berkeley segmentation *** IPCNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of image semantic information.

Impact of Polymer matrix on Polymer mechanochromism from Excited state Intramolecular Proton Transfer

mechanochromic polymers based on non-covalent changes have attracted much attention ***,we report the impact of inter/intramolecular hydrogen bonds on polymer mechanochromism from the excited state intramolecular proton transfer (EsIPT) ***-NH2-OH and Phmz=2A are designed and obtained by simple and high-yield synthesis,and are connected into polyurethane and poly(methyl acrylate-co-2-ethylhexyl acrylate),*** the initial state,the Phmz-NH2-OH@PU sample shows blue fluorescence from the excited enol form (E*) excitons,owing to intermolecular hydrogen bonds that interrupt the EsIPT reactions but the Phmz=2A@PmA-2-EA sample expresses cyan fluorescence belonging to the excited keto form (K*) emission,implying that the intramolecular hydrogen bonds ***,under stretching,external force can tune the emission of the Phmz=2A@PmA-2-EA sample from K* to E* *** external force can putatively still promote a bond rotation,EsIPT reactions remain equivalently interrupted in both the relaxed and stressed states in a hydrogen-bond donating *** calculation confirms the force-induced increase in dihedral angle for the transition of EsIPT-on/***,Phmz-NH2-OH@PU and Phmz=2A@PmA-2-EA showed disparate initial EsIPT states and further different responses/sensitivity to *** study reports a novel and efficient strategy for enriching mechanochromic investigation and extending the applications of EsIPT reactions.

Interactive mechanism and friction modelling of transient tribological phenomena in metal forming processes: A review

The accurate representation of tribological boundary conditions at the tool–workpiece interface is crucial for analysis and optimization of formability,material flow,and surface quality of components during metal forming *** has been found that these tribological conditions vary spatially and historically with process parameters and contact *** time-dependent tribological behaviours are also known as transient tribological phenomena,which are widely observed during forming processes and many other manufacturing application ***,constant friction values are usually assigned to represent complex and dynamic interfacial conditions,which would introduce deviations in the relevant *** this paper,transient tribological phenomena and the contemporary understanding of the interaction between friction and wear are reviewed,and it has been found that these phenomena are induced by the transitions of friction mechanisms and highly dependent on complex loading conditions at the *** modelling techniques for transient behaviours for metal forming applications are also *** accurately describe the evolutionary friction values and corresponding wear during forming,the advanced interactive friction modelling has been established for different application scenarios,including lubricated condition,dry sliding condition(metal-on-metal contact),and coated system.

Dynamic DNA nanotechnology plays a significant role in nanomedicine and information science due to its high programmability based on Watson-Crick base pairing and nanoscale *** DNA machines and networks have been widely used in various fields,including molecular imaging,biosensors,drug delivery,information processing,and logic *** serve as crucial components for information compilation and transfer,allowing the conversion of information from diverse application scenarios into a format recognized and applied by DNA ***,there are only a few encoder designs with DNA ***,the molecular priority encoder is hardly *** this study,we introduce allosteric DNAzyme-based encoders for information *** design of the allosteric domain and the recognition arm allows the input and output to be independent of each other and freely *** pre-packaged mode design achieves uniformity of baseline dynamics and dynamics *** also integrated non-nucleic acid molecules into the encoder through the aptamer design of the allosteric ***,we developed the 2^(n)-n encoder and the EndoⅣ-assisted priority encoder inspired by immunoglobulin's molecular structure and effector *** our knowledge,the proposed encoder is the first enzyme-free DNA encoder with DNA output,and the priority encoder is the first molecular priority encoder in the DNA reaction *** encoders avoid complex operations on a single molecule,and their simple structure facilitates their application in complex DNA circuits and biological scenarios.

Dynamics of holographic images of scalar-tensor-vector gravity-Ads black holes

Using Ads/CFT correspondence,we analyze the holographic Einstein images via the response function of the complex scalar field as a probe wave on an Ads schwarzschild scalar-tensor-vector gravity(sTVG)black hole(BH).We find that the amplitude of the response function||decreases with increasing values of coupling parameter a and increases with decreasing temperature *** frequencyωof the wave source also plays a significant role in wave periods;as we increase the values ofω,the periods of waves decrease,indicating that the total response function closely depends on the wave ***,we investigate the optical appearance of the holographic images of the BH in *** found that the holographic ring always appears with surrounding concentric stripes when the observer is located at the north pole,and an extremely bright ring appears when the observer is at the position of the photon sphere of the *** ring changes into a luminosity-deformed ring or a bright light spot as the observational angle *** corresponding brightness profiles show that the luminosity of the ring decreases and the shadow radius increases with increasing values of *** relation between temperature T and the inverse of the horizonh_e is discussed;T is small at the beginning of the horizon he and then increases as the horizon radius *** effect can be used to distinguish the sTVG BH solution from other BH ***,these significant features are also reflected in the Einstein ring and corresponding brightness *** addition,we compare the results obtained by wave optics and geometric optics,which align well,implying that the holographic scheme adopted in this study is valid.

GOEs-16 ABI Brightness Temperature Observations Capturing Vortex Rossby Wave signals during Rapid Intensification of hurricane Irma(2017)

Geostationary Operational Environmental satellite-16(GOEs-16) Advanced Baseline Imager(ABI) observations of brightness temperature(TB) are used to examine the temporal evolutions of convection-affected structures of hurricane Irma(2017) during its rapid intensification(RI) period from 0600 to 1800 UTC 4 september *** ABI observations reveal that both an elliptical eye and a spiral rainband that originated from Irma's eyewall obviously exhibit wavenumber-2 TB *** elliptical eye underwent a counterclockwise rotation at a mean speed of a wavenumber-2 vortex Rossby edge wave from 0815 to 1005 UTC 4 *** the following about 2 hours(1025–1255 UTC 4 september),an inner spiral rainband originated from the eyewall and propagated at a phase speed that approximates the vortex Rossby wave(VRW) phase speed calculated from the aircraft reconnaissance *** the RI period of Irma,ABI TB observations show an on–off occurrence of low TB intrusions into the eye,accompanying a phase lock of eyewall TB asymmetries of wavenumbers 1 and 2 and an outward propagation of VRW-like inner spiral rainbands from the *** phase lock leads to an energy growth of Irma's eyewall *** the eye remained clear from 1415 to 1725 UTC 4 september,an inner spiral rainband that originated from a large convective area also had a VRW-like outward propagation,which is probably due to a vertical tilt of *** study suggests a potential link between convection sensitive GOEs imager observations and hurricane dynamics.

EventLFm:event camera integrated Fourier light field microscopy for ultrafast 3D imaging

Ultrafast 3D imaging is indispensable for visualizing complex and dynamic biological *** scanning-based techniques necessitate an inherent trade-off between acquisition speed and space-bandwidth product(sBP).Emerging single-shot 3D wide-field techniques offer a promising alternative but are bottlenecked by the synchronous readout constraints of conventional CmOs systems,thus restricting data throughput to maintain high sBP at limited frame *** address this,we introduce EventLFm,a straightforward and cost-effective system that overcomes these challenges by integrating an event camera with Fourier light field microscopy(LFm),a state-of-theart single-shot 3D wide-field imaging *** event camera operates on a novel asynchronous readout architecture,thereby bypassing the frame rate limitations inherent to conventional CmOs *** further develop a simple and robust event-driven LFm reconstruction algorithm that can reliably reconstruct 3D dynamics from the unique spatiotemporal measurements captured by *** results demonstrate that EventLFm can robustly reconstruct fast-moving and rapidly blinking 3D fluorescent samples at kHz frame ***,we highlight EventLFm’s capability for imaging of blinking neuronal signals in scattering mouse brain tissues and 3D tracking of GFP-labeled neurons in freely moving *** believe that the combined ultrafast speed and large 3D sBP offered by EventLFm may open up new possibilities across many biomedical applications.

Litterfall production modeling based on climatic variables and nutrient return from stands of Eucalyptus grandis Hill ex maiden and Pinus taeda L.

Native grasslands in the Pampas of south America are increasingly being replaced by Eucalyptus and Pinus *** short rotation regimes used for the stands require high nutrient levels,with litterfall being a major source of nutrient *** model the litterfall production using climatic variables and assess the nutrient return in 14-year-old Eucalyptus grandis and Pinus taeda stands,we measured litter production over 2 years,using conical litter traps,and monitored climatic *** temperature,accumulated precipitation,and mean maximum vapor pres-sure deficit at the seasonal level influenced litterfall produc-tion by ***;seasonal accumulated precipitation and mean maximum temperature affected litterfall by *** regression tree modeling based on these climatic vari-ables had great accuracy and predictive power for ***(N=33;mAE(mean absolute error)=0.65;RmsE(root mean square error)=0.91;R^(2)=0.71)and ***(N=108;mAE=1.50;RmsE=1.59;R^(2)=0.72).The nutrient return followed a similar pattern to litterfall deposition,as well as the order of importance of macronutrients(***:Ca>N>K>mg>P;***:N>Ca>K>mg>P)and micronutrients(*** and ***:mn>Fe>Zn>Cu)in both *** study constitutes a first approximation of factors that affect litterfall and nutrient return in these systems.
