Numerical study on Local Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of supercritical CO_(2) in PCHE with sinusoidal Channels

Local heat transfer and flow characteristics,which is crucial to the overall performance of supercritical CO_(2) recuperators,is rarely examined in details in reported *** this paper,the local heat transfer and flow characteristics of supercritical CO_(2) in sinusoidal channel printed circuit heat exchangers are numerically investigated under the working conditions of *** on the simplified physical model constituted by10 pitches,the variations of Re,heat flux,Nu,secondary flow and other relevant parameters along the flow direction are analyzed *** is further made between the high and low temperature recuperators(HTR and LTR).It's observed that the local heat transfer and flow characteristics vary greatly from the inlet to the outlet,especially in the *** of 127.5% and 61.7% can be observed on the cold side of the LTR for Re and heat transfer coefficient h, *** indicate that the temperature difference and heat transfer coefficient h should not be regarded as constant and the distribution of h should be carefully considered in the design of the *** complicated interactions among the varying thermophysical properties,buoyancy and the periodically changed centrifugal force are believed to be the key that shapes the flow ***,the changes of the wavy angle θ are found to have greater influence than the changes of mass flow rate in reshaping the flow field when θ>25°.Though gravity direction strongly affects the local heat transfer and flow characteristics,it's also found that the effects on the overall thermal-hydraulic performance are relatively *** the installation direction that yields a_y=g should better be avoided for the sinusoidal channel printed circuit heat exchanger.

Elliptic curve cryptography is an important part of nowaday's public key *** points of elliptic curves over finite fields is of great significance to the selection of safety *** present,there are many p-adic algorithms,such as ssT algorithm,generalized AGM algorithm,Kedlaya algorithm,etc.,which can deal with the situation of finite fields of small *** this paper,the authors generalize the MssT algorithm of characteristic 2 to general fields of odd characteristic,and propose the generalized MssT *** generalized MssT algorithm is achieved by combining the advantages of the ssT algorithm and the generalized AGM *** the time complexity of the multiplication of two n-bit numbers is denoted as O((n)^(μ)),then the time complexity of the generalized MssT algorithm is O(n^(2μ+1/1+μ)),which is the same as the improved ssT *** practical experiments,the running time of the generalized MssT algorithm is less than that of the improved ssT algorithm.

Motif-based graph local clustering(MGLC)is a popular method for graph mining tasks due to its various ***,the traditional two-phase approach of precomputing motif weights before performing local clustering loses locality and is impractical for large *** some attempts have been made to address the efficiency bottleneck,there is still no applicable algorithm for large scale graphs with billions of *** this paper,we propose a purely local and index-free method called Index-free Triangle-based Graph Local Clustering(TGLC^(*))to solve the MGLC problem w.r.t.a ***^(*)directly estimates the Personalized PageRank(PPR)vector using random walks with the desired triangleweighted distribution and proposes the clustering result using a standard sweep *** demonstrate TGLC^(*)’s scalability through theoretical analysis and its practical benefits through a novel visualization ***^(*)is the first algorithm to solve the MGLC problem without precomputing the motif *** experiments on seven real-world large-scale datasets show that TGLC^(*)is applicable and scalable for large graphs.

Cooperation and networking are powerful tools in the combating against tropical diseases. Cooperation on a global scale is essential due to the transboundary nature of tropical diseases. Networking plays a pivotal role in facilitating such cooperation. Both cooperation and networking can foster innovation in disease control programmes. Collaborative research can lead to the development of new drugs and vaccines, while shared surveillance data can enable the early detection and control of disease epidemics. Therefore, consensus of cooperation and networking has been reached during the 7th symposium on surveillance-Response systems Leading to Tropical Diseases Elimination, which reflected in the two documents, i.e.,Consensus for Transboundary Tropical Diseases Control, andAction Consensus of the Network of WHO Collaborating Centres Related to NTDs. These documents will improve the efforts in the fighting against tropical diseases through collective actions to achieve the United Nations’ sustainable Development Goals (sDGs).

Energy consumption optimization for edge computing-supported cellular networks based on optimal transport theory

With advancements in mobile communication technologies, there have been multiple user device(UD) connections to cellular networks. Because of changes in the spatial distribution of UDs and application requirements, the traditional offloading mechanism based on the nearest distance will result in heavy loads for some base stations(Bss). Because there is a high-order relationship between the energy consumption of the Bs processing tasks and the number of computing tasks, the traditional offloading mechanism will result in high energy consumption, and UD’s offloading decision must be dynamically adjusted. The offloading decision of UDs is optimized based on detailed information about various parameters associated with a network from the standpoint of distribution. This information includes details regarding the spatial distribution of UDs,application requirements, and the offloading period of computing tasks. Based on optimal transport theory,an energy consumption optimization algorithm is suggested to lower the total amount of energy consumed by the offloading process of UDs’ computing tasks by reasonably planning the offloading Bss of the UDs in the networks. The simulation results show that the proposed offloading mechanism based on energy consumption optimization reduces the total energy consumption of the offloading process by 28.09% when compared to the traditional offloading mechanism, and the traffic managed by each Bs is balanced.

Chain Dynamics Heterogeneity in Plasticized Poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB) as Elucidated by solid-state NMR

The chain dynamics heterogeneity of the poly(vinyl butyral)(PVB) plasticized by triethylene glycol bis(2-ethylhexa noate)(TEG-EH) was investigated by various solid-state NMR *** plasticized PVB shows two domains in distinct molecular dynamics differences,namely,rigid and soft domains,where the latter is the plasticizer-rich *** time domain low field NMR was first used to investigate the dynamics heterogeneity of the plasticized PVB,and the results show the decreasing activated energy of components in the soft domain of plasticized PVB(E_a=20.2 kJ/mol) as compared with that of the pristine one(E_a=24.3 kJ/mol).Detailed dynamics heterogeneity was obtained by high-field NMR with site-specific *** quadrupole-echo ~2H-NMR was adopted to elucidate the dynamics heterogeneity of the vinyl alcohol(VA) units,where only the hydroxyl group of VA is *** ~1H-^(13)C WIsE NMR spectra show that there is not much difference in the mobility of the VB unit in PVB with and without plasticizer,whereas the glass transition temperature differed by approximately 53℃.This is further supported by Torchia's T_1 relaxation *** origin of such an unusual phenomenon is attributed to the critical role of the remaining VA(~22%) in the soft domain,where the VA units locally aggregate through hydrogen ***,the existence of a mobility gradient in the VB unit has been ***,the mobility difference for VB with different stereo-geometry(meso or racemic conformation) is observed for the first *** indicates the importance of modulating the ratio of meso over racemic VB for controlling the macroscopic perfo rmance of PVB.

Rational design of hydroxytricyanopyrrole-based probes with high affinity and rapid visualization for amyloid-β aggregates in vitro and in vivo

As key biomarkers,amyloid-β(Aβ)plaques are frequently used to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Although fluorescence imaging has proven to be effective in detecting these plaques,the gold standard probe thioflavin T(ThT),used for Aβaggregates,cannot be applied in vivo owing to its invasive ***,the development of novel fluorescent probes capable of identifying Aβplaques in situ is *** on the ThT structure,twoπ-conjugated heterocyclic D-π-A probes were designed bearing the hydroxytricyanopyrrole acceptor and N,N-dimethylaminophenyl *** probes exhibited red to near-infrared fluorescence emission(λ_(max)=732 nm),large stokes shifts(>100 nm),exceptional signal-to-noise ratio,rapid response(s),and high binding affinity(NT-HTCP=33.32 nmol/L;NF-HTCP=53.35 nmol/L)for Aβ*** the best candidate,NT-HTCP was used for in situ imaging of Aβplaques in AD mouse ***,in vivo research demonstrated that NT-HTCP could cross the blood-brain barrier and continue imaging the Aβplaques with a good signal-to-noise ***,the outcomes of the docking computations helped guide the development of the Aβ*** study expands the family of N,N-dimethylaminophenyl-based Aβ-sensitive fluorophores,with NTHTCP emerging as a highly promising imaging agent.
